DO NOT GO HERE. This place is a complete money grab. They charged my husband out of insurance for "reading his X-rays" that THEY forced during the visit! I was so upset to hear how pushy they were that I forced him to get a second appointment at another dentist in Exton and they told us that gental dental exaggerated, if not completely lied, about a small cavity that they said needed IMMEDIATE SURGERY. please be careful, they will add extra, unnecessary, out of insurance charges without even telling you and rush you into surgery you might not even need. Beware !!

Always a pleasant experience and I hate going to the dentist. Staff is very nice and attentive. Dr Valentine takes extra time to calm my anxiety. Highly recommend.

Canceled on me the day of my appointment. Didn't have an appointment for 6 months. Then at the appointment scheduled 6 months later, they gave me the wrong time and wouldn't take me again. Only offered a reschedule for January 2023. Terrible, don't waste your time here.

Update: I've called a few times to ask if there were cancellations. After receiving a response to my review I called and they gave me an apt next week. I still don't think this is good scheduling practices so although I appreciate them getting me an apt, I think there is SO much room for improvement. ------------------ Back in November (6 months ago) I made appointments for my son and I right after our cleanings. Today I got a call that I need to reschedule my cleaning and the earliest they can see me is NOVEMBER!?!!!! Freaking November. That's outrageous! It's called a 6 month cleaning for a reason. You do it every 6 months, not a year! And because of my particular insurance I cannot just GO to another dentist, I have to call the insurance company and switch dentists, then wait until they receive some "roster" saying I can go there and then make an apt. And I can't even do that until after my son has his appointment next week. ***I see another person left a similar review a month ago, so clearly you guys need to figure your scheduling out. So ridiculous! My husband needs a crown- let me guess, you guys can't do that until November too?

Scheduled an appointment 6 months ago because that is how far out they were scheduling at the time. You decided to notify me 2.5 business days before the appointment that I would have to reschedule another 6 months out. I would have appreciated the knowledge that the hygienist, who quit the practice, was unavailable when you knew. Trying to keep a regular cleaning schedule is absurd when it takes 12 months to get an appointment. I will not be using this dental practice again. I would strongly advise finding another dentist if you are considering this one.

Do not go here. Awful dentist, did nothing for my swollen/irritated gum. Pushed X-rays on me while being pregnant and refused to do a cleaning on the bottom tooth where the gum was inflamed. I did not ask for a full cleaning, just something to help with the inflammation. So rude. Felt very rushed and had no solutions for me.

Raven has gone above and beyond answering any questions I have regarding my family's dental issues... and trust me, I have had MANY! She's shown patience and empathy towards any issues we've had. She's even assisted us in finding the correct dental insurance provider that ended up saving us a lot of money. Additionally, she was able to get him and my son last minute appointments in recent months. She is so well informed and professional. She truly is an asset to Gentle Dental and look forward to seeing her for appointments.

Best dentist and staff in Chester County for all dental needs. DR. Valentine is personable and always friendly and efficient in everything she does. All the staff are very knowledgeable and always work hard to make your dental experience wonderful .

Nicole and her assistant Raven were great as usual. As a team they both go above and beyond for you. Dr. Valentine was very nice and took her time to answer all questions. The front desk girls are nice as well, thank you!

Dr Valentine is the worst dentist I have ever seen in my life. She is arrogant, never pay attention to my questions. She is always in a rush to leave and never give patient any time to ask questions and she likes to blame patients for the mistakes she made. This clinic used to have a great dentist who is my favorite, but unfortuntely he is gone in last year. I will never come back again.

Hygenist is professional, but I donot recommend Dr. Valentine. My tooth was filled unevenly, until now it is still one side higher than the other side even though she has already fixed mulitple times upon my requests. Her professional attitude is also questionable. She was constantly chatting with her assistant during my surgery and shows careless about me. Due to relocation, I moved from other state and have seen several dentists in those years, but I haven't seen any one like Dr. Valentine. Anyway, if you want regular maintaince of your tooth, the hygenist is recommended. If you want Dr. Valentine to take care of you, I suggest not to.

This is a well-run office. My previous hygienist left but I am fine with the new pleasant woman who replaced her. Happily the same dentist cares and oversees my mouth. This doesn't have the same warm and cuddly as a small private practice but consistency and professionalism have won my loyalty.
