I would give them a 0 if I could. They made appliances for my husband that don't fit correctly. They won't fit because some of his teeth were broken off and they didn't make the proper adjustments. Several thousands of dollars and 2 follow up visits later we are back to square one.

Not impressed. Dr. Rice didn't seem to be the most personable type, he didn't seem to be the slightest bit compassionate either. I told him that I was simply getting quotes and opinions from multiple dentists for the work I need. After the visit, he just went along to the front desk with me and proceeded as if I was down with the plan he had come up with for me and ready to schedule. Not only that but then I was hit with insurance problems (that would have been nicer to know firsthand or even weeks before when the appointment was made). It was also hard to communicate with the lady at the front desk, unsure why she couldn't understand what I had attempted to explain to her three times... Oh well. Dentists suck. Most of the ones I've seen at least.

Had to get a different dentist. This place has gone so far down hill with the rude phone calls and cancellations. They do NOT Care about their patients. Dr. Henry is a genuine guy but everyone else and since Dr. Flarity left is lacking big time. The final straw was cancelling my appointing with a chuckle at my displeasure, I had been rescheduled 3 times prior with months books out each time, a little genuine concern and compassion when someone is in prolonged pain having to wait month after month just to be told sorry we canceled your appointment yet again. I went to open door family dentistry and let me just say AMAZING place! They do fillings All in ONE appointment, multiple appointments available and a compassionate staff. Sorry NOT sorry I'm never coming back. Also note that they only respond to positive reviews and never comment back to the bad ones. (RED FLAG)

We got 3 appts in a row cancelled last min (2 the day of the appt) by the hygienist. The last one we received a dry phone call from one of the receptionists.. letting us know not only was our appointment cancelled but also she only had one option for us in terms of rescheduling, and it was such short notice (only 2 days away) at a time that did not work for us, and it was either take it or get booked months out AGAIN... Further more, they don't really explain things clearly and thoroughly regarding treatment plans going forward. This has left me feeling uncertain if I am in good hands or not. The staff (although friendly for the most part) seem like they're just going through the motions rather than coming off as genuinely caring.. it's kind of a stark contrast to our new dentist office, which we are very happy with.

Rude staff, rough treatment. Got a filling redone and it was worse after they worked on it. Went back in and they told me that was just as good as it gets. They've canceled appointments for no reason and with a multi month wait time that's pretty inconvenient. They take ohp so it's basically the only option for a lot of people. If you can go elsewhere, do that

I saw both Dr. Corbin Avey and dental hygienist Taylor, and they were both excellent. Dr. Avey saw some actinic keratoses on my face and asked if I was under the care of a dermatologist, and Taylor gave me the most thorough cleaning I've ever had in my 73 yearson the planet AND discovered a cavity on the back of a rear molar that was not really even visible on the x-rays! These guys are the real deal!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE Gentle Dental I've NEVER been to a dentist/orthodontics office that's been so caring and informative your whole appointment your treated like you matter with a smile. I've NEVER had a dentist/orthodontist that made me feel safe and heard like Gentle Dental did. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Gentle Dental for your dental needs you won't regret it.

So don't even try to go here. Here's my story. Made an appt months ago to be seen this Friday at 8 AM. They called and left me a voice mail yesterday (three days before my appt) telling me the dentist canceled my appt and to call back to reschedule. (I still have this voicemail.) Now first of all....you will notice in these reviews that they generally ONLY respond to positive reviews. That should be your first red flag. When they should focus on making it right with unhappy customers. Second, anyone reading this just give this a try.....call their number. The message will say if your a new client press 1. That'll take you straight to a loud call center. OR press 2 for existing customer which will ALWAYS take you to a voice mail. Don't even bother leaving a voicemail. I left four. As a lot of folks have in these reviews. Noone will ever call you back. Ever. When I spoke to someone in the call center (again, because i pressed 1), she tried to reschedule me for four more months later after I already waited two months for the appt they canceled on me! I asked if she had anything sooner. She then put me on hold for over 15 mins, came back on the line to tell me she was "transferring" me to the supervisor who could help me. (I didnt even ask for the supervisor) Except all she did was transfer me to the voice-mail you get if you press option 2. Noone called me back. Ever. I called Willamette dental. They were extremely nice, I talked to a live person. Got an appt for tomorrow. It's unfortunate they treated me and others it seems like this but again, they don't seem to care about making things right. Just ignoring all situations.

