    Roderick Place was named COO of InterDent in 2017 and assumed Co-Leadership as Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Mr. Place has extensive experience transforming private equity backed healthcare companies through his strategic leadership, focus on operational excellence, clinical leadership collaboration, and structuring of field operations and corporate support teams. Mr. Place is also accomplished in leading boards and executive teams through expansive growth in mergers & acquisitions, DeNovo, due diligence and market consolidation. Before joining InterDent, Mr. Place served in executive level operations roles with Western Dental, MedQuest Associates and Alliance Healthcare. Mr. Place is also the Managing Director and Co-Founder of MedSummit Solutions, LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Grand Valley State University.

    Matthew Wickesberg joined InterDent as EVP/CFO in 2016 and assumed Co-Leadership as Executive Vice Chairman two years later. In 2019, he was further elevated to Co-Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wickesberg is an experienced board member, executive officer, and lender with a deep background in multi-site hospitality and healthcare industries. He is also experienced working with lending institutions and private equity firms through structuring capital, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, and uncovering portfolio synergies. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Wickesberg served in various senior finance roles with HOA Restaurant Group, ZTejas, Inc., and GE Capital. Mr. Wickesberg received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oklahoma State University and his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

    Dr. Heather Hawkins has committed her career to patient care while understanding current healthcare trends and value-based comprehensive care. Dr. Hawkins has an expansive clinical, academic and operational background, including leading medical-dental integration as well as quality and risk management for multi-site healthcare organizations. After 12 years of practicing general dentistry, she expanded her skills with several key roles in academia. In 2012 she joined the team at Adventist Health in Northern California, a multi-site health care organization with over 5,000 medical and dental staff physicians, as the Director of Quality. In her leadership role there, Dr. Hawkins led expansion and integration across the health system with medical and dental clinic management and an emphasis on comprehensive care models addressing patient risk factors, active disease and preventative measures. Dr. Hawkins earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certification from Virginia Commonwealth University.

    Dr. Manu Chaudhry has dedicated his career in the pursuit of dental health care, improving clinical quality and access to care, and transforming delivery of care to improve overall health outcomes. He is a dynamic and mission-driven leader with extensive leadership experience over multi-region dental practices, and has also founded multiple collaborative organizations that reduce oral and overall health disparities. Dr. Chaudhry is a board member of Healthier Kids Foundation and holds a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific.

    Sandra Lau is a seasoned legal adviser with over fourteen years experience acting as General Counsel of multiple dental healthcare corporations. Ms. Laus responsibilities include advising executive management, supporting strategic growth initiatives, overseeing all aspects of the corporate legal function including HIPAA, state and federal regulatory compliance, corporate transactions and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and risk and litigation management. Before Joining InterDent, Ms. Lau served as General Counsel at Western Dental. Ms. Lau holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Marymount University.

    Bernard Piccione has extensive experience across a wide range of industries delivering complex enterprise-scale information technology solutions to achieve major global business value and objectives. Mr. Piccione excels at driving sustainable business growth through IT modernization, solution development, and global transformation initiatives while building strong partnerships to better leverage technology solutions. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Piccione served as CIO for Ingenuity Advisory Partners, Inc., Complex Care Solutions, Inc., and MagnaCare. Mr. Piccione holds a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from Boston University.

    Darrin Kellaris is a senior marketing executive with over 20 years experience specializing in digital marketing, social media, and brand strategy. Mr. Kellaris offers a record of success in creating and driving marketing strategies that strengthen revenue, margins, and market share by elevating brand authenticity and relevance. At InterDent, he leads all aspects of marketing including digital and social media, brand positioning, and performance analytics. Prior to joining InterDent, he led marketing efforts at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and IHOP. Mr. Kellaris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State University.

    Diane Stern brings almost 20 years of dental services organizational experience specializing in organizational design and strategic partnering. Ms. Stern is responsible for Human Resources planning and strategy for recruiting, retention, benefits and performance management. She built her HR leadership experience through roles at Coast Dental, PrimeCo Wireless Communications and LabCorp where she focused on employee programs to increase engagement and satisfaction along with operational efficiencies. Ms. Stern holds a Bachelors degree in English Literature, Education, and Business from the University of Tampa and volunteers at KMR Group Foundation.

