    Roderick Place was named COO of InterDent in 2017 and assumed Co-Leadership as Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Mr. Place has extensive experience transforming private equity backed healthcare companies through his strategic leadership, focus on operational excellence, clinical leadership collaboration, and structuring of field operations and corporate support teams. Mr. Place is also accomplished in leading boards and executive teams through expansive growth in mergers & acquisitions, DeNovo, due diligence and market consolidation. Before joining InterDent, Mr. Place served in executive level operations roles with Western Dental, MedQuest Associates and Alliance Healthcare. Mr. Place is also the Managing Director and Co-Founder of MedSummit Solutions, LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Grand Valley State University.

    Matthew Wickesberg joined InterDent as EVP/CFO in 2016 and assumed Co-Leadership as Executive Vice Chairman two years later. In 2019, he was further elevated to Co-Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wickesberg is an experienced board member, executive officer, and lender with a deep background in multi-site hospitality and healthcare industries. He is also experienced working with lending institutions and private equity firms through structuring capital, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, and uncovering portfolio synergies. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Wickesberg served in various senior finance roles with HOA Restaurant Group, ZTejas, Inc., and GE Capital. Mr. Wickesberg received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oklahoma State University and his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

    Dr. Heather Hawkins has committed her career to patient care while understanding current healthcare trends and value-based comprehensive care. Dr. Hawkins has an expansive clinical, academic and operational background, including leading medical-dental integration as well as quality and risk management for multi-site healthcare organizations. After 12 years of practicing general dentistry, she expanded her skills with several key roles in academia. In 2012 she joined the team at Adventist Health in Northern California, a multi-site health care organization with over 5,000 medical and dental staff physicians, as the Director of Quality. In her leadership role there, Dr. Hawkins led expansion and integration across the health system with medical and dental clinic management and an emphasis on comprehensive care models addressing patient risk factors, active disease and preventative measures. Dr. Hawkins earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certification from Virginia Commonwealth University.

    Dr. Manu Chaudhry has dedicated his career in the pursuit of dental health care, improving clinical quality and access to care, and transforming delivery of care to improve overall health outcomes. He is a dynamic and mission-driven leader with extensive leadership experience over multi-region dental practices, and has also founded multiple collaborative organizations that reduce oral and overall health disparities. Dr. Chaudhry is a board member of Healthier Kids Foundation and holds a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific.

    Sandra Lau is a seasoned legal adviser with over fourteen years experience acting as General Counsel of multiple dental healthcare corporations. Ms. Laus responsibilities include advising executive management, supporting strategic growth initiatives, overseeing all aspects of the corporate legal function including HIPAA, state and federal regulatory compliance, corporate transactions and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and risk and litigation management. Before Joining InterDent, Ms. Lau served as General Counsel at Western Dental. Ms. Lau holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Marymount University.

    Bernard Piccione has extensive experience across a wide range of industries delivering complex enterprise-scale information technology solutions to achieve major global business value and objectives. Mr. Piccione excels at driving sustainable business growth through IT modernization, solution development, and global transformation initiatives while building strong partnerships to better leverage technology solutions. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Piccione served as CIO for Ingenuity Advisory Partners, Inc., Complex Care Solutions, Inc., and MagnaCare. Mr. Piccione holds a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from Boston University.

    Darrin Kellaris is a senior marketing executive with over 20 years experience specializing in digital marketing, social media, and brand strategy. Mr. Kellaris offers a record of success in creating and driving marketing strategies that strengthen revenue, margins, and market share by elevating brand authenticity and relevance. At InterDent, he leads all aspects of marketing including digital and social media, brand positioning, and performance analytics. Prior to joining InterDent, he led marketing efforts at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and IHOP. Mr. Kellaris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State University.

    Diane Stern brings almost 20 years of dental services organizational experience specializing in organizational design and strategic partnering. Ms. Stern is responsible for Human Resources planning and strategy for recruiting, retention, benefits and performance management. She built her HR leadership experience through roles at Coast Dental, PrimeCo Wireless Communications and LabCorp where she focused on employee programs to increase engagement and satisfaction along with operational efficiencies. Ms. Stern holds a Bachelors degree in English Literature, Education, and Business from the University of Tampa and volunteers at KMR Group Foundation.

