There was an xray service done that was only covered by my insurance once a year. I was coming in for my 6 month check up (the previous visit the X-ray coverage was already used) I should have understood what I was covered for. I did give gentle dental a call explained my situation and they waived the cost for me.

Because of bad dentist experiences as a child, my husband hates going to the dentist. Gentle Dental Arts makes him feel comfortable. We have been with them for over 20 years and know we are in good hands. The staff is friendly, efficient and skilled. We love them!

So happy with my clean teeth! Everyone was so friendly. The office was nice and clean. Hygienists were very thorough and gentle with the cleaning. Dr. Larsen was very professional!

I have been visiting Gentle Dental Arts with Dentist Dr. Alexander Larson for a very long time. They are the kindest practice I have ever experienced. Not only are they very competent in Dentistry, but they are also very compassionate. One time, when I was getting a cavity drilled, I went pale and my dentist asked me, "Are you okay?" I shook my head no, as I was fighting off an anxiety attack. My dentist was so concerned, he stopped what he was doing and gave me oxygen through my nose. This calmed me down exceedingly and we were able to go forward with the procedure. Other dentists I have been to throughout my life just hurried through the procedure. I highly recommend Gentle Dental Arts if you need a new dentist. Update 02/12/2020 Now my children are teenagers and they are seeing Dr. Larson. Here is what my thirteen-year-old has to say. "The people there are so gentle and careful. It is a really good place to go! They also care a lot about you. They are polite and if you are having pain then they will stop and try something different that won't hurt. I really like Gentle Dental Arts!" 06/15/2022 Another great Dental appointment with the staff at Gental Dental Arts. My 16 year son and I both had kind and capable staff working on us. I was a ball of nerves today, and during my cleaning something set me off. Lindsay stopped what she was doing and helped me to calm down my panic attack. I gave her some tips go to help me calm down and then I talked myself down. Then we were able to get my cleaning done. Dr. Larson was very patient with me as he explained what needs to happen with my tooth that is broken at the roots. I was also grateful that he was willing to work with me as I don't want to be awake for having a tooth extraction and he was happy to refer me to an oral surgeon. Cassidy was so nice when she was putting on my fluoride. I don't think I've ever been complimented on having straight teeth before. Whitney who is now at the front desk was so nice to me. She had heard that I had struggled a bit back there and she told me that I did such a good job. I asked if I could have a hug and she gave me a hug (we've been friends for a long time since I've been coming to Gentle Dental Arts forever).

DO NOT GO HERE. I've been to this dentist twice now and BOTH times, there have been billing problems. They've tried to charge me more than my insurance claim says I owe with no explanation for why. I got a bill in the mail with no date of service or description of the charge. Just a blank bill with a total amount. Their records system is so messed up. We actually overpaid on one of the visits and it was such a pain to get them to pay us back. They're always nice about it, but even if these billing errors are honest mistakes, it doesnt change the fact that it happened TWICE and they clearly do NOT know what they're doing when it comes to billing. All these good reviews they've received must be from people who don't understand insurance and never question the bills they receive; they just pay them.

Beautiful Office, Friendly Staff, Dr. Larsen is a good listener and genuinely caring about his patients. Highly recommend this place !! And the hygienist Lindsay! She put me at ease and took good care of me. I will be back for sure !

Really had a pleasant experience at Gentle Dental office. I was scared and they made me feel better. I highly recommend this office. I have had veneers put on and they turned out absolutely beautiful and I've had a couple crowns and they are also beautiful.

They're nice and all, but they really gouge you here. My insurance didn't require them to take pictures to prove they did it, but they were insistent on taking pictures despite it. And each pic of my teeth was like ($50 or so). They also only do texting, no calls whatsoever. Would not recommend. Edit: Lowering my score even further (from 2 - 1) due to them doubling down on their insistence on taking pictures "for my benefit" but then charging me for each picture.

I had a couple of teeth pulled today, thought you guys might want to know I didn't receive any of the nitrous gas I was charged for. I don't know if it was an accident and never got turned on, If you just changing people for it and using it for other reasons, or if someone stole it and you didn't notice. But I would have known if it was administered to me and it wasn't. You guys should probably get to the bottom of what's going on. Before someone who's afraid of dentist or less tolerant then myself comes in there and has to go through the same thing.
