Dr. Yadverinder Singh, originally from West Hartford, Connecticut, attended the University of Connecticut as an undergraduate where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. His enthusiasm and passion for the sciences led him to pursue a career in dentistry, where he obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Connecticut. After receiving his doctorate, Dr. Singh completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Brookedale University Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. After completing his residency, Dr. Singh decided to bring his expertise back to Connecticut.Dr. Singh is highly dedicated to continuing education and lifelong learning in order to provide his patients with quality treatment using the latest techniques. He believes in creating an environment where patients know that they are receiving dental care from someone who truly cares about them as an individual. He is known for his gentle and caring touch along with his ability to make you feel calm and comfortable. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has received post-graduate training in orthodontics, implant placement and restoration, and cosmetic dentistry. He is experienced in all facets of dentistry including, but not limited to, extractions, bondings, crowns, bridges, root canals, dentures, orthodontics including Invisalign, and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the Connecticut State Dental Association and the American Dental Association.Outside of the office, Dr. Singh enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son. As a family they enjoy every aspect of life, especially traveling and hiking. Dr. Singh looks forward to forming a lifelong relationship with his patients and helping them obtain a beautiful, healthy smile.
Marilyn graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2012 earning a Bachelors of Science in Pathobiology and Animal Science. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist, she worked as a microbiologist for 5 years. She found a passion for patient care and education and earned her associated degree in Dental Hygiene from Tunxis Community College. She is certified in both CPR and local anesthesia. Throughout her dental hygiene career, she cared for patients with medical complexities, special needs, and has experience in pediatric dentistry.What she likes most about being a dental hygienist is meeting and forming a relationship with patients, being able to educate them and making a difference in their overall health. She is bilingual and can communicate in Spanish. Marilyn grew up in West Hartford and currently resides locally in Bristol with her husband and her two dogs Ruby and Tyson. In her spare time, she enjoys home renovation projects, indoor cycling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Very happy with the entire staff, Sarah, Marilyn and Dr. Salas and their demeanor. Marilyn was very gentle with my procedure and Dr. Salas was attentive and thorough. It was a 5 star experience from start to finish. I would recommend this dental office to anyone looking for a new dentist like I was.

A great experience as always with Dr Sellas. He is professional & his work is excellent. Thursday was the first time I had Marilyn as the dental hygienist! She was amazing & friendly. I highly recommend this practice!! Kudos & 5 stars!!!!

Dr salas is great at explaining what needs to be done hes very gentle and very understanding especially when it came to me explaining my anxiety and my past experiences his assistant sarah is amazing to she helped me realize that the dentist isnt as bad as i was telling myself , thank you both for a great experience !

I've been going to Dr Salas since August 2020 on my journey of fixing my smile and getting it back to healthy conditions. He's wonderful! He takes my anxiety seriously and doesn't brush it off. Very polite and relaxing and professional! His assistant, whom I don't know her name is incredible as well. The two of them work very well together! It also helps that they laugh at my stupid jokes or responses lol I only give 4 stars though because I wish they had more office hours, it is very difficult to have a consistent treatment plan when appointments are a month or more out, or in case of an emergency, the office manager does respond somewhat quickly on the emergency line, I enjoy that I can text her and not have to talk on the phone haha. But aside from the lack of office hours, the entire staff that I have come in contact with is pleasant and professional and a wonderful trustworthy group of people!

Always a great experience at Gentle Dental. The whole staff there is so nice. Due to a bad experience at a different dentist I am always nervous going, but the people at Gentle Dental always make me feel comfortable and at ease.

They are always prompt in keeping to appointment time. I have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to be seen. The Doctor and staff are all always friendly and caring towards patients and very knowledgeable about procedures and aspects of care. I'm very happy with the services and staff!!
