    Roderick Place was named COO of InterDent in 2017 and assumed Co-Leadership as Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Mr. Place has extensive experience transforming private equity backed healthcare companies through his strategic leadership, focus on operational excellence, clinical leadership collaboration, and structuring of field operations and corporate support teams. Mr. Place is also accomplished in leading boards and executive teams through expansive growth in mergers & acquisitions, DeNovo, due diligence and market consolidation. Before joining InterDent, Mr. Place served in executive level operations roles with Western Dental, MedQuest Associates and Alliance Healthcare. Mr. Place is also the Managing Director and Co-Founder of MedSummit Solutions, LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Grand Valley State University.

    Matthew Wickesberg joined InterDent as EVP/CFO in 2016 and assumed Co-Leadership as Executive Vice Chairman two years later. In 2019, he was further elevated to Co-Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wickesberg is an experienced board member, executive officer, and lender with a deep background in multi-site hospitality and healthcare industries. He is also experienced working with lending institutions and private equity firms through structuring capital, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, and uncovering portfolio synergies. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Wickesberg served in various senior finance roles with HOA Restaurant Group, ZTejas, Inc., and GE Capital. Mr. Wickesberg received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oklahoma State University and his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

    Dr. Heather Hawkins has committed her career to patient care while understanding current healthcare trends and value-based comprehensive care. Dr. Hawkins has an expansive clinical, academic and operational background, including leading medical-dental integration as well as quality and risk management for multi-site healthcare organizations. After 12 years of practicing general dentistry, she expanded her skills with several key roles in academia. In 2012 she joined the team at Adventist Health in Northern California, a multi-site health care organization with over 5,000 medical and dental staff physicians, as the Director of Quality. In her leadership role there, Dr. Hawkins led expansion and integration across the health system with medical and dental clinic management and an emphasis on comprehensive care models addressing patient risk factors, active disease and preventative measures. Dr. Hawkins earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certification from Virginia Commonwealth University.

    Dr. Manu Chaudhry has dedicated his career in the pursuit of dental health care, improving clinical quality and access to care, and transforming delivery of care to improve overall health outcomes. He is a dynamic and mission-driven leader with extensive leadership experience over multi-region dental practices, and has also founded multiple collaborative organizations that reduce oral and overall health disparities. Dr. Chaudhry is a board member of Healthier Kids Foundation and holds a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific.

    Sandra Lau is a seasoned legal adviser with over fourteen years experience acting as General Counsel of multiple dental healthcare corporations. Ms. Laus responsibilities include advising executive management, supporting strategic growth initiatives, overseeing all aspects of the corporate legal function including HIPAA, state and federal regulatory compliance, corporate transactions and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and risk and litigation management. Before Joining InterDent, Ms. Lau served as General Counsel at Western Dental. Ms. Lau holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Marymount University.

    Bernard Piccione has extensive experience across a wide range of industries delivering complex enterprise-scale information technology solutions to achieve major global business value and objectives. Mr. Piccione excels at driving sustainable business growth through IT modernization, solution development, and global transformation initiatives while building strong partnerships to better leverage technology solutions. Prior to joining InterDent, Mr. Piccione served as CIO for Ingenuity Advisory Partners, Inc., Complex Care Solutions, Inc., and MagnaCare. Mr. Piccione holds a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from Boston University.

    Darrin Kellaris is a senior marketing executive with over 20 years experience specializing in digital marketing, social media, and brand strategy. Mr. Kellaris offers a record of success in creating and driving marketing strategies that strengthen revenue, margins, and market share by elevating brand authenticity and relevance. At InterDent, he leads all aspects of marketing including digital and social media, brand positioning, and performance analytics. Prior to joining InterDent, he led marketing efforts at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and IHOP. Mr. Kellaris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State University.

    Diane Stern brings almost 20 years of dental services organizational experience specializing in organizational design and strategic partnering. Ms. Stern is responsible for Human Resources planning and strategy for recruiting, retention, benefits and performance management. She built her HR leadership experience through roles at Coast Dental, PrimeCo Wireless Communications and LabCorp where she focused on employee programs to increase engagement and satisfaction along with operational efficiencies. Ms. Stern holds a Bachelors degree in English Literature, Education, and Business from the University of Tampa and volunteers at KMR Group Foundation.

    Terrible service i came to get my wisdom removed and they stained me sweatshirt and jeans with blood as well as they wrote 2002 instead of 2022 on my prescription and I had to drive 40 min back to get the correct one, all they had to say was sorry about that. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

    My experience was exceptionally amazing. Reception was quick and knowledgeable. Nurses were kind and helpful and Dr Van De Graaff was absolutely fantastic. I don't think I've ever had such quick dental work but he managed to do everything I needed very quickly and with perfection. I had some extractions done and a wisdom tooth removed as well and he did them all in one quick sitting. Absolutely recommend him.

    The receptionist was so rude and disrespectful. We had a scheduled consultation for surgery. The receptionist called to see if we could come in earlier, but didn't explain why. I was unable to leave work earlier without proper notice and/or explained the situation. The apt was kept for the original time. I drove 57 miles to my apt (I was referred to this office by my insurance due to needing surgery) and even arrived early to be told that the Doctor was leaving early to go on his vacation and could not see me. They did not call to tell me I couldn't be seen or schedule for another day. After driving that distance with gas prices over $5 per gallon then the receptionist was rude, lied about the phone call and didn't even offer an apology for the Inconvenience or mistake on their part. I have never been so miss treated by someone working with the public and Gentle Dental would be wise to get people working for them that align with their mission statement and values, who can treat people kindly at the very least. I will go elsewhere for my surgery.

