Dr Seaman is always pleasant and works hard to make sure you know what is needed and how to proceed. They always give you options and explain the pricing. I sometimes do the extras, but sometimes not....they don't pressure you. The front staff is always super pleasant. I always arrive on time for appointments and immediately get seen. I initially started to go here because my insurance had limited options, but I stay because I am always happy with the level of service. We would follow Dr. Seaman anywhere he goes if he ever leaves!

The entire staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Always willing to answer questions and help keep or get your teeth on the right track. I avoided going to the dentist for almost 9 years because of a bad experience, because of the staff in this office I no longer dread going! I appreciate everyone and special shout out to Britney for dealing with all of my whining & for being so kind/helpful. Thank you Gentle Dental crew, you guys are amazing!

If i could give 0 starts I would. I should have trusted the negative reviews. I went in to get a cleaning, and the dentist said I had to have a deep cleaning and refused to clean my teeth unless i got a deep cleaning. On top of it I received a bill 2 month later for services, I didnt get a cleaning, only xrays which is covered by my insurance, they did not even try make a claim to my insurance and refuse to do so. DO NOT GO HERE ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY! READ ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS THEY ARENT LYING!!!

Despite being the first appointment of the day, there is always a 15 min wait for each of my family members. The doctor also has been out of the office several times, either requiring us to wait until he arrives or skip the exam portion of the cleaning. Friendly but disorganized.

Brittany is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Horrible attitude, disorganized and was so nasty to me on the phone.

Asking for a root canal which I know I need. Have all the x-rays needed and insurance. Will not make an appointment for emergency root canal unless you have an initial exam appointment set up and then they'll schedule the root canal for God knows when. Receptionist had to put me on hold for each question about insurance, scheduling etc.

Horrible experience for all of our family. Had to switch dentists due to insurance downgrade. The office and hygienist staff spends most of the time gossiping, very unprofessional. Bad experiment. We will look elsewhere.

I am a dental chicken and had waited too long. I needed dentures. The extraction process was explained as was the replacement dentures. I felt literally no pain throughout the process. I couldn't be happier with the way I treated and the way they took care of my fears.

I've been coming here over 10 years and today finally got the push I needed to find a dentist closer to home. The hygienist was AWFUL and I had to walk out mid cleaning. She told me she was using a new tool which she clearly had no idea how to use. It felt like she was ripping my gums out of my mouth.

Just had a total dental experience. My teeth have never felt cleaner. Polished and freshened at its best. The experience was enhanced by the wonderful office people ensuring I had everything I needed. Happy Holidays to all.

The staff seemed to be inexperienced. I get my teeth cleaned twice per year and it always looks great at other dentists. I moved to Lenexa so tried Gentle Dental. Complete waste of money. They rushed me through, fumbled trying to do their jobs, and did nothing right.

I just switched to Gentle Dental due to moving and being unhappy at my previous provider. I was very pleased with how quickly I was able to schedule, as well as how smooth my appointment went. Although they appeared pretty busy when I was there, my dental hygienist, Kara, was thorough, explained everything to me as she did it, as well as educated me on what I could do differently... all while not seeming stressed or in a rush! I'm excited to go back!

In the past, I"d never had what you'd call a great experience at the dentist. No one really enjoys the trip and I can definitely say I didn't. But Gentle Dental has changed that for me. I still don't jump out of bed for it but I know I'm gonna be in good hands. I've had some major surgeries ( a root canal and other extractions while I was awake) along the way , and they have been amazing. My comfort always came first and I really didn't experience any pain besides the initial shot. And those will always suck! I've come to know most of the staff and they are always a fun and energetic bunch. I would recommend Gentle Dental and the location on 87th street in Lenexa specifically If you are wanting to get back in the dental game.

They do good work on teeth cleaning. However, I would look elsewhere for more advanced procedures. I got a few fillings from them. The moment they finished, he did something strange where he pushed down really hard on the filling, I think to create a gap? (He was anything but "gentle.") My teeth felt so crowded that I had to bust out my old retainer because my teeth were moving bc of the gap. The gap they created turned out to be so large that gobs of food would get stuck. I would floss and the amount of food coming out of that area was astounding. Right after the procedure, I had temporarily moved to living in Miami, Florida for a few months and manically flossing that area so I wouldn't get a cavity. A few months later, one of my other fillings next to the one they did came loose and floss would get stuck in the filling so I couldn't properly floss. I asked nicely for a refund for the shoddy work, but they kept stringing me along. I would call, explain the situation, they would say they are submitting the refund request to corporate and would call me back. They never call back. I did this about 5 times. One of those times, someone told me I needed to come in for an evaluation before they could refund me. (Which was news to me, this was not mentioned the other 4 times.) So I went in and they did an evaluation. They admitted to the error in the procedure and creating too large of a gap between my teeth. They approved a partial refund. Before I left they said they would call me to get the card info to issue the refund. Still no call. They did offer to fix it, but after such poor professionalism from the office staff and someone being so not "Gentle" with your teeth, they were the last people I wanted to touch my mouth. So if you are considering them for dental work, probably not worth the risk of this happening to you, too.

I went to gentle dental for the first time on Friday. Everyone is soooo friendly. From the front desk to the hygienist and the doctor. Each person is very personable and I enjoy the atmosphere. They took great care of my teeth.
