We have been coming to Dr Barela for a few years and he does an excellent job. The front office are so nice and friendly.Teresa goes above and beyond , I'm so grateful for her as she makes everything easy for me and my family.

Definitely 5 star! I have been coming here for close to around 20 years. Technically since maybe a year or so after they opened. I lived in New York for awhile, and had access to the best dentists in Manhattan. Arizona is my home, but I remember growing up with not so great dentists (I'm sure it was the kid in me). I went to a couple of dentists since I moved back and when I found Gentle Care, I knew I found the right ones. Dr. Barela has always done an outstanding job, including a crown I had done recently. The front desk folks (shout out to Teresa and anyone else I didn't name!) are always awesome. The hygienists, Brinda, Chris, Neil, everyone here does a great job cleaning my not so easy to clean teeth. I've had at least 3 emergencies over the years, that Dr. Barela handled deftly and with great skill. They've figured out ways to squeeze me in here or there, seamlessly. They always make sure I'm not in any discomfort and doing great. I always walk back out with a big smile! Highly recommend.

I am a new patient with Gentle Dental and have been so satisfied with their service. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. I have been working with Monica V. and she is very patient with any questions I have and is more than happy to answer them. She is also great with the work she does. She makes sure to be very attentive and ensures that you are not in pain with the dental work. She is definitely very gentle, which I have had horror stories with other dental work at other places, so this definitely made me so happy and made it so much easier for me to go back. I definitely recommend them!

I LOVE this dentist office (if there is such a thing, lol). Teresa always makes me feel welcome and makes sure I'm always on track for cleanings! Dr. Barela is thoughtful and always explains what is going on and why. He's a GREAT dentist.

When I went to college my teeth wound up in bad shape and I had to get a lot of cheap emergency dental work done, temporary patch jobs basically. When I moved back home I started going to this dentist, and it's made a world of difference! Gentle Care Dental has helped fix my teeth the right way, repairing and redoing all the bad work as it's worn out, and preventing my teeth from getting bad again. I went from gaping holes in my teeth to a healthy set of chompers. I have some sensory issues, so lights in my face, having weird sensations in my mouth, and the sound and smell of drilling can put me in a bad place. Gentle Care solves this by having a tv in every room with both subtitles and headphones available on request. Instead of staring at the ceiling in a timeless void I can watch the movie of the day, which helps both keep track of and pass the time. The staff is excellent, the nurses are friendly and the doctor takes time to go over things with me. Even when I'm just in for a cleaning they're interested in how I'm getting along. Thanks to their recommendations I'm using a mouth guard and an electric toothbrush, which has made a big difference in my health. I even have fewer headaches! Altogether, A+ experience, my whole family loves them.

I went into see Dr Wu and Estela. They were very nice. They talked to me about my breakdown in the enamel. That means I have a cavity and they explained why it was important to floss and brush my teeth . I LOVE Gentle Care Dental. A'Niyah Bryant. I am 8 years old

I would like to say this Dental office is great. I love having my teeth cleaned. Dr Barrella is very through with his exams and does a great job with every dental need. Dr. Barela and his staff are awesome! They are attentive and very understanding. I really enjoy that they have the option to be seen as late as 5pm. This office is clean, professional and i highly recommend it.
