Dr. Kallie Moorefield was born and raised in Louisiana, a state that prides itself on hospitality. She hopes the Southern girl in her makes patients feel welcome and at ease when they come to her for treatment at Gentle Dental Center. She earned a BS from Louisiana State University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Hooper loves to help patients improve their self-confidence by creating beautiful smiles. His special areas of interest include cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and full mouth smile make-overs. He is well-known by his patients as the dentist with the gentle touch. Dr. Hooper finds one of his favorite aspects of dentistry is to observe his patients priceless expressions when they first see their new smiles. He also values working with his excellent partners and the great staff at Gentle Dental Center.
Dr. Hooper is a published author/national speaker. He is an active member of the OKU Dental Honor Fraternity. Dr. Hooper is on the Editorial Board of Dental Product Shopper and was a former Associate Clinical Professor MCV/VCU.

In 1998, Dr. Martin decided his next venture would be to open his own practice in his hometown. Thanks to his hard work and dedication, he can bring all aspects of cosmetic, reconstructive and general dentistry to the Hampton Roads Area. With his experience and expert skills, he is honored to help Hampton Roads citizens achieve the smile they have always wanted.
Dr. Martin is a Member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association and the Peninsula Dental Association. Dr. Martin is a loving father to Cooper and Brooke Martin and adoring husband of Dawn Martin. In his spare time, he is an avid sportsman, hunter and fisherman.

Dentistry first intrigued Dr. Moorefield because of the favorable work/life balance it provided. However, it didnt take long for her to realize how fulfilling the profession can truly be. Dr. Moorefield genuinely enjoys getting to know patients and helping them achieve their oral health goals! She especially likes providing restorative treatment that has an immediate impact on a patients smile and confidence.
Dr. Moorefield loves that she has the capability to change a persons self-esteem, not just their smile. Her goal is to create a comfortable environment for her patients where they can express their concerns without feeling apprehensive. Dr. Moorefield wants to provide a transparent treatment plan to patients so that they can make an informed decision about their oral health.
Despite her passion for travel, Dr. Moorefield loves the Virginia Beach area, especially how close she is to the beach. She likes hanging out at the beach and going to local festivals. Her favorite thing to do is hang out with her husband and her children anywhere.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. I'm terribly scared of the dentist since having a terrible experience years ago. Gentle Dental is my new dentist office. Everyone was so sweet, friendly and patient. They weren't bothered that I asked so many questions, they were so gentle, told me everything that was going on and continually asked if I felt OK.

Had an emergency that no one else could do till July. They squeezed us in and handles it quickly. These ladies are amazing. Dr. Kallie is so calm and efficient. Moving all my children to this practice

Dr. Martin saved my mouth and my sanity, literally. As a pregnant patient new to the area, Gentle Dental was actually my second stop. Originally, I was seen by Green Meadow Dental and was told I had 7 cavities and needed a heavy duty treatment. I take pretty good care of my teeth and was in disbelief. I also was hesitant to get this much work done before delivery. Frantic about the prognosis, I called Gentle Dental that afternoon. They got me in quickly and now, I will be a patient of theirs for life. Dr. Martin is an all-star, I honestly can't thank him enough. He did an extremely thorough but gentle exam, and his bedside manner was beyond what you would expect. He felt like a family member, trusted and sincerely invested in my well-being. I appreciated how seriously he took pregnancy and caring for his patients. After his exam, he took the time to show me literally every single tooth with a camera and explained why it was healthy. I appreciated this because even though I hoped for better news, I wanted to be sure I wasn't ignoring any issues either! His prognosis was that I had one minor cavity that could wait to be filled until the baby was born and my mouth was in overall a very healthy state. I teared up in the office because I was so appreciative of him. It wasn't just about receiving good news, it was about knowing I could trust in the care I was recieving, which was very juxtaposed from my visit with Green Meadow. Thank you Doctor Martin for saving me from damaging 6 healthy teeth! I truly appreciate you as a dentist and person. You're a godsend.

Very clean, nice staff and they even go the extra step at Gentle Dentle! It's hard to find the right dentist especially when we move every few years. So glad I went with my gut and came here! My are thanking me! Lol

If you are looking for a cozy, clean & cheerful atmosphere, Gentle Dental in Landstown, Virginia Beach is the Dentist for you! The staff is very welcoming & will help take care of any issue you may have going on! Keron was friendly & accommodating upon my arrival & departure. Terry was the sweetest & gave great advice while performing my teeth cleaning. Good vibes all around- highly recommend!

Gentle Dental Center Landstown is hands down the best dental office ever!! The receptionist is really nice, always answering any questions I have and very welcoming as you come into the office. The dental hygienist ladies are wonderful and made me feel very comfortable where I have anxieties getting work done. Dr. Moorefield is also very kind and nice, works gentle and makes me feel I'm in good hands . She answered all and any questions I had as well as explained things to me on the x ray. I just love this dental office and highly recommend

The staff was amazing from my initial call to the actual visit. My son needed a cleaning and experiencing tooth pain resulting in him being unable to eat. After his visit, he has been able to eat, sleep with minimal pain meds. I am so grateful to Gentle Dental

The staff is always very pleasant and they run on time. I recently had a lot of sensitivity with an old filling that was replaced and they kept working with me until it was feeling better. My kids (10and 6) also like coming here.

I have despised going to the dentist for as long as I can remember. Since I started going to Gentle Dental at Landstown in 2020 it's not been bad at all. I am one of "those" that had begun grinding their teeth at night and broke three fillings this year. I have been to GD so often this year, I feel like I should be adding them to my Christmas shopping list. I love Dr. Anthony Martin and his sense of humor. Karen, the receptionist is great, easy to work with and the hygienists are all very kind. The place is immaculate. It is definitely a game changer when it comes to dental care. My advice, don't put off going, it just makes the situation worse.

Gentle Dental (Landstown location) has been my dentistry for a few years now. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. This has been instrumental for me since my cancer diagnosis. Simple and easy equals less stress. They are attentive to my needs and have always given me the best care. Aside from my normal cleanings, they have assisted me with teeth whitening and answered questions about cosmetic procedures. You should definitely give them a try!
