Dr. Kirkland graduated from University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 1999. Prior to dental school, he attended Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas for his undergraduate degree. Since graduating, Dr. Kirkland stays current on the latest technologies and techniques in the field of dentistry by taking more than 20 hours of continuing education courses a year. He has the same passion today that he has always had in serving and caring for his patients. His dedication to delivering quality dental care in a compassionate environment is appreciated by all of his patients.

Dr. Kirkland lives in Novi, Michigan. He enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Kirkland also enjoys camping, hiking, traveling, playing golf, skiing, and building and flying remote-controlled airplanes.

Dr. Despotis graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry. In order to provide the best possible care for her patients, she makes continuing education a top priority by regularly attending dental courses and reading relevant journal articles.

Dr. Despotis dental philosophy is centered on prevention and patient care. She practices in a thoughtful and caring way in order to diagnose and treat dental and periodontal disease. She works with each patient to determine all of their options so that they may achieve their dental goals. She spends a great deal of time listening to her patients concerns and educating them so they are able to make informed decisions regarding their treatment.

Dr. Wisckol graduated from the University of Michigan in 1986. After practicing in Farmington Hills, Michigan for 18 years, he joined the Gentle Dental team in 2007. He enjoys crossword puzzles, chess, golf, and gardening. He married his wife Maureen in 2002 and he lives a quiet life in Wixom, Michigan.

Lennie is a member of our Administration Team and serves patients as their Scheduling Coordinator. She has been with the office for over 23 years. Lennie has over 40 years of experience in the dental field. Patient care is always her top priority. One of her favorite parts of her job is enjoying second generation patients and feeling as though we are all one family. Lennie has been married to her husband, Rick, for 47 years. They enjoy camping with their grandchildren and are avid Detroit Tiger Fans.

Leann is a vital part of our offices Administration Team, serving as the Patient Coordinator. She has been with the office for 23 years. She enjoys working with the patients and feels many have become like family. In Leanns spare time, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.

Nina joined the Gentle Dental Family Dentistry team in 2008. She has worn several hats in our office but has found her perfect fit in the Administration Team as a Patient Care Coordinator. Nina strives to make each patients experience with our office as pleasant and stress-free as possible. In her spare time, she enjoys spending lots of quality time with her family and watching Michigan State Football. Go Green!

Pat has been with Gentle Dental Family Dentistry for over 30 years. Pat is always willing to assist patients. She helps patients navigate their insurance and answers any of their insurance questions. Pat has been married for 53 years and has three adult children. Pat lives downriver and has a small farm with many animals. She loves the outdoors and spending time with her husband and grandchildren.

Theresa is a recognizable face here at the office, with over 20 years of experience in the Gentle Dental Family Dentistry practice. She has three daughters who attend St. Charles School in Newport, Michigan. Theresa is very active in their school, coaching both volleyball and softball. She enjoys going to the Hollywood Casino with her husband of 19 years. She prides herself on thorough patient care with a personal touch. She cherishes the relationships she has built with her patients over the years.

Flo has been with the Gentle Dental Family Dentistry team for over 12 years. She graduated from the University of Detroit in 1983. She has been married to her husband, Chuck, for 20 years. They have two teenage children. In her spare time, Flo enjoys coaching her daughters sports teams and going to concerts with her family.

Tracy is a full-time Dental Assistant and has been with our office since 2009. She has been an Assistant for more than 26 years. Tracy works with Dr. Kirkland and his three associates. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the patient and doctors needs. When shes not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching Lions and Michigan football.
