All around good customer service before I was even in there system the girl at the service desk remembered who I was which was sweet. I got to schedule a exam and cleaning in the same appointment. I couldn't get to the cleaning however that wasn't there fault when they called my name some rando booked in there before I could react and took my spot. But all around chill I'd recommend it

Old looking equipment..and instruments, im not sure i want to take a chance on that..didnt look sterile. The hygienist the older lady she must be around 80 was nice but very slow. I think she should leave room for a younger hygienist. I have insurance..but fees kept coming out of nowhere after my visits..so i agree a bit sketchy. The dentists that are listed on their website are nowhere to be seen. I think they just using their names..so you really dont know whose treating you. I gave 2 stars only for the receptionist Debbie. She was super nice and kind. But no I will no go back

So far so good. My first visit in a few years so there's a lot going on in my mouth but no soreness at all. A while back I did lose a piece of an old filling leaving a small hole on top of the molar. Dr. examined the ex rays, checkup w recommendations and quick temporary filling was greatly appreciated! I'll be following through with some of their recommendations for now but remember the patient has the final say on what they want done. One step at a time for me. Next visit is a cleaning...

I really dont get the bad reviews!! I know people sometimes get really difficult and demanding and always blame others. I went this morning for a cleaning and exam..first time patient and my experience was excellent! The moment i walked in, I was greeted and took care of to the end. The hygienist, Ms. Betsy did a great job cleaning my teeth!! I went to a dentist before, and told me i needed a root scaling, they wouldn't clean my teeth and they wanted to charge me like $800 with insurance. I come to Gentle dental.. they did not try to scam me like the other dental place and did my cleaning with no problem. Everyone were very nice, friendly and professional. The fact that they have some bad reviews and they don't reply, to my point of view is a positive thing. It means that they are "real". Many time Im asked by many business to write a review for them..and i find that as irritating and unprofessional as it can be. I read from another reviewer that they dont speak English..that is absolutaly false! Great place, great professionals I cant wait to go again!! By the way, dont trust places that have all good reviews..i found out to be the oppposite.

AWFUL! I just overheard a phone call between the receptionist and my grandmother, in which she continuously spoke over my grandmother, denied her requests and then proceeded to HANG UP on her! A professional hanging up on a client... never mind an elderly client who is looking for help with the services done at this establishment... unreal. I then called back appalled at the conversation, and Debbie was just as disappointing, unhelpful and difficult. If you value customer service and quality don't bother going here. Wish I could rate it zero stars.

The owner of this business, John Borches, is a THEIF! This business (and its sister offices in Venice and Ocala) owes thousands of dollars for crowns/bridges that patients are proudly walking around with today. This means they were claimed by this office to each patient's insurance company, then they received their money, and they NEVER paid the Dental Laboratory for their labor or the materials used to make their patients crowns/bridges!

My sister came here for braces like 3 years ago and after her ortho treatment was done her smile was beautiful! Now I am in braces and I can say that I can really see the difference from when I started til now, also got my wisdom teeth removed with Dr. Kalsow and he is amazing no pain or anything! Staff and Doctors are super nice I've never had an issue with anyone there.

they refuse to give me my $$ back after braces had to come off BECAUSE THEY MOVED MY TEETH TO FAST.. I had really bad gum disease and the braces should never had been put on in the first place. After about 2 surgeries and 3 scaling and many cleanings my teeth are way worst than when I started. I have more gaps and I literally cried when I got to car after having them taken off. I spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on perio and I am only asking for 1200 back for the ortho PART and they refuse. If you love your mouth stay far away. The owner even told me to get a lawyer because they are not giving me a dime back. It was the DENTAL ASSISTANT whole notice my teeth were super loose and not even the dr!! Over $5000 and now i have loose teeth and they dont care at all. I truly believe the good reviews are the staff..

I really do not recommend this place. Very little professionalism, dirty and of dubious health safety. The only goal is money, they call you for a free check and make you pay. 3 months before they give you a quote, 3 months later it changes radically. Stay away.

Lived in the area 22 years. I have been searching for a new dentist. I like my longtime one but due to the areas expansion and construction an easy drive has been made difficult. I see Gental Dental advertised in paper daily with low prices. In my experience any medical practice that heavily advertises with prices is suspect. Anyways I check their reviews and was astounded by the high number of very detailed negative reviews. All of them had similar negative experiences. A major red flag for me is the management has not responded to any reviews which shows a lack of interest in customer satisfaction. It seems in this area it's challenging to find quality health care providers who aren't just after your money.

Worst dental office experience ever. Mgr. came into X-Ray room without a mask; when I asked him to put one on he ignored me and proceeded to put his face right next to mine to make an adjustment. His arrogance caused them to lose $5,000.00 for needed dental work. Too bad, as the other personnel were courteous and efficient. F. Evans

Do not walk RUN RUN FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS DESPICABLE PLACE. They don't even SPEAK ENGLISH. THEY WILL HOUND HOUND HOUND YOU FOR THE PETTIEST AMOUNT, THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY. Nothing Gentle bout gentle dental... not impressed. Doctor was rude. Had a attitude. I know I am hard to do x rays on I know that. That's a given but to says I don't have bone structure for what I want. I would not recommend NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL it's in the middle of no where.

I agree with the rest of the recent interviews claiming this practice is extorting patients. The manager is rude to customers, the ladies working at the front desk are depressed and unprofessional, and worst of all they give unnecessary treatment not covered by insurance with no explanations. I was subjected to the same redundant extra cleanings as other patients because I haven't had a cleaning in just over 6 months. The doctor issued a panoramic x-ray not covered by insurance to treat 'major decay' before even seeing the patient. He walks in there just to poke around my mouth for 2 minutes and walks away claiming everything was well and only glanced at that x-ray that cost me almost $50 out of pocket. Why issue a panoramic x-ray and 2 bite wings on top of that? To scam me and my dental insurance? After all of this, they ended the deal by telling me that I do not have to right to complain. These people should be ashamed of themselves. I will be switching to another dental practice.

I was on vacay and chipped my tooth! My family recommended their family dentist, and I am so happy with how things turned out. I wish I didn't live so far as I would be very happy with coming back here.

DO NOT go here if you value an organization with integrity. If I could give less than a zero rating I would. 3 times the appointments were rescheduled with 6 hours notification! Seriously a TERRIBLE dental crew. (If they want to leave early every Friday, whey don't they stop scheduling appointments for 2:00pm on those days??) If you value your time, GENTLE DENTAL does NOT, so be sure to go elsewhere.

I wish more dentists were like here. I had pain and another dentist once told me the pain is in your head. Umm...yeah it IS in my head! Here the dentist wanted to make sure I was comfortable and pain free before continuing anything. very nice

This is a very friendly and professional office. I was seen promptly and the dentist was so kind and gentle. I could hardly feel his hands in my mouth. His exams was thorough and I could have my crown done immediately. I highly recommend this office and the capable staff.

Dr. Burne and everyone in the office treated me wonderfully. Dr. Burne's knowledge and experience put me at ease, and he is indeed gentle. I am very pleased with my new crowns!
