    Roderick Place was named COO of InterDent in 2017 and assumed Co-Leadership as Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Mr. Place has extensive experience transforming private equity backed healthcare companies through his strategic leadership, focus on operational excellence, clinical leadership collaboration, and structuring of field operations and corporate support teams. Mr. Place is also accomplished in leading boards and executive teams through expansive growth in mergers & acquisitions, DeNovo, due diligence and market consolidation. Before joining InterDent, Mr. Place served in executive level operations roles with Western Dental, MedQuest Associates and Alliance Healthcare. Mr. Place is also the Managing Director and Co-Founder of MedSummit Solutions, LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Grand Valley State University.

    Matthew Wickesberg joined InterDent as EVP/CFO in 2016 and assumed Co-Leadership as Executive Vice Chairman two years later. In 2019, he was further elevated to Co-Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wickesberg is an experienced board member, executive officer, and lender with a deep background in multi-site hospitality and healthcare industries. He is also experienced working with lending institutions and private equity firms through structuring capital, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, and uncovering portfolio synergies. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Wickesberg served in various senior finance roles with HOA Restaurant Group, ZTejas, Inc., and GE Capital. Mr. Wickesberg received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oklahoma State University and his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

    Dr. Heather Hawkins has committed her career to patient care while understanding current healthcare trends and value-based comprehensive care. Dr. Hawkins has an expansive clinical, academic and operational background, including leading medical-dental integration as well as quality and risk management for multi-site healthcare organizations. After 12 years of practicing general dentistry, she expanded her skills with several key roles in academia. In 2012 she joined the team at Adventist Health in Northern California, a multi-site health care organization with over 5,000 medical and dental staff physicians, as the Director of Quality. In her leadership role there, Dr. Hawkins led expansion and integration across the health system with medical and dental clinic management and an emphasis on comprehensive care models addressing patient risk factors, active disease and preventative measures. Dr. Hawkins earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certification from Virginia Commonwealth University.

    Dr. Manu Chaudhry has dedicated his career in the pursuit of dental health care, improving clinical quality and access to care, and transforming delivery of care to improve overall health outcomes. He is a dynamic and mission-driven leader with extensive leadership experience over multi-region dental practices, and has also founded multiple collaborative organizations that reduce oral and overall health disparities. Dr. Chaudhry is a board member of Healthier Kids Foundation and holds a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific.

    Sandra Lau is a seasoned legal adviser with over fourteen years experience acting as General Counsel of multiple dental healthcare corporations. Ms. Laus responsibilities include advising executive management, supporting strategic growth initiatives, overseeing all aspects of the corporate legal function including HIPAA, state and federal regulatory compliance, corporate transactions and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and risk and litigation management. Before Joining InterDent, Ms. Lau served as General Counsel at Western Dental. Ms. Lau holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Marymount University.

    Bernard Piccione has extensive experience across a wide range of industries delivering complex enterprise-scale information technology solutions to achieve major global business value and objectives. Mr. Piccione excels at driving sustainable business growth through IT modernization, solution development, and global transformation initiatives while building strong partnerships to better leverage technology solutions. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Piccione served as CIO for Ingenuity Advisory Partners, Inc., Complex Care Solutions, Inc., and MagnaCare. Mr. Piccione holds a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from Boston University.

    Darrin Kellaris is a senior marketing executive with over 20 years experience specializing in digital marketing, social media, and brand strategy. Mr. Kellaris offers a record of success in creating and driving marketing strategies that strengthen revenue, margins, and market share by elevating brand authenticity and relevance. At InterDent, he leads all aspects of marketing including digital and social media, brand positioning, and performance analytics. Prior to joining InterDent, he led marketing efforts at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and IHOP. Mr. Kellaris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State University.

    Diane Stern brings almost 20 years of dental services organizational experience specializing in organizational design and strategic partnering. Ms. Stern is responsible for Human Resources planning and strategy for recruiting, retention, benefits and performance management. She built her HR leadership experience through roles at Coast Dental, PrimeCo Wireless Communications and LabCorp where she focused on employee programs to increase engagement and satisfaction along with operational efficiencies. Ms. Stern holds a Bachelors degree in English Literature, Education, and Business from the University of Tampa and volunteers at KMR Group Foundation.

