I miss the staff that use to work there. The staff now do not listen to my concerns or to my financial concerns as to what my insurance covers! I was told this is what you need to have done and we cannot do anything else for you regardless of what your insurance pays for it or not you need to pay for whatever you need to have done! The staff are not willing to work with me! not good customer service! won't be coming back.

Never able to get a hold of a real person. Always have to leave a voice message or a message with their call service company. Rarely got a call back. Front desk woman kind of rude. Final straw was had an appointment on a specific day and time. Confirmed it several times with them by text and email. On the day of the appointment I received two phone calls within 30 seconds of each other with no voice message left. Called back within 10 minutes but went directly into voicemail. Evidently the appointment was canceled and when I showed up to the front door the lights were off and the doors were locked. No email or voicemail was ever sent. Called and went directly into voicemail and left a voice message. No follow up call was ever given to me or email sent. I'm done with these people. I would not advise my friends or family to go here.

I had to work there about a year ago and it was actually really fantastic and the nurses and doctors were wonderful but after covid they hired some rude people I lost my insurance due to covid and then when I got it back I try to schedule an appointment and the lady was very rude to me over the phone and told me she did not take my type of insurance even though my insurance said that specific dentist did take my insurance she told me she would give me a call back and I never received one I've been calling 3 days a week for the past 6 months and no one has bothered to call me back it is almost impossible to get a hold of anyone I've left about 12 messages now and not one call back

Front office - couldn't identify my insurance as dental insurance, even though it was clearly dental insurance. Made me call them at my first appointment and it was easily cleared up. Didn't record my second appointment because their data base went down. Dr. seemed more interested in selling me a crown than cleaning my teeth. Second half of the cleaning was half hearted at best even after a delay due to staff shortage.

It has been close to 10 years since I went to this office. It was a horrible experience, like a few other reviewers have stated, it is disorganized and noisy. There was child having work done and he was screaming. The tech told me his parents couldn't afford to pay for the numbing medication. My personal experience was having a crown replaced and it was rushed and painful. Definitely not gentle. Then, just recently, I received a notification from their accounting department in the state of Washington informing me that I had a couple hundred dollar credit with their office. Are you kidding? After approximately 10 years, someone just noticed the credit? They included a form for me to sign to allow them to refund my money. Stay away, they have dishonest business practices and awful dental procedures.

Seem like I get over charged every time I go here. Never gives me a receipt for what I am getting charge with. Always a hidden fee with something.

Just drove an hour in the rain to arrive on time at this office. It took three weeks to get the appointment and during that time I received numerous emails and text messages to make sure I arrived on time. When I arrive, the woman didn't even look up from her computer but while working on something else informed me that there was a problem with my insurance so there was no appointment. I offered to resolve the matter and they were quick to shut down and discussion or offer alternatives. Awful service. So unprofessional. I can only imagine what the care is like.

Had a five star experience at Gentle Dental everyone was very kind and helpful! The staff and doctor were all extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. There was no price changes in the middle of the visit they were extremely thorough. First place I have been to that is like that. Without a doubt I recommend Gentle Dental to all who are looking for a new dental office!

I'd been going to this place since I was a kid. The last few years it's really changed. I experienced passive aggressive staff 3 or so years ago which was never the case when I was growing up there. For example, the hygienist tried to talk me into getting my teeth whitened. I said no thanks. She said, "Well if you're ok with your teeth like that..." Around that time they rescheduled me 3 times in a row because the hygienist's schedule kept changing. (I came back after all that and even one of the staff expressed surprise that I returned). In December, I called to reschedule an appointment and they didn't have it in the books (good thing I called!) I didn't put it in my calendar randomly. The receptionist offered a Saturday appointment which I happily accepted. But when I arrived, the doors were locked and the phone went to voicemail. I sent them an email as well with proof of their confirming my appointment for that day. They never got back to me to follow up and apologize. I picked up my records and they were perfectly nice of course. So ya know - there's nice things too. Hope the best for them and that they get out of their funk.

Made an appointment over a week in advance, requested time off work, then received a call during the work day 3 days before hand that my appointment had been canceled. Made another appointment and resumed my workday, received another call that my appointment had been canceled again. When I asked what was happening it turns out they kept trying to make appointments at the same location (Petaluma) even though I was requesting Santa Rosa and the Petaluma location was calling me to cancel after they made the appointments. Roughly 30 minutes on the phone later and I am told they don't have appointments for the day I requested off work over a week prior and there wouldn't be another appointment available for around 3 weeks. Turns out they only have dentists in on Wednesdays as well

I keep getting texts to call and schedule an appointment for incomplete dental work. I've called several times and left voicemails but have never received a call back. I also never received a call back regarding severe pain after a root canal. I ended up having to go to the emergency room to relieve the pain. I'm so happy I found a new, caring, and professional dentist that RETURNS MY PHONE CALLS.

This place is the WORST. They never awnser your phone calls. Will change your appointment without consulting YOU, the PATIENT of this change. Twice.TWICE They have been CLOSED on the day they have sheduled an appointment. When confronted with this they offered no apologies nor an actual explanation. I will Never Do business with them. Never come here.

This dental office is not open every day. They do not return phone calls in a timely manner. I had to wait 24 hours for a call back. I had called as an existing patient and got voice-mail. The following day I called again and got voice mail I tried calling in as a new patient and that call was answered. The dentist at Gentle Dental seemed to be very overbooked. Not a great experience.

They sent me a reminder to be at their office. Which I took time off work to do. When I got there at 0900 on a Thursday there was no one in the building/working. Dont recommend if you're busy and value your time.

The only reason we are still a patient here is because of Dr. Bryan! I keep wanting to ask her why she chooses this practice! Every time I come in her equipment is not set up for her or not working. The front office is not organized at all. It is next to impossible to get someone to answer the phone. They offer a nice discount plan which is really the only reason we have put up with this. As soon as we get our treatments we will be looking for another dentist sadly!
