Absolutely horrible experience. The doctor doesn't like to change his gloves. On multiple occasions my husband has asked him to change his gloves during the process of our appointment and we only received attitude and the doctor flat out refused to change his gloves. This led to an argument between the so called doctor and my husband resulting in the doctor kicking us out in the middle of 4 extractions. He refused to continue and now we are at the emergency room trying to get this butchers hack job fixed. I think my jaw is broken as well.

I had a broken wisdom tooth and made my appointment with Doc. Omar Guesmia. Found him to be a very kind and courteous man who cared about his patients discomfort. His impeccable and well trained staff were just as sincere as he and helped a great deal. Gentle Dental Care is truly gental and caring of their patients and recommended already to some family and friends. Thanks Doc and the beautiful assistant that afternoon.

I come to this office all the way from Utica just because simply I trust this dentist and I feel very relaxed while worked on my teeth. Always good experience.

Dr G. Did a root canal on my molar this morning and I was scared out of my mind. My dentist anxiety is unreal. Everyone was super nice and made me feel comfortable. Dr G made sure I had no pain during the procedure, I hardly even felt the novacaine injection. He seemed very thorough during the root canal. Him and the assistant answered any questions i had. Definitely wasn't as bad as I was thinking it was gonna be. He told me I'd need 2 more on 2 other teeth. My previous dentist said I would probably need them extracted. I'm super happy he decided to save my teeth instead of just pulling them. I'm very satisfied with how everything went and high recommend gentle dental!

Very good dental practice went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and safe I am really nervous and scared when I have to attend a dental appointment and I feel confident that the treatment I am receiving is right for me and I'm no longer sick the night before I attend my appointment thank you

Dr Guesmia sorted out all the issues that have been bothering me. He put me at ease from the time I walked in until the time I left. He is an expert. I appreciated his professionalism and the care he took to make me feel comfortable as well as explaining what was wrong. I feel so much happier and better. Highly recommend him. Thanks again for fixing my smile

I have a distasteful history with the dental profession. Picking Gentle Dental Care exclusively for the word "Gentle", was a random decision, but oh so right... Dr. Guesmia is proficient in all facets of dentistry, and very easy to talk with, about my choices... Though I think the best part is when he says, raise your hand if you feel the sensation of any pain... I have a tolerance for pain, but not in a dentist's chair... Oh and BTW, you should patronize his office, you'll find that the staff is just as efficient, accommodating, and uplifting as he is... (Nuff said..)

This place is amazing! I went in there as a first time patient and they went right to work to help me. They worked with me about payments as my insurance didn't cover a root canal. I have had a lot of terrible experiences with dentists and they help make me comfortable and I feel safe and know they will do a great job! Thank you Dr Guesmia and all of your staff!

Let me first say that if this was a review only on the hygienist it would be a five-star review. She was she was very thorough, she made sure to explain everything she was doing and my daughter really loved her. It was a very pleasant experience until the doctor came in. The doctor basically had no bedside manner, especially for a young child. Due to my daughter not being to the dentist in a while because she is on State insurance and appointments have been canceled and rescheduled throughout the pandemicy,she had developed a bunch of cavities. We thought she was doing a good job brushing but I guess that was not the case. Regardless... The doctor was very rude when he asked if we help her with brushing her teeth and I said that I thought she was doing a good job. He then told me that she is not doing a good job brushing which is fair enough, however he said all of this right in front of her and was very brusk about it. So blunt and brusk that my daughter started crying as soon as the doctor left the room. Had he delivered this news in a better way and was a little more tactful with the way he was presenting the information we could have avoided all of this. Did not offer any helpful advice or give any tips or anything just presented the information very bluntly. I can't speak to his work but I can say that he is not good with children. If you are accepting children in your practice maybe you should be a little bit better working with them. My daughter was upset for the rest of the day because of the way he handled it. We will see how the appointment goes in 8 months. If it continues this way we will be finding a new practice.

Had a filling done by the dentist. He ended up drilling it out and then replacing it right after putting in the first one. Had to come back in less than a week after because my jaw didn't connect right from the filling. Plus the same tooth chipped twice from the way the tooth was left after the filling(a very sharp edge was left that chipped off on the second day. Followed by it chipping again when I closed my mouth.) He came in and he couldn't find anything wrong with it. But then declared that I needed the filling redone. Claiming he'll try to fix it "if it'll make me happy." I started getting nervous after he said that. I figured that the chipped issue would be just grind it a bit to make it less sensitive, but apparently he had to do a third filling on this tooth in a week. I looked at the assistant who also seemed confused and I politely told her that I wasn't gonna do a third filling on this tooth. I went to the front desk to make sure everything was alright, when he brought me back into the room and started having a tantrum in front of me, accusing me of stuff that I have no idea what he's talking about nor what they mean. I decided to just stay quiet and wait for him to be done. When he asked me what I wanted to do, I simply stated "Honestly? I just wanna leave." To which he replied "good, never come back!" When I explained to the front desk lady, she seemed almost as if this wasn't the first time. I still don't know what happened, but I will definitely be looking for more professional dentistry offices.

I've had the luxury of having been a patient for several years and I am delighted with every visit I've had. The Doctor and his entire staff is top rate, professional and their expertise is above and beyond. I cannot recommend this Dentist' practice enough!!

Love this dentist! We take our kids here as well. I've been having some dental problems I'm super embarrassed about and they were so nice here the receptionist actually does her job and the hygienist is just a really nice lady makes you feel comfortable. I never once felt like I was being judged, the dentist is a very nice man he actually listened to what I had to say and immediately addressed an issue I have been having that other dentists just ignore. My kids love going here as well never had an issue. Highly recommend

Secretaries are messy and chaotic. Keep getting an appointment set up and then 2 months later they tell me an appointment was never made. Annoying when this keeps happening over and over. Now the next available appointment is next year for just a cleaning. I will be looking for a new dentist that can keep everything straight and appropriate.

Said they were only able to reschedule us 6months out! Found another dentist to get us in the next morning. Will not be going there. Totally unprofessional and receptionist was rude and not understanding at all. Do not recommend them at all!!

Wonderful experience. I have needed a lot of dental work. I was always treated with respect in a nice very clean and sanitary environment. Either it was cleanings, X-rays, fillings or one of my root canals, I was always impressed with Dr. Guesmia's work. Very knowledgeable and kind. Thanks you for making my smile

I would not go here. Call me a disgruntled employee, I am so upset with this Dental Group. I worked there 6 days- thought I was doing great, Dr. Gesima said Hi everyday & I was doing good. After work that Monday, I get a TEXT - a TEXT from this Nicole who told me I was fired! I do not get it as there was a 3 month probationary period. How csb anyone learn a business in 6 days? She stated I did not have experience! I have tons of medical experience, so my thinking is the other Receptionist did not like me or this Nicole chick- was she his wife or daughter? I cried for a couple days, still not understanding why, the REAL why..... but they did talk alot bad about some of the patients, I kept my mouth shut. It makes me sick how places like this just toss you aside like you are nothing. I would not go there as a patient, get laughed at behind your back because you may be scared, young, etc .... I am glad now rather than be there months and end up hating them more.
