    Roderick Place was named COO of InterDent in 2017 and assumed Co-Leadership as Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Mr. Place has extensive experience transforming private equity backed healthcare companies through his strategic leadership, focus on operational excellence, clinical leadership collaboration, and structuring of field operations and corporate support teams. Mr. Place is also accomplished in leading boards and executive teams through expansive growth in mergers & acquisitions, DeNovo, due diligence and market consolidation. Before joining InterDent, Mr. Place served in executive level operations roles with Western Dental, MedQuest Associates and Alliance Healthcare. Mr. Place is also the Managing Director and Co-Founder of MedSummit Solutions, LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Grand Valley State University.

    Matthew Wickesberg joined InterDent as EVP/CFO in 2016 and assumed Co-Leadership as Executive Vice Chairman two years later. In 2019, he was further elevated to Co-Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wickesberg is an experienced board member, executive officer, and lender with a deep background in multi-site hospitality and healthcare industries. He is also experienced working with lending institutions and private equity firms through structuring capital, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, and uncovering portfolio synergies. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Wickesberg served in various senior finance roles with HOA Restaurant Group, ZTejas, Inc., and GE Capital. Mr. Wickesberg received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oklahoma State University and his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

    Dr. Heather Hawkins has committed her career to patient care while understanding current healthcare trends and value-based comprehensive care. Dr. Hawkins has an expansive clinical, academic and operational background, including leading medical-dental integration as well as quality and risk management for multi-site healthcare organizations. After 12 years of practicing general dentistry, she expanded her skills with several key roles in academia. In 2012 she joined the team at Adventist Health in Northern California, a multi-site health care organization with over 5,000 medical and dental staff physicians, as the Director of Quality. In her leadership role there, Dr. Hawkins led expansion and integration across the health system with medical and dental clinic management and an emphasis on comprehensive care models addressing patient risk factors, active disease and preventative measures. Dr. Hawkins earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certification from Virginia Commonwealth University.

    Dr. Manu Chaudhry has dedicated his career in the pursuit of dental health care, improving clinical quality and access to care, and transforming delivery of care to improve overall health outcomes. He is a dynamic and mission-driven leader with extensive leadership experience over multi-region dental practices, and has also founded multiple collaborative organizations that reduce oral and overall health disparities. Dr. Chaudhry is a board member of Healthier Kids Foundation and holds a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific.

    Sandra Lau is a seasoned legal adviser with over fourteen years experience acting as General Counsel of multiple dental healthcare corporations. Ms. Laus responsibilities include advising executive management, supporting strategic growth initiatives, overseeing all aspects of the corporate legal function including HIPAA, state and federal regulatory compliance, corporate transactions and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and risk and litigation management. Before Joining InterDent, Ms. Lau served as General Counsel at Western Dental. Ms. Lau holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Marymount University.

    Bernard Piccione has extensive experience across a wide range of industries delivering complex enterprise-scale information technology solutions to achieve major global business value and objectives. Mr. Piccione excels at driving sustainable business growth through IT modernization, solution development, and global transformation initiatives while building strong partnerships to better leverage technology solutions. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Piccione served as CIO for Ingenuity Advisory Partners, Inc., Complex Care Solutions, Inc., and MagnaCare. Mr. Piccione holds a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from Boston University.

    Darrin Kellaris is a senior marketing executive with over 20 years experience specializing in digital marketing, social media, and brand strategy. Mr. Kellaris offers a record of success in creating and driving marketing strategies that strengthen revenue, margins, and market share by elevating brand authenticity and relevance. At InterDent, he leads all aspects of marketing including digital and social media, brand positioning, and performance analytics. Prior to joining InterDent, he led marketing efforts at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and IHOP. Mr. Kellaris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State University.

    Diane Stern brings almost 20 years of dental services organizational experience specializing in organizational design and strategic partnering. Ms. Stern is responsible for Human Resources planning and strategy for recruiting, retention, benefits and performance management. She built her HR leadership experience through roles at Coast Dental, PrimeCo Wireless Communications and LabCorp where she focused on employee programs to increase engagement and satisfaction along with operational efficiencies. Ms. Stern holds a Bachelors degree in English Literature, Education, and Business from the University of Tampa and volunteers at KMR Group Foundation.