    These Gentle Dental offices are so overbooked that they said they couldn't see me for a routine filling for 6 months! Unacceptable!

    This Dentist office is seriously the best. I have had so much work done throughout the years and have had several dentists. But this dentist office is the best I've ever had. They are Gental, quick, super kind and listen to what you have to say. They are so nice to you even if you are anxious or scared. I have been coming here for about 8 months now and I will keep coming back. From my experience with Dr. Han he is an incredible dentist. This is the first time in years that I am consistently coming back to the dentist and he has done amazing work. Thank you Gental dental for all you do!

    I am a practicing physical therapist in Oregon and have been a long-time patient of Dr. Joe Pham's. Dr. Pham's professionalism and level of care is unparalleled, exceptional, and rare in its efficiency and effectiveness. He cares for myself and my kids and I couldn't imagine using anyone else for our dental care. Dr. Pham is like family to us!

He clearly explains your options as a patient and helps you find what works best your situation. We are very happy to be patients in his practice.

    I have been being seen by Dr Pham at Gentle Dental for almost ten years. I don't have the best teeth and he has gone above and beyond to repair existing damage while preventing future issues. I have never experienced any pain during drilling with Dr Pham even though that has always been a problem with any other local dentists that I used previously. He has never overcharged me and his staff is always able to provide clear, up front pricing. I trust Dr Pham completely. 5 years ago, when I moved from Lebanon to Eugene, there was no question that I would be traveling to Albany to continue seeing Dr Pham and I don't plan on that changing.

    I had to have a tooth pulled and they were kind enough to have me come in for a sit and wait instead of making me wait a month to get it pulled. I waiting a long while but it was worth it for the dentist I seen, Dr. Van De Graaf he was very kind and understanding and made sure he did what ever it took to make sure I was completely numb before extraction. The staff was kind and friendly as well, at times they seemed a little short with customers but those lady's were constantly on the phone helping patients and dealing with insurance all while checking people in so I still think they where doing an amazing job with everyone. I feel this dentist is worth going to I would recommend my family and friends to them.

    This office has the sweetest staff. Everyone I've spoken with has been a delight. The girl Brie that I spoke with was beyond helpful and made sure I wasn't anxious about my appointment. Wel trained staff and very friendly doctors!

    Terrible experience. They sure do not provide the best customer service in reception . As they had an entire month to figure out how to bill my tribe for the remainder that my insurance from my work didn't cover. I even talk to someone the day before and they said yes we will bill them your deductible and your out of pocket no problem christina , we got you ! Lol big lies ! I get there today at 7 am , and they are like oh no sorry we don't do that just like we can't bill the VA our only option is for you to pay out of pocket now . No ! I can't do that ! My tribe said you guys can bill them directly , your reception said that just yesterday? Oh sorry Christina , too bad , we have to reschedule or you need to pay , you'll have to call our cooperate billing and figure out WTH! You had a month to figure out and even assured me on the phone it was ready to go !! I think finding a Dentist somewhere else in Albany is a better idea . Dr Pham is awesome but honestly , I think I would of had better treatment if I wasn't having them bill a Native American Tribe here in Oregon . I'm over this poor service . They clearly didn't want to put in the extra work , to help me .

    Great experience having two teeth extracted. Having teeth pulled isn't something anyone looks forward to. Dr Vandergraaffe (sp?) and staff were wonderful. Professional, and thorough. No pain, the day after. Very appreciative.

    Completely unprofessional. I definitely do not suggest it to anyone. My experience: I arrived 15 mins before my appointment time and was told that the doctor could not make it. I received no call or email. They request all your information to make an appointment on the phone but they do not reach you even when your appointment is canceled. I was told on the phone that this would be a comprehensive exam with treatment to follow if needed. At the check in I learned that the call center does not know the details and I can either have a sit&wait appointment with a focus on the treatment or comprehensive exam without a treatment. There is a clear disconnection between the call center and the dentist. So, do not trust what you are told on the phone. They asked why I didn't go to my dentist, which I do not have for begin new in Oregon. Funny for a representative to ask new patients why they did not try another dentist but maybe a hint to how unreliable the service is. I was suggested another appointment in 30 days :)

    The front desk lady was extremely rude. I was all set up to go there this week after seeing the (NICE) people who work at Corvallis, but I will NOT be going here due to the RUDE LADY who I tried to talk to while I was sitting in the EMERGENCY ROOM. They contacted my dad who is dying of Cancer, even though I am 25 and he is not my legal guardian, hassled him into making up his mind on MY appointment, then when I called back they GAVE AWAY the date they originally offered. All within less than an hour. The lady was rude, made me and my dad feel even worse about a situation that landed me in the ER in the 1st place, and said to go somewhere else.. SO that is EXACTLY what we are doing, we are going somewhere else. DO NO go to this place they do NOT care about you, and when I did go in the 1st time for the initial exam they lied about when I Would be able to see a surgeon and there was spiders/webs all over the office... NOT sanitary for a place to work on teeth! OH and they LOST MY PAPERS/XRAYS so they wanted us to spend MORE MONEY.... NO WAY and I ever going to recommend this place, I would give it 0 stars if i could!!
