Dr. Christopher Sprout was born and raised in Southeast Colorado. He attended the University of Denver and then the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. He later completed a fellowship in implant dentistry with the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Sprout has been the owner of The Genesee Dental Group in Golden, Colorado since 2005. Patients love his commitment to enhancing their smiles and improving their lives. He believes it is important to get to know each patient so he can better understand their goals and expectations. By continuing to keep abreast of the latest advances and techniques, he knows his patients are getting the best treatment possible. He has gained the status of Fellow in both the Academy of General Dentistry and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies with nearly 1000 hours of hands-on and classroom continuing education. He is a founding member of the Colorado Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a member of the Academy of Implant Dentistry and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
He has volunteered more than 400 hours of community service with the MDDS Smile Again program and the AACDs Give Back a Smile program, for victims of domestic violence and drug rehabilitation programs. He also volunteers regularly at the Denver Rescue Mission and the Mt. St. Vincent Home for children. On his off days, you can find him enjoying the great outdoors. In the summer, hes fly fishing, golfing, scuba diving, or bow fishing. In the fall and winter, he can be found skiing or hunting with family and friends. He recently added a wonderful new dog, Cooper, to his life. Many of the patients have met Cooper, the new practice greeter.
