Dr. Anuja Parikh has been a life-long resident of Northern Virginia, establishing her practice more than 15 years ago. She attended George Mason University, where she got her Bachelors in Biological Sciences, University of Pittsburg, School of Dental Medicine, acquiring her DMD, and attended Monmouth Medical Center for her General Practice Residency. She is affiliated with several Professional Societies, including the American Dental Society and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. Her achievements in the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dentistry, has made her work doing bridgework, crowns, partials and implant crowns one of the best in the area! She has provided dental services for homeless shelters in Washington, D.C. She has volunteered at elementary and middle schools in Springfield and Sterling, VA, and also at nursery in Fairfax Hospital. Dr. Parikh strives to provide the best dental care possible to make her patients feel amazing!
Dr. Zaher Aymach is a top orthodontist serving the Lorton & Sterling, VA and the surrounding communities. He has over 10 years of national and international orthodontic experience and is in the top 1 in 3 board certified orthodontists in the country. Dr. Zaher is multilingual, and his high level of skill and attention to patient comfort has garnered excellent clinical skills with great chair-side manner. He is dedicated to creating beautiful, confident smiles through personalized care. He value his patients and takes the time to listen and answer all of questions so you feel comfortable and know what to expect. Dr. Aymach is a world traveller who can speak English, Japanese, and Arabic. His education is extensive and includes a Certificate in Orthodontics from Howard University College of Dentistry Washington, D.C., a Certificate in Orthodontics from Albaath University College of Dentistry in Hama, SAR, Postdoctoral Dental Implants Fellowship at University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, a Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Tohoku University School of Dentistry in Sendai, Japan, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Orthognathic Surgery from Tohoku University School of Dentistry in Sendai, Japan, and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Tishreen University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Shalini Sethi completed her bachelors degree in microbiology from the University of Maryland at College Park. She then attended & received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Maryland at Baltimore Dental School, where she received numerous recognition for her technical & academic achievements, including being selected to participate in a cleft lip/palate outreach program with Operation Smile in Vietnam & the Dominican Republic. Dr. Sethi also completed a General Practice Residency at the Miami Veterans Affair Hospital & continued with a specialty fellowship at the University of Pennsylvanias Periodontics program, where she was trained in all aspects of periodontal surgery including dental implants & oral cosmetic surgery. Additionally, Dr.Sethi has several interests that include, traveling, yoga/pilates, reading novels & spending time with family & friends.
Amandeep Kaur is a highly skilled and experienced general dentist. She has a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in Dental Surgery and is certified in Level 1 program on 'Lasers in Dentistry' from University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She has a great depth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of general dentistry, which allows her to provide thorough quality care to her patients. Amandeep also participates in approved continuing education courses to keep her skills sharp and up-to-date, such as: 'The art of effective communication' and 'Advanced Sales' seminar at The Management Group Experts Inc., St. Petersburg, Florida to learn ways to communicate with patients and handle objections in the way of getting treatment, Participated in Dawson Academy course 'From TMJ to smile design', a hands-on course, 'Achieving high levels of success in endodontic therapy', Attended implant training course with Nobel Biocare for general dentist in February 2017 and mini implant course in November 2016.

Best Dental practice around town. From the minute you walk in the door you are greeted with a big smile!! Hygienist and Dr are very thorough and will answer any question you have. Treatment coordinator also as well was very informative and help me plan my future visit and help me financially. Thank you Gentle Dental Care!!!

Recently relocated back to the area I needed to find a dentist and after an exhaustive search I found Gentle Dental Care and Dr. Parikh, and I couldn't be happier. Having missed regular visits to the dentist during the pandemic I knew that I was probably in need of dental work so I scheduled an appointment. Dr. Parikh and her team were thorough with their assessments and made it very clear what I needed to have done and most importantly why. They provided me with an easy to understand breakdown, including costs of everything I needed to have done and let me decide what to work on first. The treatments I had from the Hygienist were easy and painless, and Dr. Parikh consistently checked in with me on my comfort level, plus she has a great sense of humor. The front office team (s/o to Karla) is awesome! This is a great practice and I am so happy to have found them.

Scammer to the fullest. Avoid this dentist at all cost. Dr. Parikh wants your money. At my first visit, Dr. Kaur examined and noted that I need 5 fillings. So they scheduled and me for fillings and after I have one of my fillings done, I had pain my teeth and they made me wait 2 full days to get it taken care of because they were "busy". Then Dr. Parikh examined my teeth and noted that I needed 13 filings for my teeth. Out of suspicion, I visited 2 different dentists and they noted that my teeth were healthy. This dentist firm keeps trying to seek you their products and tell you that your teeth needs fillings so that they can make money. I told the receptionist that I want to wait until my current treatment is in good condition and not in pain. When I put the schedule on hold for next filing, you can tell clearly that they aren't happy that you put them on hold for next treatment. You can notice that all the associate dentists don't stay at this location for long time because Dr. Parikh is a scammer. All the good reviews have been written by Dr. Parikh's family and friends because she only ask for reviews to patients that has good experience with this firm. I would avoid this dentist office.

This dental practice is run by scam artists. Dr. Parikh is a really pushy person that insists on you getting treatments you don't need for ridiculous costs. Things she has done to me: 1. Told me I had cavities and needed fillings. I got a second opinion and I have ZERO cavities. So that was a lie to get money from me. 2. She messed up REALLY bad on tooth bonding on my front tooth. She did a terrible job and not only charged my insurance but also charged me over $600 out of pocket. I had to get the bonding repaired after it broke by another dentist because I refused to go back to Dr. Parikh. The new dentist informed me of the poor job done by Dr. Parikh explaining in detail of the issues present. 3. They were insistent that I get deep cleanings in my gums but after reviewing previous medical records from other dentists, I didn't require that either. This office and the people that run it are scammers and will lie about your oral health to make extra money. I advise anyone that is looking for a new dentist to avoid Gentle Dental at ALL cost!

I've been going to Gentle Dental for years. I hate dentists so much that I hadn't gone to one for decades. But, the drs and staff at Gentle Dental make me look forward to my next appointment. They are caring, competent and actually remember they clients by name without them having to sign in. I highly recommend Gentle Dental.

I had just moved to the area and needed to get my wisdom teeth removed so I went here. Turns out, I also had some cavities, which was a bummer, but from the first day everyone here has been incredibly kind and efficient in not only getting me scheduled for my wisdom teeth removal but also my fillings and clean-ups. Glad I found this place!

Dr Parikh at Gentle Dental Care is THE best dentist ever. I've been going to her for almost 20 years and wouldn't go anywhere else! Theresa, dental hygienist does a fantastic job, gentle and thorough. Dr Aymach was incredible when he did a dental implant for me. The entire staff is warm and welcoming! Love Gentle Dental Care!
