Dr. Margaret Houting is a Wauwatosa native, and daughter of Dr. Fred LaCourt, co-founder of Generations Family Dental. Dr. Houting wanted to follow in her dads footsteps and join a profession that is about caring for people and building relationships.
Dr. Houting attended Marquette University for her undergraduate degree, majoring in Biomedical Sciences. She continued her education at Marquette University School of Dentistry, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating Cum Laude.
Dr. Houting believes being a healthcare provider is an important role in the community. It is not only to care for their oral health, but their overall well-being. She understands the importance of trust in the dental chair, and focuses primarily on providing exceptional care, because she has learned from the best (her dad!).
In her free time, Dr. Houting spends time with her two dogs. She and her husband love to go out to eat and try different restaurants. She also loves to travel and partake in outdoor activities, including running, biking and hiking.

This office and it's staff EXCEED expectations every single time. My old dentist was horrible and gave me a phobia of the dentist and so over years I refused to go and get my teeth fixed because I was not ready to endure that experience. But the moment I came to the random lake office everything changed. I was able to go to the dentist and not be terrified or put through the pains that had caused my fears in the first place. My mouth is now in much better condition thanks to the staff there and my fears have changed to excitement! Knowing I get to go in and get closer to all my teeth being healthy makes me soo happy! I personally want to thank each and every staff member that has helped me get to this point. It means the world to me! You guys rock!

I always have had very good service when i have gone there. The staff is all very nice. The services have been gentle. My experience has been good. Dr. Tim is very nice & sure has a cute baby!

I fly all the way from AZ to see Dr. Tim. He and staff are always super friendly, fast, and take great care of my teeth! The lake view doesn't hurt, either. Extremely satisfied and will continue to make the trip every 6 months. Keep it up, you guys are great!

Dr. Tim and staff are fantastic! Been going to same office for as long as I can remember. Wade is such a great help, he is willing to do whatever he can to learn the ropes. Will continue to go for as long as I need dental work.

When I walked in the door I was accepted with everyone greeting me as a family AStime went on I meet everyone and they were all nice. I would recommend this office to my friends and family I'm new a new guy in town its nice to be welcomed

Dr Tim and his staff are absolutely fantabulous! We have been coming here since 2012. When Dr Tim took over the transition in care providers was seamless. The staff is great with kids and always courteous. Most importantly,they provide first class care for my family.
