Most cosmetic treatments are not covered by dental insurance. However, if the procedure is deemed necessary, insurance companies are more likely to cover them. Many restorative dental treatments as well as routine dental visits may be partially covered by dental insurance.
Yes, dental implants can be used to replace one or all of your teeth. Implant-secured dentures are beneficial for patients with rows of missing teeth who want a long-lasting restoration. Typically each arch of prosthetic teeth is secured by four to six dental implants.
Our office refers patients to specialists for the implantation phase of treatment. However, we can provide the final restoration. We work with a U.S. laboratory to construct dentures, bridges, and other restorations.
Dr. Karpovich attended Loyola College, graduating cum laude with a degree in Biology. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1990, receiving his doctorate and multiple honors.
As a personable and caring professional, he is known for his attention to detail and gentle touch. Dr. Karpovich has continued his dental education beyond dental school, providing his patients with the best in modern dental care. Since his first year in private practice, he has been committed to studying new dental techniques with top U.S. dentists.
In his spare time, Dr. Karpovich enjoys playing golf, fishing, and running. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Karpovich is also a fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles.

Excellent experience Lisa the Hygienist was the best I have ever had and the office is clean and the Dr Paul Karpovich is excellent. He does what is in the patients best interest.

I work in dentistry, and heard very good things about Dr. Karpovich. He has a great reputation in the dental world, which is why I decided to go to his office for my dental needs. Everyone (front desk, assistants, hygienist, doctor) is wonderful.

The staff in the office were polite and organized, excellent to deal with. The Dental Hygienist was very through and gave me constructive advice. I only met Dr. Karpovich for a short time and will be meeting him again for a consultation at a later date.

Update 2021: Still awesome and they let you know up front the cost of things ahead of time. Update 2020: 2 years in and still like this practice. No issues and everyone is super friendly. Original 2019 Gets the work done and doesn't feel like he is trying to con me out if extra work. No complaints after a year of a lot of dental work with this office.
