    Roderick Place was named COO of InterDent in 2017 and assumed Co-Leadership as Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Mr. Place has extensive experience transforming private equity backed healthcare companies through his strategic leadership, focus on operational excellence, clinical leadership collaboration, and structuring of field operations and corporate support teams. Mr. Place is also accomplished in leading boards and executive teams through expansive growth in mergers & acquisitions, DeNovo, due diligence and market consolidation. Before joining InterDent, Mr. Place served in executive level operations roles with Western Dental, MedQuest Associates and Alliance Healthcare. Mr. Place is also the Managing Director and Co-Founder of MedSummit Solutions, LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Grand Valley State University.

    Matthew Wickesberg joined InterDent as EVP/CFO in 2016 and assumed Co-Leadership as Executive Vice Chairman two years later. In 2019, he was further elevated to Co-Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wickesberg is an experienced board member, executive officer, and lender with a deep background in multi-site hospitality and healthcare industries. He is also experienced working with lending institutions and private equity firms through structuring capital, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, and uncovering portfolio synergies. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Wickesberg served in various senior finance roles with HOA Restaurant Group, ZTejas, Inc., and GE Capital. Mr. Wickesberg received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oklahoma State University and his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

    Dr. Heather Hawkins has committed her career to patient care while understanding current healthcare trends and value-based comprehensive care. Dr. Hawkins has an expansive clinical, academic and operational background, including leading medical-dental integration as well as quality and risk management for multi-site healthcare organizations. After 12 years of practicing general dentistry, she expanded her skills with several key roles in academia. In 2012 she joined the team at Adventist Health in Northern California, a multi-site health care organization with over 5,000 medical and dental staff physicians, as the Director of Quality. In her leadership role there, Dr. Hawkins led expansion and integration across the health system with medical and dental clinic management and an emphasis on comprehensive care models addressing patient risk factors, active disease and preventative measures. Dr. Hawkins earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certification from Virginia Commonwealth University.

    Dr. Manu Chaudhry has dedicated his career in the pursuit of dental health care, improving clinical quality and access to care, and transforming delivery of care to improve overall health outcomes. He is a dynamic and mission-driven leader with extensive leadership experience over multi-region dental practices, and has also founded multiple collaborative organizations that reduce oral and overall health disparities. Dr. Chaudhry is a board member of Healthier Kids Foundation and holds a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific.

    Sandra Lau is a seasoned legal adviser with over fourteen years experience acting as General Counsel of multiple dental healthcare corporations. Ms. Laus responsibilities include advising executive management, supporting strategic growth initiatives, overseeing all aspects of the corporate legal function including HIPAA, state and federal regulatory compliance, corporate transactions and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and risk and litigation management. Before Joining InterDent, Ms. Lau served as General Counsel at Western Dental. Ms. Lau holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Marymount University.

    Bernard Piccione has extensive experience across a wide range of industries delivering complex enterprise-scale information technology solutions to achieve major global business value and objectives. Mr. Piccione excels at driving sustainable business growth through IT modernization, solution development, and global transformation initiatives while building strong partnerships to better leverage technology solutions. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Piccione served as CIO for Ingenuity Advisory Partners, Inc., Complex Care Solutions, Inc., and MagnaCare. Mr. Piccione holds a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from Boston University.

    Darrin Kellaris is a senior marketing executive with over 20 years experience specializing in digital marketing, social media, and brand strategy. Mr. Kellaris offers a record of success in creating and driving marketing strategies that strengthen revenue, margins, and market share by elevating brand authenticity and relevance. At InterDent, he leads all aspects of marketing including digital and social media, brand positioning, and performance analytics. Prior to joining InterDent, he led marketing efforts at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and IHOP. Mr. Kellaris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State University.

    Diane Stern brings almost 20 years of dental services organizational experience specializing in organizational design and strategic partnering. Ms. Stern is responsible for Human Resources planning and strategy for recruiting, retention, benefits and performance management. She built her HR leadership experience through roles at Coast Dental, PrimeCo Wireless Communications and LabCorp where she focused on employee programs to increase engagement and satisfaction along with operational efficiencies. Ms. Stern holds a Bachelors degree in English Literature, Education, and Business from the University of Tampa and volunteers at KMR Group Foundation.

