    Roderick Place was named COO of InterDent in 2017 and assumed Co-Leadership as Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Mr. Place has extensive experience transforming private equity backed healthcare companies through his strategic leadership, focus on operational excellence, clinical leadership collaboration, and structuring of field operations and corporate support teams. Mr. Place is also accomplished in leading boards and executive teams through expansive growth in mergers & acquisitions, DeNovo, due diligence and market consolidation. Before joining InterDent, Mr. Place served in executive level operations roles with Western Dental, MedQuest Associates and Alliance Healthcare. Mr. Place is also the Managing Director and Co-Founder of MedSummit Solutions, LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Grand Valley State University.

    Matthew Wickesberg joined InterDent as EVP/CFO in 2016 and assumed Co-Leadership as Executive Vice Chairman two years later. In 2019, he was further elevated to Co-Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wickesberg is an experienced board member, executive officer, and lender with a deep background in multi-site hospitality and healthcare industries. He is also experienced working with lending institutions and private equity firms through structuring capital, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, and uncovering portfolio synergies. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Wickesberg served in various senior finance roles with HOA Restaurant Group, ZTejas, Inc., and GE Capital. Mr. Wickesberg received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oklahoma State University and his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

    Dr. Heather Hawkins has committed her career to patient care while understanding current healthcare trends and value-based comprehensive care. Dr. Hawkins has an expansive clinical, academic and operational background, including leading medical-dental integration as well as quality and risk management for multi-site healthcare organizations. After 12 years of practicing general dentistry, she expanded her skills with several key roles in academia. In 2012 she joined the team at Adventist Health in Northern California, a multi-site health care organization with over 5,000 medical and dental staff physicians, as the Director of Quality. In her leadership role there, Dr. Hawkins led expansion and integration across the health system with medical and dental clinic management and an emphasis on comprehensive care models addressing patient risk factors, active disease and preventative measures. Dr. Hawkins earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certification from Virginia Commonwealth University.

    Dr. Manu Chaudhry has dedicated his career in the pursuit of dental health care, improving clinical quality and access to care, and transforming delivery of care to improve overall health outcomes. He is a dynamic and mission-driven leader with extensive leadership experience over multi-region dental practices, and has also founded multiple collaborative organizations that reduce oral and overall health disparities. Dr. Chaudhry is a board member of Healthier Kids Foundation and holds a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific.

    Sandra Lau is a seasoned legal adviser with over fourteen years experience acting as General Counsel of multiple dental healthcare corporations. Ms. Laus responsibilities include advising executive management, supporting strategic growth initiatives, overseeing all aspects of the corporate legal function including HIPAA, state and federal regulatory compliance, corporate transactions and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and risk and litigation management. Before Joining InterDent, Ms. Lau served as General Counsel at Western Dental. Ms. Lau holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Marymount University.

    Bernard Piccione has extensive experience across a wide range of industries delivering complex enterprise-scale information technology solutions to achieve major global business value and objectives. Mr. Piccione excels at driving sustainable business growth through IT modernization, solution development, and global transformation initiatives while building strong partnerships to better leverage technology solutions. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Piccione served as CIO for Ingenuity Advisory Partners, Inc., Complex Care Solutions, Inc., and MagnaCare. Mr. Piccione holds a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from Boston University.

    Darrin Kellaris is a senior marketing executive with over 20 years experience specializing in digital marketing, social media, and brand strategy. Mr. Kellaris offers a record of success in creating and driving marketing strategies that strengthen revenue, margins, and market share by elevating brand authenticity and relevance. At InterDent, he leads all aspects of marketing including digital and social media, brand positioning, and performance analytics. Prior to joining InterDent, he led marketing efforts at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and IHOP. Mr. Kellaris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State University.

    Diane Stern brings almost 20 years of dental services organizational experience specializing in organizational design and strategic partnering. Ms. Stern is responsible for Human Resources planning and strategy for recruiting, retention, benefits and performance management. She built her HR leadership experience through roles at Coast Dental, PrimeCo Wireless Communications and LabCorp where she focused on employee programs to increase engagement and satisfaction along with operational efficiencies. Ms. Stern holds a Bachelors degree in English Literature, Education, and Business from the University of Tampa and volunteers at KMR Group Foundation.