Mrs. Flaherty is the best dentist I've ever been too. The most painful experience I've ever had and she fixed my front tooth that made me feel a lot better about my smile I highly recommend this place to anyone that's looking

This morning I called this office 7 times, the first 6 calls went to a message asking me to leave my name and number and they'd get back to me. The 7th time I called, a man answered the phone, apparently he was from the main office in Portland's call center! He was not professional at all, trying to tell me I needed an exam and X-rays before they could diagnose what was wrong. He then put me through to the actual office where I was told that they were too busy to see me, they had 3 full rows of patients with only 1doctor and 2 dental assistants!! I reminded her that they advertised same day appointments and emergency visits!!!!!!! While eating last night my lower front crown, #24, came off. I needed it recemented, it's right in the front of my mouth so it is very visible. I worked in a dental office for about 43 years ( started when I was barely 16), I would never treat a patient in that manner. I'd do anything and everything to work that patient into the schedule! I would not recommend this office for your dental treatment!! Keep shopping around, get a referral from a friend or family member first. They advertise things they don't offer, if their schedule is booked, full, don't count on getting an appointment that same day. Unprofessional phone etiquette and all around attitude! KEEP LOOKING for a DENTIST NOT A GENTLE DENTAL OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! emf

2 stars due to old staff. I began coming here in 2015 the staff was wonderful Heidi was my hygienist Nima my doctor. Wonderful duo so kind gentle was the way they were through and through. They calmed every nerve every doubt and did so very graciously. New staff is nothing Like this. Unfortunately the new hires seem only concerned with pleasing the Dr. catty beyond belief. I miss my old Dr.

Dr Henry is a very honest and kind man But, ... The front desk never answers the phone with a live person. You get a voice recording to leave a message. I have left 3 over the past few months regarding a very painful tooth. I ended up getting on antibiotics and steroids for an infection that hurt from above my ear down to my chest. This can be very dangerous. It's not the doctor's fault but whomever is managing the office needs to change their methods. Now my dental insurance is no more so when and if I do see him it will cost me much more.

I really love my dentist there, I was recommended by a friend and found him to be a very exceptional dentist, however it is very hard to reach anyone on the one in the office by phone and the last time I came in for an appointment they booked me with the wrong dentist. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience the dental hygienist, who's name was Mary, told me I had been dismissed. She told me that repeatedly as I was trying to put the information for the correct dentist in my phone. I told her I was moving as fast as I could. I went to the receptionist to see if I could get on the wait list for the dentist I originally intended to see. The dental hygienist, Mary, followed me to the front and continued to tell me, "don't talk to the receptionist you have been dismissed," as if I was a child in middle school. She told me the manager would call me at 10 to rebook me. The manager never called me, instead after the 4 time of calling I finally got through and reached her. This is hands down the ugliest a health care provider has ever spoken to me in my life. I left the office in tears. I have never been motivated to complain to the board about a health care provider, but there's a first time for everything. No one apologized to me about getting my appointment wrong. I am still going back to see the dentist I originally booked, because its important to have a dentist you trust, but I did request to have zero interaction with the dental hygienist, Mary. There are nice people that work in the office, I would just try to avoid this particular hygienist.

Dr. Henrie and his assistants were excellent. It's the front desk people who need to work on improving their communication and customer service skills. They made a mistake on my account. Instead of having a 257.00 as balance, it went up to 362.00. For someone who is not making much, I was unhappy with this addition. But what irks me was how it was presented. There were no explanation about the 105.00 extra. I had to ask what it is for. They probably have a lot of well off patients who can just pay whatever they put on the paper, but what about someone like me? There were no apology about this mishap. Instead I was faced with rude staff. BTW, I'm aware that that 105.00 will not go away.
