Dr. Zopf was born in Port Jefferson, Long Island and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. After receiving her undergraduate degree in biology from Florida State University, she completed her lifelong dream of becoming a Health Care Provider at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2001. She followed her degree with a General Practice Residency at Columbia University Presbyterian Hospital.
She is a gentle and caring female dentist whose friendly style has won the hearts of many adult and child patients. She has studied extensively in the areas of cosmetic and esthetic dentistry. Dr. Zopf is a member of the American Dental Association, Suffolk County Dental Society, and New York State Dental Association.
I wanted to help people. Id originally intended to go to medical school. Two weeks before the dental admission test, I realized that dentistry was what I wanted to do. Being a dentist allows me to help people smile, feel good, and be healthier.
The people! I love interacting with patients and educating them. I work in partnership with my patients and empower them to make good decisions about their oral health. Its rewarding to see patients, who come in with fear, leave surprised that their experience was not painful. I like changing patients expectation of dentistry and helping them understand how dentistry can prevent future problems.
Dr. Savita B Sharma is a New York native. She grew up in Queens and currently lives in Nassau County, Long Island. She knew she wanted to be a dentist at a young age and has made her dream into a reality. She loved dentistry so much, she went to dental school twice! Once right after high school, she went to an international program. And afterwards, at her dream school Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. After completing dental school Dr Sharma attended General Practice Residency at Nassau University Medical Center.
Dr. Sharmas dental philosophy includes education, prevention, and pain relief. She prides herself on her empathetic, gentle approach and puts patient comfort above everything. She is a general practitioner who is always taking continuing education classes to better herself. Dentistry is always changing and newer, better modalities come everyday.
I knew I wanted to go into healthcare; science has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I initially intended to go in Medical School but realized that dentistry was her true calling. I decision that I am forever thankful for.
I love making a positive change in someones life. Teeth can greatly affect a patients quality of life and I believe everyone is deserving of that. Another highlight of my career is taking away a patients pain. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a patient come in with pain, and leave without it. The relief in their eyes is fulfilling enough.
Dr. Tamburro was born and raised in Huntington, New York. After receiving his Bachelors degree in Biology at Stony Brook University, Dr. Tamburro pursued a Masters in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University Downers Grove, Illinois where we would then continue to complete his degree in Dental Medicine in 2018. Dr. Tamburro then went on to pursue additional education by completing his General Practice Residency at NYU Winthrop University.
Dr. Tamburro is a compassionate and gentle dentist who enjoys even making the most apprehensive patient smile. Dr. Tamburro continues to stay updated in all phases of dentistry including general, cosmetic, surgery, and enjoys working on adults and kids. Dr. Tamburro is a member of the New York State Dental Association, Suffolk County Dental Society, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
I wanted to become a dentist ever since I was a child. Due to my mother being a dental hygienist I used to go into work with her and shadow the dentist. I developed a passion for helping people which I carried throughout my life. I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare and dentistry allowed me to do so.
The most satisfying part of dentistry to me is a patient who comes in and the first thing they say is I hate the dentist or I am so nervous about being here and then they leave with a smile on their face and are excited to return. I enjoy motivating patients and giving them the best experience possible!
I enjoy spending time with my family and my niece who just turned 1 years old! I enjoy traveling and have been to over 15 countries and always want to explore more. I also enjoy hiking and cooking. My girlfriend and I try a new restaurant almost every week so if there are any suggestions for good places to eat please let me know!

Terrible experience. Doctor refused to see me because I was 14 mins late. When asked why, I was told by front desk staff that it was because I didn't answer the phone earlier in the day when they called to try and move my appointment earlier. Seems like I'm being retaliated against and the doc is more interested in going home early than seeing patients and providing care. Had been going here for almost 10 years. I'm now looking for a new dentist.

Best dentist ever! I don't have insurance but they always treated me the best, honestly I had so many dental issues and also some anxiety after getting my wisdom teeth pull out but even front desk made me feel very comfortable they treated me like a baby recommended to anyone :)

Excellent pediatric care for my young girls, ages 5 and 3. The hygienist was very kind, sweet, patient, informative and knowledgeable. She made the experience for them calming, comfortable, happy and fun. Thank you for taking such great care of them and explaining so many things to me I didn't know! And the doctor came in quickly, did what she had to do with grace and precision and the girls didn't even realize they were being checked out lol! What an amazing experience! Thank you!!!

*UPDATE* Unfortunately, their billing department chose not to work with me to rectify an oversight with an insurance issue cause by themselves, and was NOT to my fault. They billed incorrectly in unison with another orthodontic practice they sent me to (for extra oral surgery), and was denied their claim when the other practice billed ahead of them, so they asked me to pay out of pocket for their mistake and when I refused they booted me from the practice. BEWARE of billing issues here*** I needed a new dentist closer to home after I moved. I looked locally first, found this practice and after carefully researching reviews and reading how most people enjoyed this practice, I made sure they accepted my insurance and made an appointment in advance. Definitely got more out of it than I expected. I was welcomed fairly quickly, spoken to as if I was family, given a thorough explanation of my evaluation. We all talked about kids, music, life.... and I left with such a satisfied, positive experience. I am so glad to have found Dr Amy and Gina and the staff. Thank you all!

We have been working with this very professional Dental office for several years. ALWAYS, the service that was rendered was friendly, competent, verry professional, no hidden facts or costs. All diagnoses are arrived at carefully and accurately (!) and discussed upfront and in detail, so the patient is completely on board with the entire treatment strategy. Without any hesitation, I strongly recommend this dental office, especially to someone who may have had a less-than-perfect experience elsewhere in the past! No need to be nervous or apprehensive! You too will also recommend this team!
