After many years of mistrust and anxiety of dental procedures following a negative experience abroad, I was fortunate to finally locate a great dentist. At the age of 13, an inexperienced doctor extracted my recently erupted molar, leaving me with an incomplete dentition. I am finally ready for dental surgery following a consultation with Dr. Itskov. Through his professional demeanor, sympathetic attitudes toward the issues of his patients, and friendly smile, he helped me regain my trust. I have only good words to describe my experience with Gentle Dental. My appointments were always on time and all the members of the team are friendly and very professional. Dr. Leonid Itskov always going above and beyond to make sure that everything will be done the best possible. He even called me the next day to make sure that I'm doing well!

Gentle Dental holds true to their name. They are kind, compassionate, and gentle with their patients. I usually despise going to the dentist but this was by far one of the best experiences I've had in a dentist office.

I highly recommend Dr. Itskov. Here is why. I am very particular about choosing physicians and especially dentists as I'm pretty scared to go to the dentist. For the last 10+ years I have been going to a dentist in NYC I was very happy with and I was familiar with. However, due to Covid he retired and I really wasn't looking forward to travel to the city. I found Dr. Itskov through these same Google reviews and he really proved to be a fantastic dentist. He is very professional and clearly cares for his patients and providing top notch dental service. He combines dental knowledge, aesthetic execution and bedside manner. His assistant is great and so is his front desk staff. The office is clean and that's something I find very important. Another plus is that the cost is provided for the patient upfront so you know exactly what you will be paying. And on that same note, I really appreciated that no one tried to sell me anything.

Of all the dentists that I have attended, I have never seen a doctor like Doctor Itskov , all the patience and dedication he had when treating me and not only that he explained dental care, I recommend them the staff is care and helpfull.

Dr. Itskov and his staff are welcoming, knowledgeable professionals that make the dental process feel quick and easy. They are friendly, gentle and patient as well. I've had a problem with one of my molars for about 11 years. I've gone to dentist, periodontist, ENTs and no one in all these years, found the problem until consulted with Dr. Itskov. I called and explained my discomfort and his staff was able to scheduled for that same day.
