Dr. Michael Onyekaba (Dr. Michael) was born in St. Paul and grew up in the northern Minneapolis suburb of Andover. He received his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota. Then he decided to head out east to Boston, where he received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
While at Tufts, he received training in general dentistry, oral surgery, periodontal disease, restorative dentistry, crown and bridge, implants and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minneapolis District Dental Society. Dr. Michael lives in Minneapolis. He enjoys sports, being social, outdoor activities, running, and spending time with friends and family.
Mary is a licensed dental assistant and our #1 front desk/receptionist. She has been in the dental industry since 1990 and started with Gentle Dental Eagan in September of 2013. She and her husband live on a turkey farm south of the cities. Her hobbies include helping out her two daughters, combining in the fall (yes...she drives the combine), helping around the farm, gardening (she has two greenhouses), and going to her cabin in the woods. She is an avid Purple Martin enthusiast with multiple houses that she monitors daily.
Kaitee is a 2011 Century College graduate in dental assisting. She genuinely cares about her patient's needs and their oral health. She strives to provide a comfortable environment and maintain the standards that Dr. Michael has in place. She takes great pride in her ability to help deliver fantastic results for her patients. Outside of the office, Kaitee enjoys spending time with her husband and their five children, sporting events, the outdoors, scrapbooking, and when time permits, coffee and a good movie on Netflix.
