The incompetence of this office/scheduling department is astounding! I have made several appointments for my daughter just to have them call me back the day prior to the appointment to cancel because they scheduled my 4 yr old to be seen by a dental hygienist instead of a doctor. This is the second time they had to cancel due to the same reason! Just a week prior to this appointment the office called me to confirm the appointment or else they would have to cancel. I called, I confirmed it and they confirmed it. Great... You would think they would have corrected that mistake from the prior cancellation due to wrong scheduling. Nooo, this place double down on their mistakes and does it again. They threaten me with cancellation if I didnt confirm the appointment, just to cancel my appointment the day prior. This is beyond unprofessional and infuriating! We will no longer let them waste our time and will not be returning. I hope the people who read this review value their time because this place will only waste your time. Customer service here is terrible.

My husband and I have been patients there for years, and recently moved, so unfortunately need to switch dentists. My husband has an extreme fear of the dentist, and hadn't been treated in quite some time when we first came here. The entire staff was courteous, friendly and accommodating. We both love Dr. Sheth; she is personable, knowledgeable and very professional. The hygienists and other staff are similarly excellent at their jobs- they helped us navigate insurance, and were all very respectful,

Gentle Dental.... nope, more like expensive excruciating pain Dental. This particular Dental office is not gentle at all, not with the patients nor with your pocketbook. Any and just about every time I went in for an appointment for a cleaning, I was told I needed a scaling. What is a scaling you ask? Well that's where they dig under your gums to clean your teeth. It is an extremely painful process requiring an anesthetic and is also a very expensive procedure even with insurance. This is a place I shall never return to.

This is where I brought my son for his first dentist appointment when he turned two years old. We've been there for each of his standard cleaning visits since then. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. My son had never been afraid to go and actually enjoys his time there. They give little golden coins for a dispenser machine that the kids can get little prizes from. The dentist and assistants have been great and great with kids!

My family has been with this office since 1999, and we have no plans to shop around for another provider. You have a consistent hygienist, which in my opinion is an even more important relationship than to the dentist. They offer orthodontist care, but there is no pressure if you decide to go outside for ortho. Front office staff is friendly and competent.

I arrived early to all 3 of my visits and they were able to see my early each time. I am always nervous about getting shots for fillings but didn't feel a thing. I highly recommend this practice. Edit: After 4 years I switched to another dentist due to repeated issues with the front staff. The Dentist was excellent but the front end staffing was a mess.

My partner went here for a cleaning back in October, and described their experience to me and I'm so livid that I need to write about it here, to warn other people to not use this dentist, especially if they're low income. Dr. Sheth was the dentist my partner ended up seeing, for a cleaning prior to wisdom teeth surgery. My partner was raised in abject poverty, and abject poverty tends to be a huge barrier for dental care in America. America is not a country where dental care is guaranteed, and what dental care IS available to the vast majority of people is completely insufficient. This dentist berated my partner for having cavities and supposedly "not taking care of their teeth." I'm going to go into why that's elitist, but first I need to explain why it's ableist. My partner has GERD. They have had it for 9 years. Because you're constantly throwing up stomach acid, it's going to wear down your enamel. My partner could brush their teeth twice a day, floss, rinse with mouthwash, and it wouldn't make much of a difference because they're literally throwing up multiple times a day, for years. Not to mention that good enamel is more of a genetic dice roll than anything else. I have excellent enamel, brush my teeth maybe once a day, am 32, and I've never had a single cavity. Because I brush my teeth only once a day, compared to my partner's twice a day, am I still the morally superior person because I didn't have cavities and they did? Do you see the flaw in this logic? Dr. Sheth, I am speaking directly to you- you owe my partner a sincere, heartfelt apology for the ableist way you addressed them when they came to you for care. We live in a country where healthcare, especially dental care, is not guaranteed. It is a luxury. If you can afford to drive to work, and afford to take care of your teeth, that is a privilege that the vast majority of Americans do not have. To imply a moral failing on my partner's part because they have cavities, when they have chronic illness and was raised in abject poverty and neglect, is so grossly elitist and ableist and has NO PLACE WHATSOEVER in healthcare. Shame on you and shame on your practice.

Recieved awful customer service at this Gentle Dental location. They refused to schedule me for an appointment and referred me to the Lake Oswego office. After multiple attempts they finally gave me an appointment. However upon arriving they told me my appointment had been canceled. Nobody called to notify me. I do not recommend this location to anyone.

One of the best dentists I have ever been to! Dr. Bogdan is calm and kind and Becky is funny and friendly! They do amazing work and are always patient and willing to answer my questions. I don't know how they do it but they are both amazing at their jobs and are rockstars!

Totally and utterly disgusted with the care I received here! Nice dentist, terrible manager. She's let me go two months with an infected wisdom tooth and couldn't even refer me to a place that could remove the tooth!! My insurance company let me know they have contacted her and gave her 4 different places to refer me to but she has refused to provide the information needed. I have had 4 different antibiotics and have a history of c-diff. I had a grievance filed today! This place does not truly care about their patients. Avoid this dentist.

Gentle Dental lives up to it's name. Dr. Bogden is knowledgeable, patient, and skilled. I hate having my teeth worked on, but after 5 years, I totally trust Dr. Bogden to do a great job. The front office staff have always been very friendly and helpful. The entire staff is top notch. Thanks for the great service! I will miss your amazing service as we are moving soon.

The dentist I had was nice. But kind of a get you in and out kind of way. I called on Friday begging for some meds and antibiotics because I KNEW I had an infection. They told me to wait until my appt in 10 days or a cancelation ti be able to see anyone. They wouldn't give me antibiotics but would send in pain pills. Guess what I picked up at the pharmacy?? Antibiotics and not Pain Pills. Get it together people. Which is it? Anywho I ended up at an emergency dentist the following day. He relieved my pain. Gave me the antibiotics I NEEDED (infections kill...I have a kid, kinda wanna live) and pain meds. He literally laughed when I told him I had gone to Gentle Dental. Oy. If that wasn't enough of a sign to not return back to GD lol.