    Jeffrey Lau is my Dentist. I highly recommend him and this location. Everyone here is sooo sweet and they do great work. I'm always a nervous person when I get teeth worked on but they reassure me every visit and make me feel super comfortable. That's always appreciated.

    i arrived at this gentle dental to have my tooth looked at with no appointment and i was a new patient. i waited only 30 minutes to be seen and had my tooth fixed the same day and was able to set up an appointment to be seen in a couple weeks for a new patient! this dentist office is great! i do not recommend any of the smile keepers in salem on lancaster as they tell you they can't see you till june next year!

    Fillings are rough, scheduled me out 3 months when I have a broken maxillary wisdom tooth that is continously scraping my cheek and making it hard to sleep, defineltey need a better policy/planner, I'd rather kill myself than wait 3 months for this to go away

    Same situation as lots of ther people on here. They cancelled my appointment after it had been scheduled for 2+ months even though I confirmed the appointment the day before. I took time off work for this appointment as well. They said the soonest they could schedule me was over 4 months from now. I have been there twice before and honestly everything was great. They just need to figure out why appointments are getting canceled. From other reviews on here clearly I'm not the only one.

    Absolutely horrible. I was offered an appointment sooner than my scheduled one. I had prior obligations and told them I would not be able to go to the new appointment. I called today all my appointments have been cancelled. The receptionist was very rude and even yelled back at me. I have been waiting for 3 months. My teeth and gums are infected. What has happened to compassion or even customer service. Very frustrating and I was treated horribly. Please if you have a chance find a dentist who cares and remembers your a person too.

    Dr. Lao and his team were incredible! I was so fortunate to be able to be seen last minute as a new patient :). I felt welcomed and am now excited to actually go to the dentist again.

    Kory, Dr Tidwell, and Laura were very helpful and really nice. They helped us out while being in between heath insurance and set us up with an appt to get the tooth pulled asap

    Going to the dentist isnt on my list of favorite things to do. But sometimes its the people at a dentist office that can make the experience so much different than what you might expect. The staff at Gentle Dental in Keizer is one of those places. After one of my fillings started giving me trouble, they were able to work around my work schedule and get me in on a Saturday! My filling was fixed quickly, the pain was minimal, the staff was exceptional, and the experience was a very pleasant one!

    Brought my 2 year old here for his 2nd dentist appointment. Dr Tidwell and Laura always do so well with my kids. The front office looks very nice after the remodel and the front staff is always welcoming.

    Amazing place to go! Seriously! I've been to alot of different dental offices, it's worth the drive to keizer. Dr. Tidwell, His hygienist Laura and the entire front office stuff are super warm and welcoming, really friendly too... They really do care about their patients here. Dr. Tidwell and Laura worked on my four front teeth today, and on my way home I got all emotional because they really did an amazing job and fixing all my front cavities and building my teeth back up to their beauty. Dr. Tidwell is super fast and gentle, he knows what he's doing! :-) I don't have a whole lot of teeth left, but am so very grateful for all the work they've done on me so far. It's amazing how having a better smile can boost ones confidence! Truly awesome people work here!

    Overall visit was amazing! The front office staff was very kind and professional. They went above and beyond helping me with my insurance issues and scheduling my future appointments. Both Dentist Dr Lau / Dr Tidwell are super kind and gentle.I would definitely recommend this location for your dental needs.

    I felt very frustrated at the lack of empathy shone to me concerning my tooth situation this week. The receptionist informed me that in spite of the emergency I might have to wait a very long time.She acted ike it was no big deal.that I would have to wait.

    Honestly, When I used to go here it was fine, but recently I had called and set up an appointment that I had to change, and while on the phone asked the person to remove my estranged parents number from my file, and I gave my phone number to contact instead. They said that they did that, and that I would get a reminder for my appointment to that new number. When the time came, I did not get a reminder, but when I showed up for my appointment, they stated they "called me and left a message that the doctor I wanted doesn't work mondays so I need to be rescheduled" I'm not sure why I was scheduled originally then, and even putting that aside, I asked what number they had called, and sure enough it was the parent that I had specifically told them while scheduling that I wanted removed from my account for safety purposes. I was very upset that this was disregarded, but I rescheduled anyways. When the new appointment date came, the highway I needed to take got shut down, so I would not be able to make it. I called three different times the morning of, spread out and at different times to call and let them know that I could not make it, but none of the calls were answered, and I also left a voicemail. I never received a call back.