    When I first made the appointment, the woman at the front desk was helpful. My complaint is that the office's requirement that you put down a deposit to "hold" the spot is way too much (100 dollars). I called the office three days before the apt as requested to cancel. I thought the deposit would be returned within 3-5 days, but I was never given a specific date when I canceled the appointment. When I called back to talk to the office manager, I was abruptly informed that she had to get authorization to give me my money back and that I would get a call within the next week with more information. I don't like to complain, but in the current economy, $100 is a lot of money. I am a full-time student living off one income with children to feed. Why do they need permission to give me back my money when I followed their office's cancellation rules and never rendered service? Sadly, I will never recommend this office or the company.

    To remove a temporary front tooth cap and install a new cap was quoted $1,958.00 plus the $140.00 I paid for the office visit . Basically they were having multiple people show up so they could pick and choose and they only had one dentist working when I showed up for my appointment , the dentist lied to me and I do not recommend this place .

    Sheree in the front office is amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable in all aspects of dental practice. Dr. Hahn did a beautiful job with a cosmetic filling and my Hygenist performs periodontal deep cleaning. All in all a very effective office and personnel. Five stars

    Went in for an emergency wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Hossieni the oral surgeon took care of me right away. Pain free and doing well. He is the Dentist that other dentist go to for dental care. I would recommend him to family and friends. Thanks to the whole team for their gentle care and professional attention to details. God bless you all!

    New korean doctor Christopher Han has no regard for autistic adults. Rude, sarcastic. Manager said she would talk to him but got no apology from him. I don't feel safe around men and he made me feel unsafe. I won't be back. Long time client and they could careless about a safe environment for me.

    I was extremely nervous about going under general anesthesia and getting all 4 wisdom teeth removed. The staff and oral surgeon made me feel extremely comfortable and helped me relax! You hear horror stories about the recovery process but my recovery has been amazing! I've had close to no swelling and no pain. I would definitely recommend.

    I'm always a little nervous going into getting dental work but the team put me at easy right away and made me feel very comfortable and safe. My treatment went great and was painless! I highly recommend them and the Gentle Dental team.

    Dr Garber is outstanding! I didn't feel any pain or discomfort. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! If you are in need of a root canal or extraction no better dental office out there

    I was first referred to Gentle Dental from my sister. Who received a $100 off for the referral. Yay! The staff is warm, friendly and welcoming. This past visit I had the pleasure of being greeted by Desi who was the receptionist. She did an expedient job of checking me in and having me fill out some minor paperwork. Desi also went above and beyond by helping me find out exactly where I should pick up my prescription. I'm new to AZ and couldn't remember which CVS I went to previously, thanks Desi. After being checked in I was greeted and escorted by the Dental Assistant Ashley to the office where all the magic happens. Ashley and I had some enjoyable small talk and banter while she prepped me for the Dr. There is a lot of California Love in this office, I enjoyed that being from Los Angeles. Dr. Garber was the icing on the cake. He had a cheery disposition. Also most importantly his hands move like a hot knife through butter. The route canal was so smooth I could have fallen asleep in the chair. Overall it was an effortless experience and I would recommend the service. Get on down to Gentle Dental and let them nurture your teeth to their best health.

    Root Canal are two words no one wants to hear. I sure didn't. But Dr. Garber, the team; from Desi at the front desk to Ashley, Maria and Oscar, the experience was, dare I say, pleasant. Dr. Garber explained the procedure as we went along with a sense of humor. I was completely relaxed. If ever you need a Root Canal, Dr. Garber and his team are where to go. Thank you everyone.     Gentle Dental was anything but gentle. I was referred to the oral surgeon at the Peoria office for an extraction. His bedside manner was non-existent and he barely spoke to me. Just before he began my procedure he said to the assistant, "let's do this, I've got a plane to catch. People to see, teeth to pull. " I felt like a piece of meat on a conveyer belt. I was nervous when I went in but was scared to death when I left. I ended up walking out and will not return.

    First time at this facility. Everyone was very kind, caring and friendly. The procedure was painless and quick. After the initial exam before the procedure Dr Garber explained throughly what was found and the plan of care. Dr Garber was concerned throughout the procedure of my comfort and pain. Oscar the assistant was very kind and excellent in everything he did. It was a painless and wonderful experience for a root canal.

    Had a root canal and only felt a tiny pressure with the first numbing injection. The staff was so friendly and amazing! They made sure I had no questions and offered to explain everything to me. The doctor was funny and made me feel at ease. Hopefully I won't need another root canal but definitely coming back here if I do. 10/10 would recommend.

    From the time I walked in 'till I left, the hospitality never wavered. Great staff. They were really informative. They took the time to explain what it was that they were about to do every time they came in the room.
