Absolutely amazing and chill people. Not to mention top notch dental work with very happy smile. Always relaxed, never question me when I brought my service dog in to my appointments. Veteran certified from me. Thanks again!

Worst dental office I've ever been to. Came recommended by a friend, and after my visit I learned of a change of ownership that seems to have taken this place downhill. The polish dental assistant did a good job on my teeth cleaning, I was happy with him. The actual dentist though needs to work on his bed side manner. After my first round of fillings I had a sharp and irritating edge, and one of the fillings fell out. When I came back to address my concerns they were very rude and said they would have to X-ray to see if they had even done the filling that came out (this was one week later) and I got the feeling they were going to charge me for the X-rays. I ended up going to Mexico for the work and the flight+rental+work cost me less then the cleaning.

NEVER had a problem until today. I called to schedule an appointment and Jessica answered the phone she really pi**sed me off. She was rude from the get go. I would still recommend this place though ONLY because the Dr is definitely the best in salisbury and this was honestly my first time having a bad experience here. I wouldn't write a black man doing his thing off for one bad day that someone had. I had previous work done on my teeth at Alpha cosmetics(DO NOT GO THERE. Now she is barbaric and I was traumatized). Dr. Garner went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable even gave me something for anxiety. He is an amazing doctor, although sometimes curt. I chalk it up to him being busy but he makes sure whoever is assisting him takes the time to help you. If they don't know the answer he makes sure he's available to them to answer your questions. If you don't mind staff being rude every now and then he is definitely worth every penny. Today just so happened to be the day Jessica was the rude straw that broke the camels back.

My experience at Gentledental was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! A lot of people may not think that because the idea of going to the dentist can sometimes be a painful experience... in my case it was exactly what the name of the business is ...

Our first time at this dental office and I have to say I was very impressed. Clean, neat, organized and extremely friendly. James did my daughter and I cleaning. He was gentle and through. Our mouths did not hurt after like they ...

I had a good experience overall. I was a little scared at first. I had 3 extractions done. I only felt pain after the numbness wore off. Overall I am fine. I will go back for a routine cleaning.

Compassionate and wonderful, I've had to get some work done over the past few months and every visit is very pleasant. I've felt so much better about my teeth since I started coming here.

The dental hygienist or assistant or whoever she is (the middle-aged one) immediately had a bad attitude towards me (all three times I went, but today was the worst) and was being defensive in listing her credentials as well as interrupting me several times. Very condescending. Upon coming into the room Dr. Garner asked me why I was there and I proceeded to tell him about the line through my tooth that has appeared recently (since he's done work on it). He told me that he didn't charge me for what he did the last time but will definitely be charging me this time, in a nasty tone. When asked A question, I was interrupted upon attempting to respond. They both were laughing at me for what I was saying and being demeaning with how they were speaking to me. Dr. Garner kept repeating that the grooves in another part of my tooth they photographed and brought up on the computer were "natural", over and over. I stated that isn't what I was referring to or why I was there. Not only did they evade what I was talking about, but upon me stating that I wanted to make sure nothing wrong was done prior to this visit, I was immediately interrupted and Dr. Garner started to offer me the number to complain to someone about his services. Almost as if this as happened before (which according to other reviews, it has). At first the hygienist put a light behind the tooth with a line through it telling me that she couldn't see what I was talking about and then when she handed me the mirror I could clearly see it and pointed it out and then she said she could see it without actually saying that she could see it. When I asked the young woman that they were training, standing to the side, if she saw it, I was immediately told that she didn't see it and not to ask her. Overall, I was treated with great disrespect. The doctor even went as far as to laugh and say "you obviously went on google", when I mentioned the term "craze line". They were both very dismissive and rude. When I got home I looked up reviews for Gentle Dental/Dr. Garner to see if I was alone in my experience, and sure enough, there were numerous people stating that there was another dentist there that was great that left and so they left as well. There were multiple reviews saying how bad his bedside manner is (which I can attest to) and also three or four reviews mentioning mistakes made, in office, that he refused to take responsibility for. Also to be noted, is that Dr. Garner said several times "don't ever do that again". I couldn't tell if he was speaking to me or the hygienist, and didn't address it or inquire.

I had high hopes for this dentist. Unfortunately that all fell short by the insanely rude staff and dentist. Prior to Dr Garner taking over the business, it was delightful to go there. Now none of the original staff is there and the assistant, Francis, belittles us and the dentist has zero bedside manner. Dr Garner is extremely rough during treatment and takes little time to listen to your concerns or questions. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I had the misfortune of a dental emergency within my first week of moving to Salisbury. I'd received several recommendations for dental work from the VA hospital for providers that work with veterans. Gentle Dental was not only able to see me immediately (30 minutes after i initially called their office), they were also willing to work with me on making payments while they treated me. Their kindness and compassion were immediate and they've gone above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable and satisfied with my new crown. As a grieving mother and disabled vet, it's been difficult to find a reason to smile most days. But their professionalism and personal mannerisms of excellence have helped more than words can express. 5 stars is not enough appreciation for this amazing group of folks. Forever grateful

I went here for a cleaning. So I came in, filled out paperwork, THEY TOLD ME MY INSURANCE COVERED THAT VISIT -THIS IS IMPORTANT INFORMATION! went back to see Ernest A. garner Jr. He looked in my mouth, took some plaque off, then showed me a picture of SEVERE gingivitis and said "It looks close to this but not exactly" (which was not true at all, I eventually bought my own tool to use on my teeth & it doesn't look any where as bad as the pic he showed me) so a lady came in and handed me a paper saying id have to pay almost $300 for a cleaning.. For a cleaning that is supposed to be free. Well I cancled my appointment right? I just got a bill for who knows what that is $33?! They are not seeing a single penny and I am NEVER going back to this horrible place. I already called and left a message asking why they billed me when they said to my face that it was free!

I had a root canal done 17 years ago that I never had a crown put on. Last week the build up that sealed the tooth fell out leaving a gaping hole in my mouth. Dr. Garner replaced the build up completely painlessly without even having to numb me! Definitely 5 stars! Highly recommend. I'll be getting my crown done here very soon
