Dr. Aftabi attended the prestigious Boston University in Massachusetts where he received his doctor of medical dentistry (DMD) degree graduating with honors, followed with his Post-Doctoral Specialty Certificate in Periodontology and Implantology. He has given numerous scientific presentations. In addition, he has published his research on periodontal disease in the Journal of Periodontology and has lectured at universities and the local dental society on implant procedures.
In addition to traditional surgical and non-surgical periodontal treatment, Dr. Aftabi utilizes Nobel Biocare Dental Implants, which is the premier implant system in the world. He fine-tuned his Implantology skills at Harvard School of Dental Medicine (Boston) and Albert Einstein Medical School (New York City).
Dr. Aftabi is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), Western Society of Periodontists (WSP), and Harbor Dental Society (HDS).

I just wanted to express my appreciation for the courtesy and kindness shown to me by Dr.Aftabi and his staff. I had a bit of anxiety prior to my procedure and they made me feel comfortable and relax. Karen is so amazing and helpful,she answered all of my questions and made sure I had everything I needed before leaving the office. Anna was very professional and friendly. Dr. Aftabi along with his wife Dr. Fadavi are One of the most skillful periodontist-endodontist teams i've ever seen with meticulous dental work and great ethics,they've got the most technolocally advanced equipment in that area which helps in better diagnosis and treatment in the longterm, on top of that the staff are very nice and pleasant to interact with. on a final note the whole vibe in the clinic is very relaxing and puts any worries to rest when you walk in, be sure to visit for your gum related, implant and root canal dental needs.

I had one dental implant done by Dr. Aftabi. My tooth had serious problem for years, but he did a really great job using his knowledge and the newest dental implant technology and equipments. His office staff were very pleasant, friendly and polite. I am so glad that I found him! I highly recommend Dr. Aftabi with full confidence.
