    Roderick Place was named COO of InterDent in 2017 and assumed Co-Leadership as Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Mr. Place has extensive experience transforming private equity backed healthcare companies through his strategic leadership, focus on operational excellence, clinical leadership collaboration, and structuring of field operations and corporate support teams. Mr. Place is also accomplished in leading boards and executive teams through expansive growth in mergers & acquisitions, DeNovo, due diligence and market consolidation. Before joining InterDent, Mr. Place served in executive level operations roles with Western Dental, MedQuest Associates and Alliance Healthcare. Mr. Place is also the Managing Director and Co-Founder of MedSummit Solutions, LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Grand Valley State University.

    Matthew Wickesberg joined InterDent as EVP/CFO in 2016 and assumed Co-Leadership as Executive Vice Chairman two years later. In 2019, he was further elevated to Co-Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wickesberg is an experienced board member, executive officer, and lender with a deep background in multi-site hospitality and healthcare industries. He is also experienced working with lending institutions and private equity firms through structuring capital, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, and uncovering portfolio synergies. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Wickesberg served in various senior finance roles with HOA Restaurant Group, ZTejas, Inc., and GE Capital. Mr. Wickesberg received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oklahoma State University and his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

    Dr. Heather Hawkins has committed her career to patient care while understanding current healthcare trends and value-based comprehensive care. Dr. Hawkins has an expansive clinical, academic and operational background, including leading medical-dental integration as well as quality and risk management for multi-site healthcare organizations. After 12 years of practicing general dentistry, she expanded her skills with several key roles in academia. In 2012 she joined the team at Adventist Health in Northern California, a multi-site health care organization with over 5,000 medical and dental staff physicians, as the Director of Quality. In her leadership role there, Dr. Hawkins led expansion and integration across the health system with medical and dental clinic management and an emphasis on comprehensive care models addressing patient risk factors, active disease and preventative measures. Dr. Hawkins earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certification from Virginia Commonwealth University.

    Dr. Manu Chaudhry has dedicated his career in the pursuit of dental health care, improving clinical quality and access to care, and transforming delivery of care to improve overall health outcomes. He is a dynamic and mission-driven leader with extensive leadership experience over multi-region dental practices, and has also founded multiple collaborative organizations that reduce oral and overall health disparities. Dr. Chaudhry is a board member of Healthier Kids Foundation and holds a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific.

    Sandra Lau is a seasoned legal adviser with over fourteen years experience acting as General Counsel of multiple dental healthcare corporations. Ms. Laus responsibilities include advising executive management, supporting strategic growth initiatives, overseeing all aspects of the corporate legal function including HIPAA, state and federal regulatory compliance, corporate transactions and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and risk and litigation management. Before Joining InterDent, Ms. Lau served as General Counsel at Western Dental. Ms. Lau holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Marymount University.

    Bernard Piccione has extensive experience across a wide range of industries delivering complex enterprise-scale information technology solutions to achieve major global business value and objectives. Mr. Piccione excels at driving sustainable business growth through IT modernization, solution development, and global transformation initiatives while building strong partnerships to better leverage technology solutions. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Piccione served as CIO for Ingenuity Advisory Partners, Inc., Complex Care Solutions, Inc., and MagnaCare. Mr. Piccione holds a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from Boston University.

    Darrin Kellaris is a senior marketing executive with over 20 years experience specializing in digital marketing, social media, and brand strategy. Mr. Kellaris offers a record of success in creating and driving marketing strategies that strengthen revenue, margins, and market share by elevating brand authenticity and relevance. At InterDent, he leads all aspects of marketing including digital and social media, brand positioning, and performance analytics. Prior to joining InterDent, he led marketing efforts at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and IHOP. Mr. Kellaris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State University.

    Diane Stern brings almost 20 years of dental services organizational experience specializing in organizational design and strategic partnering. Ms. Stern is responsible for Human Resources planning and strategy for recruiting, retention, benefits and performance management. She built her HR leadership experience through roles at Coast Dental, PrimeCo Wireless Communications and LabCorp where she focused on employee programs to increase engagement and satisfaction along with operational efficiencies. Ms. Stern holds a Bachelors degree in English Literature, Education, and Business from the University of Tampa and volunteers at KMR Group Foundation.

    If I could give less than 1 star I would. Do not go to this dentist, you will regret it!! My son asked for suggestions on dentists as he needed a new dentist and he had just become eligible for insurance through his work a month prior. so he needed a dentist that took his insurance. I researched and came up with this dentist, from the reviews everything seemed great! My son went and then two months later he starts receiving a bill. At the time the Kirkland office had closed so he was sent to speak with the Redmond location regarding the bill, no result. That changed after month 6 and Kirkland was reopened so he went back through them, with still no result. It has been 7 months and today he just gave up and paid. The problem originally was they had the wrong member id number, they would update it and then the next month it was wrong again. The staff at this business have absolutely no interest in doing their job or putting in any effort to assisting their customers. Every time he calls they say they will look into it and call him back, for 5 plus months that is what has happened. He has never received one call back, not one. He has gotten to the point where he calls them weekly. They just tell him that the insurance won't work, they have not actually billed the insurance as my son has checked on this. The insurance company shows no submission from this company for payment. So today he calls and is told he didn't have insurance at the time of the appointment, which is completely false, so the bill is his responsibility. If he doesn't pay it they will send him to collections!! If you chose this dentist be prepared for no customer service, employees who cannot be bothered to do their job, and after many months of frustration you will have the pleasure of paying out of pocket for something that is fully covered by your insurance! BEWARE!!