    The orthodontist could have saved me some time after telling me during our first appointment that they can see me again to perform the procedure, but then during the second appointment tell me they do not recommend it and the reasons why. It would have been great to know the pros and cons and their opinion during our first meeting before proceeding since they knew exactly what I would be seeing them again. Also, there may be an additional $200 cost for some other things.

    Best dental experience, ever! The front desk staff are efficient and thorough (Raman, the office manager, in particular), plus the dental hygienist staff is wonderful too (especially Alina who makes cleanings a total breeze.) The best part is Dr. Arbia Zainvi. Just simply... wow. She's highly intelligent, communicative and has a wonderful chair-side manner. I had to get lots of complicated dental work done with her through multiple appointments. She was so great about explaining the purpose of each procedure each step of the way as she worked. She decreased anxiety during lengthy visits by taking breaks and having such a calming demeanor., always asking if the patient feels okay. She is available for follow-up phone calls and truly seems to care about the welfare of her patients. On top of that, she is just a very competent provider. She seems to take a lot of pride in her work and it definitely shows. She's the best dentist I've ever had and I recommend her to anyone!

    i have been a regular patient since 2018 and then during covid there management changed and things have gone downhill. my 1 star is for the kind of customer service they provide. i have been cancelled/re-scheduled out of my appointments on 4 consecutive occasions!! and every time its the same reason that our Hygienist took leave last minute. 4 consecutive reschedules is too much of a co-incidence!! All this without any apologies to the customer!! they have an i do not care attitude. please look elsewhere for better service.

    Worst dental appointment experience I ever had. I wasted two hours here with getting hardly anything done. Firstly I arrived on time for my appointment but they kept me wait for almost one hours before taking me for some X-ray checkup. Secondly, after checkup, they tried to get me doing deep cleaning but I said I did deep cleaning one year ago and only want regular cleaning this time, like how I did regular cleaning with my other previous dentists. The doctor then refused my request and said I either do deep cleaning or they cannot do anything. Then I walked away. This time I switched Gentle dental because it is close to where I live. Now I will just go back to my previous dentist and never come to Gentle dental again.

    Gentle Dental has been really great in helping me get on top of my tooth decay. All the staff are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Dr. Zainvi works very precisely and does a great job at explaining what's going on and formulating a plan. Overall probably the best dentist I've ever had.

    Highly recommend this office! The office was clean and simple. Everyone there treated me kindly and respectfully. The young ladies up front were patient and led me through the process to make it fun and easy! The doctors seemed to be very well experienced and they hold up to their name! If you come here speak to snizhana she was great!

    Not really a fan of this office's front desk secretaries. Second time I've been to this location and the front desk is so covid-scared they are overboard, and rude in my opinion. Not only did they mishear me and end up correcting me matter of factly without providing a correct billing answer, they then went on to say "can he please sit down so we can check in the next client?" The question was worded wierd and the tone was what made me feel they were rude. We can be covid-safe while remembering customer service. It's when we go overboard that we lose the battles. Client comes to see a specific dentist, and also does not necessarily like the front desk either as they keep telling her she can't follow the dentist (who switches between two offices) and that she has to choose an office and stick with it. Her money her choice, you know?

    Absolutely awful place. Nickel and dime on people. Waited for 20mins for the assistant and another 20mins for the doctor. They were trying to force deep cleaning service on me and simply refuse to do general cleaning first bcos of some crazy insurance billing. So I have to agree to pay $250 first then they will clean my teeth. I wasted 1.5 hrs came out with nothing done. Unbelievable. Never again.

    Completely unprofessional. They are just here to take money from you as well as from Insurance company without doing treatment they sent big bills to Insurance company and trying to make us fool.. Ridiculous..

    Excellent care here. Very professional while still being hospitable. They answered any questions I had honestly and made sure I was comfortable. Went in for a preventative filling and they made short work of it. The way they worked together let me know I was in the hands of seasoned professionals.

    Dr Zainvi helped with my chronic and complex dental needs. I was referred to her by multiple friends and family. Her patient centric approach means she knows who you are, what your specific concerns and needs are, and keeps the connection well past the procedure to ensure you are doing well.