    I have gone to this office three times in six months. Each time they have exceeded my expectations, from initial greeting, evaluation, plan, and execution of the plan to get me back on track to a healthy mouth and smile. These are professionals, but they deeply understand that connection and communication are just as vital as expertise. They make difficult tasks as painless as can be. They get the paperwork done correctly. My work done in a timely and expert way. I am a person here, not a number. This is my experience, and from the look of others I have seen while I was there, it is the same for them. Go here ! Well done

    This location staffs are rude even my hygienist she told me im late but if they sends me every locations i went and if they were late i was patiently waiting. Most of their staff are rude!billing in the desk is horrible i called before i came in she still charged me my another balance after i asked before i came in. Now I specifically asked because people like me who pays for mg ride and in a budget cant afford to visit dentist and its not my job to call and send it to my dental insurance.then after she swiped my card she told me i will be out of my coverage for the end of the year now i am fine and aware but just not say it as if u dont care for people as ordinary like me. So i will cancel and end my dental work here i gave them a chance but not for me anymore i am not happy.

    Wonderful staff; friendly, efficient, more than competent, and caring. They always ask if I have any questions, communicate clearly and effectively, and even made followup calls after an extraction and bone graft to make sure everything was okay and if I had any further questions. The staff live up to the name Gentle Dental, always ensuring your comfort and safety far better than I have experienced anywhere else.

    Unfortunately we have had a series of bad experiences. I asked them to cancel the last appointment when they made me other appointment with endodontist which they did not. But only good thing nowadays over there is the hygienist that is the reason we still hung around otherwise we would have left long time back.

    New patient appointment was 40 minutes delayed so it took almost 2.5 hours for an exam/cleaning. Went back a few weeks later for a filling and was 15 minutes "late" due to miscommunication on their end, the only appointment verification they did was calling MY WIFE instead of me two weeks before my appointment. Never contacted the ACTUAL patient about it. Then they couldn't proceed with the appointment because the doctor needed the entire time for the fillings and couldn't make ANY adjustments to fit me in as he was leaving for vacation. No openings left for the entire year. Then the receptionist got an attitude when I was frustrated about the situation after just working a 16 hour overnight shift at the hospital and blamed it on my wife for not communicating with me properly about it. Awful. Do not recommend.

    I've had billing issues with the Tigard branch so I decided to try Progress Ridge instead. I called and scheduled my appointment for a filling two weeks ago, they called multiple times to confirm the appointment, and then today (the day of my appointment) they call me to tell me that I have to reschedule the appointment 40 minutes earlier because the dentist has a meeting DURING my appointment. If they had at least let me know a couple days in advance I may have been able to adjust my time off at work that I scheduled, but telling me SIX HOURS before my appointment is beyond unprofessional and shows a lack of care for the patient's time. It is sad that after two years this company's administrative problems have not been fixed.

    There Billing is a joke . Always get charged more after I leave. After I confirm There is no balance. Then months later miraculously I owe more money. Stay away from this place. They also lost There best dentist went and started his own practice.

    I would recommend this dental office. Dr. Greenstein is very personable and competent. He explains everything in advance and all follow up information. I am pleased with the work he has done on my teeth. The office personnel are very efficient and really nice to work with. I found nothing negative to report on any of my visits.

    I've been going to Gental Dental for about a year and a half now. I started my braces process through them and they have been so helpful and patient. Every time I walk in they greet my family and I with a smile. They are always on time. They are all so sweet.

    First of all, we have had good experiences with the hygienists and dentists. This is my issue: my appointment was rescheduled twice due to scheduling errors on the office's behalf. They informed me of the fact that no hygienist was available after I made work arrangements and had to put off cleanings for over a month. I am already nervous about the dentist and this made it much worse. They would not do anything to make up for my stress and how I had to keep rescheduling work priorities for appointments they kept changing. One appointment wasn't even at the right clinic. I do not recommend gentle dental to others.

    Every time I have gone to this location for an appointment, all of the staff are so friendly and nice! They take their work seriously yet they are lighthearted and playful and make me feel comfortable being there. They answer all of my questions thoroughly and are very knowledgeable of all things dental - obviously! I have had no issues scheduling appointments and am given ample notice and reminders. I highly recommend Gentle Dental, particularly this location!
