SCAMMERS. Update years later. They keep sending a lab test bill to me when i never had the test done. These people should be reported for malpractices What else can i say? Not only was i charged for procedures and supplies that normally are used free of charge. But the work i payed for wasnt even complete. I went in for tooth pain. Was told the plan. Which included removing an infection before doing a root canal. When they were finishing up they had an assistant finish drilling my temp crown for fitting. While it was in my mouth. Which caused major pain and it broke multiple times. 4th times the charm. Maybe if the dentist liscened to do dental work did it. It would have been right the first time. After that i was bassically held hostage until i payed or got a plan worked out. But they wanted the full plan payed. I managed to convince them i would only pay for the work done. And i was gone to a family freind who owns their own practice. Not only dis he say that the dentist should have been doing the work. But they risked my health by allowing an assistant to use powertools in my mouth. He also stated that the infection wasnt thoroughly cleaned correctly and before he could do a root canal he would need to remove any infection that the should have been removed already.the new dentist then stated that the previous dentist didnt adequately carry out the procedure as needed. When i called to cancel the appointment with gental dental they tried to convince me i was liable to pay for the entire treatment. But when i mentioned a lawyer they imediately said i was confused and that i wouldnt be paying for anything i didnt already receive in treatment. they were just telling me i had to pay for everything before i mentioned the lawyer though. After showing the new dentist the old dental plan from the previous dentist. He stated that there were charges on the plan that are usually carried out for free. As they only take a few seconds to preform with tools they already have out. This place charges for everything and they dont even do a thorough job when it comes to dental work. Wanna get your moneys worth? Go elsewhere. Thank me later when you find a dentist that actually cares about your health and well-being. Dont come here!!!!!! UPDATE: now im getting a bill for service i never got. They wont be getting it from me. DONT COME HERE its a nightmare.

I was having extreme tooth pain & called and made an appointment because this was the dental office my insurance assigned to me. When I walked in the office the staff seemed confused and almost annoyed that I was there. They informed me I made an appointment through their call center and they weren't aware I was coming in. I was taken back to get a panoramic done but the machine was down. The Dr. then came in and looked at my tooth for about 2 seconds without an extra light or any tools and said I needed the tooth to be removed and wasn't going to prescribe me any medications. I told her I was in immense pain and really preferred to have medications so she wrote me a prescription for Tylenol Codeine and Amoxicillin. I scheduled to have her, a dentist, take out my tooth the following week. This was odd to me considering the pain I was in and the fact I had ever only had my teeth pulled by an Oral Surgeon. The next day my pain was somehow worse. I went to a different dentist office that informed me my mouth and tooth were very infected and I should have been on a stronger antibiotic from day one and was shocked the initial Dr. didn't see the infection. I was in extreme pain for 4 days before having an oral surgeon remove it. I'm giving 2 stars because the staff ended up being polite after their initial reaction, however I still believe if the first Dr. I saw at Gentle Dental Office would have taken the proper time to see the infection I could have avoided unnecessary pain and medications. Will not be returning.

In June of 2020, I had an extraction for prepping to have implant, it was not a good experience, I was shaking and scared to death. It was a difficult extraction and I received no reassurance etc from the dentist (who is the lady). I did not return till today 4-29-21 because of the last experience. I received no call or reminder of any kind, but put big girl pants on and went to them today. Two reasons 1) follow up and proceed with implant 2) I felt my crown was loose, they took x-ray of space for implant and after reminding them I also came in because of crown, they took 2 more pictures. Had financial lady come in and told me it would be over $2100 after insurance. Then dentist came in and told me it would be better if she didn't look or touch crown because it could create more problems!!! What???? So to sum up visit, I had 4 x-rays (which was unnecessary, but will bill insurance greatly for that service) and told me how much my share of implants and scheduled appointment. Now the dentist never once inspected or looked in my mouth, after not being seen since June of last year, having a complaint of possibly a loose crown. Plus as an added bonus, I spent an hour and 20 minutes there. Needless to say, I will not return and hopefully they read this and take it to heart. The dentist is a very scary place and people that work in this profession should have empathy and compassion and if not you should think about a different profession.

Total Fraud! Avoid at all costs! No written or printed price quotes (verbal only) provided during consultations so they could more than triple the price of the (previously verbally quoted) co-pay amount on the day of the procedure. Then they wouldn't let you leave until paying a cancellation fee if you back out. In a previous appointment, they charged us $133 co-pay for a procedure (simple cleaning) that is usually covered 100% by our previous Dental PPO provider. And we were not told of this charge until AFTER the procedure so we had no choice but to pay. I would give 0 stars if possible.

went for a treatment several months ago, I receieved a quote and proceeded with the treatment plan. Several months after the completed treatment I get a bill for an additional $140 that was not originally on my quote. Tried to dispute it saying it was not on my quote to begin with, but the office said I have to pay it.

I took my 1q year old daughter for an orthodontist treatment, for as long as I had insurance and her phase one was being completed staff, dr, and service was going great. Dr left the office and staff started to change to the point that not on every appointment the staff was the same. Appointment issues started to arrise ( appointment bookings were wrong and noone bother to call patienent, or not booked for that matter). Then to say that least after my daughter's phase one was done her 4 front teeth were perfectly alligned and within a fee month one of her teeth started to shift, at that time they wanted to charge me for replacing a retainer several times when it apparently it had originally been done incorrectly. 4 retainer later I am told that because she WILL have to do into phase 2 no matter what. No retainer will be able to fix that tooth. So all the money spent on phase one has just gone down the drain. THANK YOU, gentel dental.
