I went here because my friend said how great the office was! I needed my wisdom teeth out and a root canal. They had both of the doctors who were specialist right in the same office. Everyone I saw was so friendly and professional, So happy I switched offices!

Well...... I had a referral from my regular dentist at Southgate Dental. I had a small filling that was fixed, but it continued to have bad sensitivity. So, I needed a root canal. I needed to find a Endodontist to help me with this... I found Dupuis Dental. It was close to my house and it seemed to be a legitimate place... I called and scheduled a appointment with them. I get a call the day before my appointment, only to let me know that the Endodontist that I was scheduled with called out sick because of a family member. No biggie. Just another week in pain to wait.... I show up to my appointment the following week. I arrive, and was called back. The assistant was very matter of fact & rude. I was trying to be kind as I could. The endodontist came in, she acted like she had NO CLUE was she was doing. I was told that my regular dentist NUMBERED MY TEETH WRONG, and that it isn't the tooth that is giving me issues since October... also, they said it was a baby tooth.. SMH!! Needless to say. Basically, she told me that the tooth was calcified & that the root canal would be challenging. So, I was just going to pull it! Thinking it was a baby tooth that wasn't worth saving...The nightmare didn't end there. I was so uncomfortable on going back. I scheduled a appoint at a actually ORAL SURGEON to get the tooth removed, thinking this tooth was going to fall out one day anyways so why not get a implant now! So, weeks later...I went to my oral surgeon that I trust from the past. He told me he wasn't going to pull any teeth until I went back to my regular dentist. So, about a hour later, I went to Southgate Dental. My dentist was HORRIFIED on what I had told her.. She told me and her associates that they are in the business of saving teeth not losing them! Needless to say. I almost pulled a perfectly good tooth out of my mouth. Southgate Dental did NOT number my teeth WRONG. It was a MOLAR that just needs a root canal!!! My baby teeth from hereditary is just fine! I am going to ROOT CANAL SPECIALITY in LIVONIA. I am writing this to let you know how much of a QUACK this ENDODONTIST IS.. That is WRONG. I almost lost a perfectly good tooth over a unqualified dentist! She was going to pull the tooth too! I will never recommend your business to anyone.

If you make an appointment at this establishment, make sure nothing outside your control happens to you. If you miss your appointments they will refuse to see you. I think I missed 2 appointments in total and they had to cancel 1 of them for their own purposes. Upon trying to reschedule they told me they don't want my business. Just want to make sure others are aware before making appointments here.

I've been with this dentist for years now. I usually have good service when I'm here, but I've been dropped a few times from appointments, sometimes not notified. Also confused by the name. Is it no longer Dupois dental? I was also given a Covid surcharge of 18 dollars that I had to pay out of pocket in 2020. Imagine every business doing this. It wouldn't be accepted. The building is really pretty with some neat design and art inside. I'm looking forward to better experiences in the future and have been impressed by 2021 so far. I've received better communication and follow up.

Friendly staff. Arnoff was great but the other one is a S.O.B. Generally don't wait for more than 10 minutes to get in. But don't you dare be 10 minutes late or they will cancel your appt without telling you until you get there, even if you told them on the phone you are running late. Also they do not schedule your next 6 month appt. You have to call in and schedule it. Not going back. Lost me and my friends who I referred them too. Good luck staying in business.

They wasted my time not one but twice. I called and set up a cleaning for them just to measure my gums. They then said they will set up the cleaning for the next visit and I get there and they only measured my gums again! They even told me when I got there that they knew they had did that last time. Than they wanted to set up 2 appointments to clean 1 half of my mouth each time. So unorganized and ridiculous. Don't waste your time here.

Avoid this dentist the guy doesn't want to work for his money he wants you to just hand over your money and not even look in your mouth unless u awkwardly asking him too he walks in looks at your X-ray and says his diagnosis so far with me he hasn't been right. I was in the chair waiting for him when I heard an elderly gentleman complain about pain when I heard the dentist say it's probably this or probably that when the elderly man asked him to look he sounded inconvenienced and did it really quick seemed like a coin toss and told him nothing there. Recently the dentist office calls my wife because she missed an appointment we were expecting a possible traditional 25 dollar or so fee but the office told her the dentist doesn't want service her or my family anymore. The dentist was like king Rameses take your family and go unless we pay for the appointment in full. This dentist needs to retire and sell the place to someone who will honor his oath to the patients that seek dental help. For now save your money and do your research and ask around for a place where the dentist wants to respect you as a person instead of bag of cash lord knows I don't have that luxury of over abundance of it.

If I could give them zero or below zero I would. Let me start off by saying me and my wife had been going there for about 5 to 6 yrs key word "been" it started off as a simple filling then went to root canal then crown then implant yes you heard me correctly on several teeth they go through the whole process of getting your money for every procedure for one tooth. After awhile we decided to get another dentist because simply it didnt make any sense that both of us kept getting all these procedures done. So we are at the new dentist best dentist that we ever had. they couldnt believe the "work" these dentists did on our teeth. Yes you guessed it both of us had to get everything from the last 5 yrs redone crowns were not seeded correctly started getting cavities under them implant broke not the tooth the actual implant. Every single thing that they have done the last 5yrs we re did. and between the two of us they had to pull 4 teeth that had crowns from these hacks. I had to get a bridge due to decay under crowns. There cleanings if you call them that are horrible 20 min if that I do better with my water pick and electric toothbrush than what they do. I could go on and on how frustrated that we are and the money that was spent. When you entrust someone a dentist at that with the care of your mouth you expect honesty and care. We have been at new dentist for 2yrs now and we are just a little over half way getting everything re done. These dentists should not be in business a class action lawsuit should be brought against them for malpractice so if there are any attorneys reading these posts contact all of us with these reviews. I have proof of all my dental work that was re done. And please stay away unless you want to loose all of your teeth.

I was referred to Dupuis Dental from a friend of mine. I was in pain and when I called they were able to get me in SAME DAY! Even though I was unable to get any work done same day ( tooth was too infected ) the Dr. put me on antibiotics and I rescheduled my work for another day. I am so happy they were able to get me in on such short notice. The staff is wonderful and now I know why my friend recommended me here!

Writing as someone who witnessed the results of the work. My sister came to you for wisdom teeth extraction. You sent her home with ibuprofen, a piece of jaw bone splintered, and no antibiotics. It became infected. She went to the hospital, then had to pay another dentist to fix the job. Fast forward, she's on her third oral surgery. The damage continues to show as bone pokes through her gums . She needs her jaw bone ground down. You sent her home with ibuprofen a broken jaw, weeks of pain, losing time at work, and fear. Do no harm that's the first rule of medical work.

This place pulled 7 of my as they never in tended to save them anyway they messed my jaw up bad hurts everyday. dislocated for whatever the reason they left half of my wisdom tooth in so i would make another appointment now my throat has an infection & this all happened a year an a half ago so obviously it started off bad this place don't even deserve 1 star.. Happy new year..

I'm a mother of 2 sons, I started coming here since 2001. My sons were always treated from the most caring doctors, assistants and hygienist thank you!