    Went as a new patient earlier this year. Prior to the appointment, I called to confirm I would see an in-network dentist. They confirmed I would. The day of the appointment, had a full set of Xrays and new patient exam - no cleaning. They said I required a deep-cleaning/scaling that needs a new appointment and would cost several hundred out-of-pocket. Caught me off guard because I've got good teeth. And no mention of the cost of this current visit before I left their office. Several days later, Gentle Dental Tripointe sends me a bill for a couple hundred for the exam and Xrays. Turns out they mis-scheduled me with an out-of-network dentist. I disputed the claim successfully and canceled my upcoming appointment with them. I then updated my insurance plan so I could see another dentist I heard is good. This did mean I had to miss my regular cleaning. Come time for the appointment with the new dental office and the cleaning goes great and they compliment me on my teeth. Schedule a follow-up appointment for an exam and I request Gentle Dental Tripointe to send my Xrays over. They were quick. The day of the exam I find they sent a low-quality screenshot to my new dentist which were useless for evaluation. My new dentist had to retake the Xrays (they gave me a good discount on them). Time will tell if Gentle Dental Tripointe tries sending me a bill for the Xrays transfer ... I wish I can say I got unlucky, but it felt to me they just don't have their ducks in a row and are pushing unnecessary expensive treatment. But, maybe I did just get unlucky in my interaction with them ... twice ... in a row. ..... Their lobby's nice.

    Very disappointed. I have had one of the worst dental cleanings of my life here, and they never followed up with me when I reached out with my concerns. While I was at my appointment the staff tried to up sell me multiple times. I was told that I had multiple issues with my teeth, however after having other dentist look, they say no such issues.I also had issues communicating and booking appointments. Finally, I was told that they would except my insurance, then months later I received bills from them, denying my insurance. They told me that the company excepted my insurance but the specific dentist that they assigned me didn't except my insurance.

    Showed up 10 minutes early to my 10 AM appt. Was kept waiting until 10:19, then spent another 15 minutes waiting for the hygienist in the chair. In the middle of my procedure she left for 30 minutes to treat another patient. Asked if she changed her gloves before she went back into my mouth, she said she did, but i didn't witness it.Then they chargedI me$50 over the price I was originally quoted. Never again, worst experience ever.

    What can I say about Dr. Morris and Sweet Julie. I went in with a cracked tooth. One of my small molars. Dr. Morris took a look, said yup could be fixed and crownd. Said it would be a "simple " fix. Well, came back for my appointment, Dr. M did his thing with the needle asked me if I was comfortable , then the work started. This bear of a man was so gentle and kind throughout the entire process. Swore he was going to save the tooth from an implant or pulling it out completely....and no sir-eee absolutely no root canal. Said everything looked A OK on that end. So yes, after 4 hours he saved the tooth and my Sweet Julie was right there alongside him. Dr. Morris constantly came in to check if all was well...of course it was. Julie is a perfectionist and took very good care of her patient Took a perfect impression for my crown, which of course, you guessed it, fits PERFECT. WOW...what an experience. I've been to many dentists in my 76 years and have many crowns . This one truly took the cake. I'm so blessed to have Dr. Morris and Julie taking care of me. THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the hard work you put into to my smile...GOD bless you both.

    Clean, pleasant atmosphere. Staff and Doctor were patient and personable and professional, especially Lory was enjoying to talk to while I was awaiting my treatment.

    I went in for the new patient special. I thought I'd be getting a cleaning but really, I paid $50 for the x-rays and exam. They want $1284.00 for the cleaning on my next visit. Exorbitant and misleading. I will not go again. Shocked, angry and dismayed. If you know of any reasonable dentists in the area please let me know. I've no insurance and my teeth are not bad but Gentle dental won't touch unless I take out a loan!!! I went to a dentist in Mesa in 2020 and paid $125 for a cleaning with out any fuss. Tucson dentists must be different.

    Gentle Dental offers a professional knowledgeable and caring staff. I appreciate all they've done for me and my smile over the past several months. Julie the dental hygienist is so welcoming and calming. I'm glad I picked Dental Dental for my dental needs.

    I love this place so much! Ive had terrible anxiety about going to the dentist for years, but Haley and Nina are Amazing, and take great care of me. My experience here has been peaceful and pain free and my health is improving dramatically. Thank you GD!

    Great experience from start to finish. First Patti and Maria at the front desk, then Jodi and Hailey in the back, and finally Dr Morris. Didn't see Nancy today but she was great last time. Hopefully I didn't miss anyone.

    The young lady that did my teeth whitening was wonderful. She gave very good instructions and explanations. I felt confidence in her care. She was very careful not to cause me any discomfort or pain. I highly recommend her!

    I would highly recommend that a $ 5 raise should be given to Tracy, and Danny at the front office when I first walk in. Such polite , respectful woman to be around Please don't disappoint me Danny personally is just the Best she has to be driven by greatness from either the father the son or the Holy Spirit or great parents at home I have never in my whole Iife meet someone as well together as Danny Godspeed for many more years to come Amen to that Thomas
