Dr. Prabhjot Kaur received her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2004. After finishing school, she worked as an associate in New York for 4 years and then 4 years as MCD in Massachusetts. She then moved to Connecticut in 2013. She has spent much of her career providing dental care to children and enjoys making their trips to her office comfortable and fun. She is dedicated to making the patient experience truly outstanding.
Dr. Kaur is also a mother of two children. She is committed to learning all the new advancements in dentistry. She has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in different phases of dentistry. She has completed a mini-residency in the placement of mini implants. Dr. Kaur has a great passion for dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the CT Dental Association.
Dr. Kaur's goal is to educate her patients and provide excellent dental care. She believes that by using modern equipment and techniques, the dental procedures are not painful anymore. She has over 20 years of experience in general dentistry, cosmetic, and surgical procedures. She listens to the problems and concerns of her patients about their oral health and then provides them with an optimal treatment plan.

I arrived 10 minutes late to my appointment with rain and thunderstorm early morning and they couldn't see me I have never been to a doctor's office that doesn't have at least a 15 minute grace period. This is beyond ridiculous I need to find another dentist.

My dentist of nearly 20 years retired so I needed to find someone new. Dr. Kaur and the staff at Gentle Dental are great! They are kind, empathetic and efficient. X-rays get done quickly and my teeth feel super clean!

The office and dental staff were patient, helpful, and friendly. They recognized we had trouble with the stairs so escorted us down after the visit.

With the rating this establishment had, I was definitely not expecting such a negative experience. The doctor looks like she doesn't even know what to do when a child is upset and crying and she was not even friendly at all. Nothing in that place looks like a child's dentist. The assistant and the doctor were talking about brushing his teeth and acting like it's not normal for a 3 year old to not want his teeth brushed like why do you care for children when you can't be understanding? My child is not the only one who doesn't like his teeth brushed. I will NEVER go there again. You should be very friendly with children and make them comfortable... not scare them away, it's already scary enough even seeing all the equipment.

I and my entire family have been going to Gentle Dental for a few years. The entire staff is cordial, very pleasant and receptive. The dentists and orthodontists have always given us excellent care and they pay attention to detail .

I always have a fear from dentist.Dr.Kaur is really good and fortunately I enjoyed my visit.She explained everything in vey detail and planned my treatment very well.After my visit ,I am very motivated to take care of my teeth.

My aunt NEEDED new teeth, the exact specialty of your location, and for thousands that you have still stuffed into your pockets, you were horribly dehumanizing to her and failed to remedy what she trusted you to do. Again for thousands, and months without teeth waiting on you "custom mold dentures" that you had to get for her, the end product was so overly large that she couldn't talk. It was a gag in her mouth, and you said that it was her fault for having too big a jaw bone. You took measurements so and molds so that you could work around her natural mouth shape and features. Why are you getting paid when you sent my beloved sweetest aunt home with no teeth, because they are so comically large that she cannot eat with them. You faulted her and then shoved her out of your office, refusing to hear her complaints and ignoring the pain and inability to talk that the "custom" dentures caused. She now cannot eat real foods for years till she can get new ones. How dehumanizing, never go to gentle dental in Middletown CT. They do not care about you. You are pay, and nothing else. They are harsh to their patients and gentle with the laws of common decency. My poor aunt doesn't deserve this. You did this to her. Eat sugar honey iced tea served hot gentle dental.

I can not believe the disservice my sister received at this "professional" establishment. The "dentist" was extremely dismissive of any concerns brought to her attention, the dentures which were "custom made" to fit do not fit at all. The insurance company won't allow a new pair for years, leaving my sister with a useless pair of dentures and no teeth. I am convinced that this dentist is only concerned with money! Any compassionate, respectful, true professional would not let a person, a client walk out their door to face the world in such a manner. This place should be audited and investigated by the state for their clear negligence and severe lack of professionalism! One star is extremely generous!

My 4 year olds first time at a dentist and they were great with her wish i went here sooner and i also went the same time for myself and its been awhile for me and they were great compared to other dentists ive been to id recommend this dentist everytime they were very nice and they do lots of other work then cleaning and its convenient location

This was my second visit and it went well. The Office Administrators, Hygienists / Assistants and Dr. Are welcoming and kind. I'm pretty sure I found my new dentist. Just informational....anyone who cannot climb stairs, there is a flight of about 15 stairs to get to the office.