    Dr Kote, her assistant, and front staff were awesome! I had scheduled for an dental checkup and cleaning appointment and they were able to squeeze me in a very short notice. There was no wait and the paperwork was a breeze and uneventful. I would specially call out Dr Kote's care, she was very friendly, knowledgeable and gentle with the procedures. Dr Kote had a very calming nature and was very patient and through to go over my problems and dental history. Her recommendations on my treatment plan was pragmatic, focused on problem areas and gave me options to consider as per my comfort. One important callout was she insisted to getting my past panoramic Xrays instead of getting new ones (as it would not have been covered under my insurance as it was less than 5 years ago), just shows her attention to detail and mindful of not performing procedures just to increase the bill. The care I received for my dental cleaning was top notch and i was comfortable all the time. The front staff was able to explain the billing aspects of the treatment plan and also followed up with me with insurance estimates for RCT and crown procedures. I would highly recommend the doctor and the new establishment.

    I have gone to gental dental for 3+ years and after my most recent visit I had received a bill in the mail for the full amount of the visit. I had called in to give them my insurance information again and asked them to please bill the insurance before sending me the bill. It has now been 6 months, I have spoke with Gental Dental Kirkland, bothell, and woodinville on over 10 separate occasions to try and get this resolved. To begin with I found out first off they had wrote my insurance information down wrong the first time and then the third or fourth time I called them to ask why I am receiving bills still for the full amount they said they spoke with my insurance and they "don't cover teeth cleanings". I later spoke with my insurance and they informed me they had never spoke with this dentist office before. I have now been informed by the manager of Kirkland Gental Dental that I should just pay the full bill since they will likely send this to collections if I don't pay it soon even though this has 100% been on them. They are now no longer returning my calls and I still have a bill that needs to be paid. Avoid Gental Dental at all costs!! I am now with another dental office that billed my insurance correctly the first visit

    We are overcharged for more than *1000* dollars for treatments because wrong insurance info is entered in Kirkland Gental Dental record. The front desk claimed the bill would be corrected but we hear **no updates after one month**. We think about reaching to her manager but the lady claimed she cannot provide the manager's info due to privacy. I think the manager does not have a work phone or email?

    Dr Vadi is such an awesome person and dentist . She is very friendly and has a very calming nature. Dr Vadi's assistants are great too. Highly recommend the doctor.

    Dr Vadi, her dental assistant, Stephanie, and her entire office staff are all in a word: INCREDIBLE! Hands down the best dentist I have been to over the years, as Dr. Vadi is truly compassionate and clearly knowledgeable and highly experienced. She and her team genuinely put the gentle in dental, and I couldn't recommend them more highly. I had a lot of work that needed to be done, (especially after prolonging the neglect during Covid!), and they broke down the number of appointments needed so as to have the work be manageable too. Dr. Vadi checked in often during procedures to ensure I was doing okay and was a refreshing reminder of what compassionate and caring service looks like! If you are in need of a dentist, she and her team would even be worth traveling the distance to come and see!! 5+ stars!!!

    The assistants and the doctor was amazing they work quickly and efficiently. I am usually nervous about going to the dentist but they have made the experience comfortable . The assistant dena was very quick and caring she was very sweet and always comforting me when I seemed nervous. Dr. Vadi was also very cautious and comforting making sure I don't feel the procedure . Thank you for providing great service highly appreciated.

    Today was the second time in the last year and a half that I showed up to a completely closed and empty office when I had an appointment (confirmed even that morning with the listed location via text and email). No one was there, no notice in place, no message or notification to say my appt was canceled or rescheduled. Nothing. I verified the location, date, and time through the confirmations and schedules I have. I'm going to attribute this to the ortho team (which I came to see) being a mobile team which jumps between locations every weekend. They're not actually part of the location's staff as I understand, but work within the same systems. As well, they have a long record of changing the resident orthodontist every 3-6mo, so you're seeing a new person with almost every appointment for the same treatment plan. If you're looking for orthodontic services, look for a place besides Gentle Dental (they all operate this way).

    It's always a great experience. The staff is very nice and courteous! The whole team has taken excellent care of me and given me a step by step plan to better my teeth. So far, I've seen great improvements and I recommend them to anyone who wants to give this place a try.

    Best dental office . Dr. Vadi is simply amazing, she is very friendly and pleasant which makes appointments go by easy. The whole team is very nice. The front office lady is also very nice and is very thorough in explaining all details.

    Dr.Vadi and dena made the appointment very great they both are experienced and made everything as comfortable as possible . The work was done gently and quickly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend coming to them for my dental needs they're a wonderful team and the communication they have together is great.

    Gentle dental really lives up to their name! The Staff is polite, communicative and very reassuring . The work was done very efficient and gentle . Will always come back for my dental work and definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family cause they make going to the dentist a better experience.

    I've been seeing Dr Vadi for a few years now and she is by far the best dentist I've been to. She is very professional and friendly. The front desk staff are also very friendly and efficient.
