We accept most traditional insurance plans. Contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Generation Dental Group does not participate in Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs); however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. Of course, we accept all debit cards with the MasterCard and Visa logos on them. We also accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards. We also participate with Care Credit, a unique third-party financing program. Call us today to hear about all of our financial options we offer.

In addition to excellent patient care, providing a positive, open relationship with our patients is one of the ways we stress quality in our dental office. And keeping you informed is part of that commitment. Your health and safety is our number one priority. Therefore, we want to take this opportunity to tell you about the precautions we provide for the treatment of all of our patients.

We utilize universal precautions. Universal precautions means that we use the same infection control methods for each patient. These include wearing gloves, protective eyewear, and masks. Additionally, we protect our patients byusing instruments and other items that can besterilized in an autoclave ordisposed ofafter each use.We ensure that the treatmentroom is adequately cleaned and disinfected before andafter each patient.

Our infection control system has been thoroughly designed to provide you with a safe and comfortable dental environment. Our staff members are also thoroughly trained in infection control procedures and are constantly updated as new techniques evolve. We are very proud of our infection control program and are happy to discuss it with you. Please feel free to ask any questions or ask for a tour of our infection control process. We strive to provide you with the highest quality in a safe and comfortable environment. After all, we view our patients as our extended families, and we treat our patients as we would treat our own family members.

2020 will be coming before you know it, and so will your dental benefits. We would like to remind you to schedule your cleaning, exam and any other dental procedures as soon as possible in order to fully utilize your 2020 insurance benefits. These benefits, as well as healthcare flexible spending accounts, may expire at the end of December. Unlike medical insurance, healthcare flexible spending accounts and most dental insurance plans do not roll over to the following year. As such, any unused benefits dollars for 2020 will be lost.

Are you a dental phobe? If so, we have a safe, effective way for you to receive your necessary treatment right in the comfort of our office! Dr. Julie Ring partners with Premier Anesthesia, a team of nurse anesthetists and anesthesiologists from St. Johns Hospital, to provide sedation dentistry and general anesthesia to our patients. Would you prefer to have all your dentistry done at one time? Have you had bad experiences in the past that make going to the dentist scary? Do you have a child who was diagnosed with multiple cavities and youd like to have all the treatment done at one time? If so, ask us how you can go to sleep and have all your dentistry done in one sitting, right here in our office! It doesnt get any more convenient than that!

Another option we have for fearful or anxious patients is nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide can make you rest more easily when you are at the dentists office. Nitrous oxide is a form of sedation dentistry that keeps our patients relaxed while undergoing different procedures, so no one has to fear coming to the dentist!

Dr. Ring was born and raised in Creve Coeur, Missouri and attended Ladue High School. After graduating with honors in 1988, she attended an exclusive six-year combined degree program at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She was one of only 19 students from around the country selected for this innovative program, and she was a member of only the third six-year class to graduate. In 1994, she earned her BA and D.D.S. degrees simultaneously. It was at UMKC that Dr. Ring met her husband, Dr. Daniel Ring, who was in medical school at UMKC at the same time.

After graduating cum laude from UMKC, she was selected into a one year General Practice Residency at Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. After completing the program, she was selected to stay on and do a Fellowship in Hospital Dentistry.

During that year, Dr. Ring was able to treat very medically compromised patients both in private practice and in a hospital setting. She gained invaluable experience with the management of trauma, geriatric dentistry, dental infections, and other emergencies.

Dr. Ring has set up several dental offices inside of nursing homes, recognizing a need to address an underserved population. Twenty-two years ago, many residents in nursing homes had complete dentures, but through the years, this is becoming less and less common. I guess all the preventive care and instructions we give to our patients is finally paying off! People are keeping their teeth longer!

In 2000, after the birth of her daughter Sydney, Dr. Ring decided to focus all of her efforts on her private practice in Chesterfield. In 2003, Dr. Ring welcomed her second daughter Jordan into the family. Dr. Ring is blessed to have virtually her entire family in the St. Louis region. Her parents live in Chesterfield, her sister, Jackie Reiss, MD, is an allergist in Chesterfield; her brother-in-law Craig Reiss, MD is a cardiologist in Chesterfield, her uncle Jay Seltzer, MD is a nephrologist in town. And, of course, her husband Daniel Ring, MD is never too far away, as his dermatology practice is right next to our office! Though two cousins moved to New York after college, one has moved back (yay!), and the other were still trying to convince to move back

Congratulations to Dr. Ring for earning a spot in the Top Dentists 2018 issue of the St. Louis Magazine. This marks her seventh consecutive year earning this recognition, which is from her fellow peers (including dental specialists) in the field of dentistry.
