    Roderick Place was named COO of InterDent in 2017 and assumed Co-Leadership as Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Mr. Place has extensive experience transforming private equity backed healthcare companies through his strategic leadership, focus on operational excellence, clinical leadership collaboration, and structuring of field operations and corporate support teams. Mr. Place is also accomplished in leading boards and executive teams through expansive growth in mergers & acquisitions, DeNovo, due diligence and market consolidation. Before joining InterDent, Mr. Place served in executive level operations roles with Western Dental, MedQuest Associates and Alliance Healthcare. Mr. Place is also the Managing Director and Co-Founder of MedSummit Solutions, LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Grand Valley State University.

    Matthew Wickesberg joined InterDent as EVP/CFO in 2016 and assumed Co-Leadership as Executive Vice Chairman two years later. In 2019, he was further elevated to Co-Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wickesberg is an experienced board member, executive officer, and lender with a deep background in multi-site hospitality and healthcare industries. He is also experienced working with lending institutions and private equity firms through structuring capital, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, and uncovering portfolio synergies. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Wickesberg served in various senior finance roles with HOA Restaurant Group, ZTejas, Inc., and GE Capital. Mr. Wickesberg received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oklahoma State University and his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

    Dr. Heather Hawkins has committed her career to patient care while understanding current healthcare trends and value-based comprehensive care. Dr. Hawkins has an expansive clinical, academic and operational background, including leading medical-dental integration as well as quality and risk management for multi-site healthcare organizations. After 12 years of practicing general dentistry, she expanded her skills with several key roles in academia. In 2012 she joined the team at Adventist Health in Northern California, a multi-site health care organization with over 5,000 medical and dental staff physicians, as the Director of Quality. In her leadership role there, Dr. Hawkins led expansion and integration across the health system with medical and dental clinic management and an emphasis on comprehensive care models addressing patient risk factors, active disease and preventative measures. Dr. Hawkins earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certification from Virginia Commonwealth University.

    Dr. Manu Chaudhry has dedicated his career in the pursuit of dental health care, improving clinical quality and access to care, and transforming delivery of care to improve overall health outcomes. He is a dynamic and mission-driven leader with extensive leadership experience over multi-region dental practices, and has also founded multiple collaborative organizations that reduce oral and overall health disparities. Dr. Chaudhry is a board member of Healthier Kids Foundation and holds a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific.

    Sandra Lau is a seasoned legal adviser with over fourteen years experience acting as General Counsel of multiple dental healthcare corporations. Ms. Laus responsibilities include advising executive management, supporting strategic growth initiatives, overseeing all aspects of the corporate legal function including HIPAA, state and federal regulatory compliance, corporate transactions and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and risk and litigation management. Before Joining InterDent, Ms. Lau served as General Counsel at Western Dental. Ms. Lau holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Marymount University.

    Bernard Piccione has extensive experience across a wide range of industries delivering complex enterprise-scale information technology solutions to achieve major global business value and objectives. Mr. Piccione excels at driving sustainable business growth through IT modernization, solution development, and global transformation initiatives while building strong partnerships to better leverage technology solutions. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Piccione served as CIO for Ingenuity Advisory Partners, Inc., Complex Care Solutions, Inc., and MagnaCare. Mr. Piccione holds a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from Boston University.

    Darrin Kellaris is a senior marketing executive with over 20 years experience specializing in digital marketing, social media, and brand strategy. Mr. Kellaris offers a record of success in creating and driving marketing strategies that strengthen revenue, margins, and market share by elevating brand authenticity and relevance. At InterDent, he leads all aspects of marketing including digital and social media, brand positioning, and performance analytics. Prior to joining InterDent, he led marketing efforts at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and IHOP. Mr. Kellaris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State University.

    Diane Stern brings almost 20 years of dental services organizational experience specializing in organizational design and strategic partnering. Ms. Stern is responsible for Human Resources planning and strategy for recruiting, retention, benefits and performance management. She built her HR leadership experience through roles at Coast Dental, PrimeCo Wireless Communications and LabCorp where she focused on employee programs to increase engagement and satisfaction along with operational efficiencies. Ms. Stern holds a Bachelors degree in English Literature, Education, and Business from the University of Tampa and volunteers at KMR Group Foundation.

