Dr. Christopher Hooper is a dentist at the Gentle Dental Center of Virginia Beach. He is a lifelong Virginian and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology from James Madison University. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgeryfrom the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA.
Anthony Martin, DDS, is a Hampton Roads native. Hegrew up in York County, where he graduated from Tabb High School. He earnedBachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech. Go Hokies! Dr. Martin earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry.
Dr. Kallie Moorefield was born and raised in Louisiana, a state that prides itself on hospitality. She hopes the Southern girl in her makes patients feel welcome and at ease when they come to her for treatment at Gentle Dental Center. She earned a BS from Louisiana State University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Hooper loves to help patients improve their self-confidence by creating beautiful smiles. His special areas of interest include cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and full mouth smile make-overs. He is well-known by his patients as the dentist with the gentle touch. Dr. Hooper finds one of his favorite aspects of dentistry is to observe his patients priceless expressions when they first see their new smiles. He also values working with his excellent partners and the great staff at Gentle Dental Center.
Dr. Hooper is a published author/national speaker. He is an active member of the OKU Dental Honor Fraternity. Dr. Hooper is on the Editorial Board of Dental Product Shopper and was a former Associate Clinical Professor MCV/VCU.

In 1998, Dr. Martin decided his next venture would be to open his own practice in his hometown. Thanks to his hard work and dedication, he can bring all aspects of cosmetic, reconstructive and general dentistry to the Hampton Roads Area. With his experience and expert skills, he is honored to help Hampton Roads citizens achieve the smile they have always wanted.
Dr. Martin is a Member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association and the Peninsula Dental Association. Dr. Martin is a loving father to Cooper and Brooke Martin and adoring husband of Dawn Martin. In his spare time, he is an avid sportsman, hunter and fisherman.

Dentistry first intrigued Dr. Moorefield because of the favorable work/life balance it provided. However, it didnt take long for her to realize how fulfilling the profession can truly be. Dr. Moorefield genuinely enjoys getting to know patients and helping them achieve their oral health goals! She especially likes providing restorative treatment that has an immediate impact on a patients smile and confidence.
Dr. Moorefield loves that she has the capability to change a persons self-esteem, not just their smile. Her goal is to create a comfortable environment for her patients where they can express their concerns without feeling apprehensive. Dr. Moorefield wants to provide a transparent treatment plan to patients so that they can make an informed decision about their oral health.
Despite her passion for travel, Dr. Moorefield loves the Virginia Beach area, especially how close she is to the beach. She likes hanging out at the beach and going to local festivals. Her favorite thing to do is hang out with her husband and her children anywhere.

They most certainly were "gentle," both in manner and procedure to me. They made clear efforts to be as pleasant and respectful as possible. The administrative assistant was pleasant. I am grateful to them for their courteous treatment and their proficiency in dentistry. They valued me as a patient. Thank you all for the respect.

I made an appointment last month on May23th at 9am. I had took time off from work and waited for almost three week for this appointment,. and Front desk Nicole called me around 7 am on the day of appointment telling me we need to reschedule for another appointment because the dentist got sick. so my appointment is due today on June 9th at 3:30 I did same thing I took time off from work. I called gentle office to let them that I can't find my previous X-ray , and I told Nicole that my insurance should cover my X-Ray . she told me she will find out and she will let me know. she had called me and telling me my insurance isn't within their network. I had provided her my insurance last month and told me the office take this kind of insurance. at last minute she is telling me they don't take my insurance and I had missed 2 days of works and some other things. I am not happy and disappointed in this unpleasant and unprofessional behavior:(:(:(

Front desk stuff are so nice but the nurse took me X rays 2 times they are not experts,they on training and too nervous. And especially Dr Hooper didn't even explain dental problem or not willing to answer your questions or discuss or nothing. So weary and .Trying to be so nice but He is not . Not happy at all . Nope

Staff friendly but also look like they were in training but nothing was done he looked at my ex rays but never even looked in my mouth ..ive never been to a dentist that didnt look in your mouth ...si im walking around with no bridge and didn't even try to fix my bridge for a short time solution and nothing for the sensitive pain because of tooth exposed..not happy at all

Dr. Hooper is the best hands down. While living in the middle east I would travel back to VA for my cleanings. Only dentist I am willing to go to for the past 28+ years. Can not say enough great things about him or his staff.

Worst Dental office known to man!!! Dentist insisted I needed a root canal that ended up being a piece of food WOW a piece of food mistaken for a root issue and who refers for a simple root canal? And the cleaning by the hygienist was horrible! She was not friendly and had a funny smell! She hurt my mouth with way too much pressure during ning the cleaning. Will never go back!

The worst experience that I'm still living with ..i was taken advantage of until my insurance ran out I'm still with temporary teeth since 2016 .and I had two dental insurance ..i have been with broken teeth since then ..i was never told the truth ..these are the result since 2016 and I can only get new teeth in 04/2021 my insurance only pay every 5 years and only if they are not reusable ..i have to pay out of pocket ..they used up both of my insurance then they refuse to help me I been without t working teeth for almost 5 yrs ..my confidence is so low

I have always had terrible experiences at the dentist, so I have been avoiding them like the plague! However I went to Gental Dental and it was nothing short of a miracle!!! No pain, no surprises, talked me through anything that I had concerns about prior to them diving into my mouth with a bunch of tools! Hands down the best dental experience I have ever had! The staff was amazing and a special thAnd you to Sunny...you are amazing! Would give 10 starts if I could!

I play hop scotch between Gentle Dental Holland and Konikof LynnHaven. Gentle Dental is great I came on Halloween around the time they first opened up so I could get out of work and Sunny was in character as a Baseball Empire got my teeth rejuvenized hadn't been to dentist in a while. A couple a years ago I met with Dr Hopper he is amazing he pulled out my upper right wisdom tooth like a triple OG lickidy split than came out his doctor coat in a tank top great experience. Receptionist is cool to and I love there lobby with baby sodas and water. Dr Hopper I might see you this week for my upper left one brother. Not looking forward to the bottom one in surgery down the line.