    The are friendly, have always been on time for me and the entire staff is very competent. Overall a good experience, even for a Dentist Office.

    Front desk was amazing!!!! Dr. Zobaer was efficient and got into detail about what I needed to do to keep up with my oral health. Lisa the hygienist was great! My teeth feel amazing!!! Definitely recommend!!!!

    Extremely unhappy. Had two crowns done a few years back and was told that insurance would cover half. Later realized that the office made a mistake that insurance would not be able to cover. Office kept sending bill to ask me to pay the other half. When i called and tried to settle (it was the office mistake to begin with) and received no responses. I later moved overseas and Gentle Dental simply gave this to collection agent. I only found out a few months ago when i came back to visit and tried to refinance my home (my credit score was severely dampened). I called the office numerous times again and tried to get this resolved and again no responses whatsoever. After a few years the crowns are not quite working now either. Horrible horrible experience.

    I had a great experience at the dentist today. From the front desk staff (both ladies) working hard to deal with my insurance and get me fully worked on today, to a friendly and thorough hygienist and dentist, I feel very happy and will be smiling bigger now! Thank you all!

    Not HAPPY that son misplaced lower retainer, that teeth shifted; however, staff is very FRIENDLY. Orthodontist is very knowledgeable and GREAT with teenagers.

    Dr. Lehman is so nice and gentle. He is always considerate and his bedside manner top notch. He does not say what your haven't done he just looks forward to get you started with the work you need done. His goal is for your teeth to feel better.

    This place has been canceling and rescheduling my appointment since March, four times. Twice, I drove all the way to the office for my scheduled appointment, and nobody there. Never again.

    The office is very welcoming. The whole staff was very understanding and very willing to help in every way possible. Staffing Jamie, Doc.. and secretary have been the best.. people... especially Jamie for helping me out with understanding my insurance. The place is clean and dose practice social distancing. Thank you all!!..

    Thought I I would give this place one more try as they have a new doctor and dental hygienist and I'm glad I did! From the moment I walked in, the front office staff was extremely friendly and professional. The doctor was very friendly and I had the best cleaning ever done by Yasman! I'm a fan again and will definitely recommend this office to friends and family!

    The 2 receptionists were rude and unprofessional. One was a latino guy in with initial J and a white girl C. Didn't have anything to do with races just so you know who to look for. Two other latino guys were so lovely, though. So I was trying to make an appointment on the phone and C did make my appointment, she just wasn't friendly on the phone so I thought maybe she just had a long day or whatever, but the most unprofessional bit was when I came for my appointment that day, she was on the phone so I waited for a minute to check in and then just said, " oh the Dr. is till with another patient and they're doing some big surgery and it might take long and I can't tell you how long" I said, " oh Okay" But in my mind I was like, what's the point of making an appointment and have that scheduled if you can't plan your day ahead. If they knew they'll take longer for a big surgery why'd they put me at that time instead of giving them extra time in between?? Also most importantly she just called me in the morning to confirm about that appointment, just 1 or two hours before the scheduled appointment, why couldn't she tell me that there will be a surgery with another patient and it'll take longer? And then she just told me that when I came without apologising like it was my fault to come to the appointment? Straight up saying "it'll take longer, can't tell when, do you wanna make another appointment?" Wow just rude and unprofessional. Such a waste of time. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to come here. Such a bad experience.

    Horrible service ever since the primary dentist changed. They use to be excellent, but now they are rude and unprofessional. They don't return phone calls, they don't respond to emails. They promise to do things and never follow through. I have called them 4 times since September regarding pre authorization on a treatment plan and we are now in September and they never completed this. I confirmed with the insurance they never submitted anything and I filed a complaint with the insurance.

    Scheduling an appointment was simple (via phone call w/ Veronica). Arrived and was greeted by staff. Veronica assisted me personally, explained paperwork and procedures performed during my visit. Jessica performed my X-Rays, check-up and cleaned my teeth. Jessica was gentle and efficient. If you can select someone to clean your teeth ask for Jessica. Dr. Came and explained my options for my follow up procedures. Establishment is clean and follow Covid-19 Safety Precautions (cleaning all gear and equipment). Highly recommended to all!