    I never post reviews because most of the time I don't see the point but I am so upset, first off I scheduled my appointment for a cleaning weeks ago to get in today when I get there they ask me if I have insurance which is very weird because they've been calling me for the past 3 to 4 days to get my correct insurance which I had given them two days ago so why would they be asking me what my insurance is when I walk in. She then proceeds to tell me that they haven't called my insurance and she was going to do that now at the time of my appointment after 30 minutes of me waiting while they're trying to figure my insurance information out that should have been done days ago or at least before my appointment I finally got up and left. I am so upset because I drove 30 minutes there to get a cleaning and with gas prices it's crazy and I left my baby for the first time to be so disappointed and irritated and just so unprofessional. I used to work at this dental office so I know how it works and I don't mind giving a little grace but this was just ridiculous and I will not be back ever.

    I just want to say what an AWESOME experience I had at Gentle Dental off of Ina Rd. When they created their name, they really must've been serious because that was the smoothest and most "gentle" experience ever. From the fervent and quick services of the dental assistant, Jessica Ceniceros. To the amazing attitude and care from the Hygienist, Victor, and not to mention the stellar performance by the Doc! Overall, had the most pleasant experience, and look forward to having Jessica Ceniceros and Victor help me again. Seriously, go see them they are soooo awesome!!!

    I've had excellent care with Gentle Dental :) 5 years and counting. From the minute you Check-In with the front office staff.     Dr. Burningham did a great job. Also his co workers are very helpful and friendly. The office is very clean. Most important to me is that they take appointments after 4pm. I definitely recommend this place.

    I do not usually do reviews but at this point I feel i need to. This is by far the worst and unprofessional dental office I have ever taken my son to. I work in healthcare and this is unacceptable. I scheduled my son's first appt back in September waited a few weeks and received a call that it needed to be rescheduled the Dr did not feel comfortable with Peds . I rescheduled the appointment for Beginning of October to be seen for a check up and then I received a call a week later saying that his appointment needed to be rescheduled. I then scheduled him for the middle of October finally got him seen and found out he needed fillings. I called and scheduled and appt for the end of October and I received several calls and texts saying to confirm appt. I did. I got to the office after driving 45 mins to the appointment to find out that they cancelled the appt because the Dr was running behind. I rescheduled this appt again for 11/22 and received a call that his appt was moved to November 22 at 12pm. I called on 11/19 to confirm the appt and it has again been rescheduled to 11/29 @ 12 pm. It has been over a month of me trying to schedule an appt to get this done for my son and have yet to do so. At this point I refuse to go back to this office. I would not recommend this office to anybody. The worse place!!!!

    VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They waited until the last minute to verify eligibility with my insurance. I drove all the way over there took time off work and they canceled my appointment last minute because of their own failure to do their job and check my insurance info.

    Had a great experience at Gentle Dental , staff is very friendly and quick to attend you. Got a full check up and will be returning to get more worked done on my teeth. Dr. Rodriguez was very gentle and made sure i had no discomfort what so ever while checking each tooth. Witch i was alittle nervous about since its been years since i last saw a dentist. LoL overall i highly recommend Gentle Dental On Ina. They are what the name says. (GENTLE) :)

    I had an appointment there not so long ago , and I highly recommend anyone that is trying to find a warm welcoming experience to make an appointment here . From the front receptionist Sam ( I might have her name wrong I'm terrible with names ) to the assistant David and Luis they all did a phenomenal job , very friendly and professional. Dr.Burningham did an amazing job as well. Again I highly recommend this dentistry to anyone, including family , seeking dental care .

    I googled dentists that have after hours appointments and Gentle Dental came up. It said on the website they have after hours. The girl that answered was flippant and barely able to understand. Her professional response was, no, no,no sorry.

    I came in with an emergency; a filling fell out of my tooth and it is also chipped. So I was in alot of pain. They referred me to someone else? And I asked for something for the pain and they gave me advil! Why cant I get pain meds for this pain! Everyone is not a drug abuser and i felt very profiled and did not like it. Now I am still in pain and have to see an oral surgeon. If I did that at my job I would be fired.

    I arrived for my appointment and the office was locked and no one was there. I had gotten 3 text reminders of my appointment, so I know it was the right day and time. I guess they forgot to call me to say they would be closed?
