Dr. Michael (Mick) Diez was born and raised in Tampa, FL. After Graduation from Tampa Jesuit High School he continued his education in South Florida attending Nova Southeastern University for his undergraduate degree and remained at Nova for his doctorate in Dental Medicine.
Born in Belfast, Ireland, native to Ottawa, Canada for over twenty years, Dr. Dave Singh relocated to the United States for his dental education in 1989 and brings outstanding credentials to his dental practice. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 1995 and also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
As the Office Manager for our North Tampa location, my job is to oversee the practices operation. Throughout my 28 years in dentistry, I have been committed to making sure our patients and their families experience in our office are positive. I strive to ensure that the quality of our administrative service is as excellent as our quality of care. The most rewarding aspect of my job is helping our patients receive care and achieve their best smile. Outside of our practice, you can find me enjoying time with my 3 sons and daughter.
I have worked for Dr. Diez for 21 years as his office manager. It is my responsibility to present our patients with their proposed dental treatment plan and explain why it is essential for their overall health. I find it extremely satisfying to build relationships with our patients and their families. What I love most is to see the joy in a patients face when their treatment is completed and the end result is a beautiful smile. I am married and have two grown children. I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family.

Outside the Office My wife, Lori, and I have been married for 30+ wonderful years. When I have free time, I enjoy boating, spending time with my wife and 3 children, and cheering on the Florida Gators. As a native of Tampa, I have a deep and genuine interest in improving my community. I have spent many hours over the years at the Keystone Little League baseball park as manager, coach, sponsor, and board member. In the past, I have volunteered my dental services at the Judeo Christian Health Clinic providing dentistry to the underprivileged. Our practice is involved in many community programs throughout the year, such as our Holiday Toy Drive, Good Deed Contest, Food Drive Program, Halloween Candy Buy Back to Support Operation Gratitude and Emergency Day.

Outside the Office Dr. Mick and his wife, Alexa, got married in November of 2017 and now reside in Westchase. Michael is an outdoor enthusiast whos love revolves around the water. From oceans and lakes, to Floridas natural springs, theres nothing he and Alexa love more than a weekend adventure in Floridas beautiful waters. Dr. Mick also has an interest in giving back to the community. He is an active supporter of Operation Gratitude, an organization that sends care packages and supplies to American troops overseas. In that spirit, Dr. Mick is looking to give back to the community in additional ways. If a local opinion in ever needed, Dr. Mick would be thrilled to come lend his time and expertise.

Dr. Singh made that vision a reality when he built one of the most successful aesthetic dental practices in South Carolina, Aesthetic Dentistry. Not only designing and overseeing one of the most prestigious buildings within the city of Greenville but also winning the hearts of the community with his passion and love for his patients. As you too will learn to discover, his dedication, commitment, passion and love for his work speaks without saying.

Outside the Office Give Back A Smile, run through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, restores the smiles of women battered through domestic violence. Dr. Singh has and will continue to regularly restore not only their smiles, but the dignity of these unfortunate women free of charge.

I had a pin hole surgery and Dr. Diez did an amazing job. He is in expert in Pin Hole and Crowns. He is a Perfectionist when it comes to major dental surgery procedures. I love that about Dr.Diez. He cares about his patients. and his Hygienist are wonderful, Melanie, Rosie and Tiffany in the other office. and Julie and Clarissa dr assistants. today 10/25/2022 went for Teeth cleaning and the hygienist are awesome Tiffany and Melanie and Rosie and the staff members. cant wait til Dental implant. will do another review.

So glad I found Dr. Diaz. Him and his team have been amazing with my dental care. I recently got Invisalign and they fit me in day of when I lost my trays. They go above and beyond for their patients here.

Staff is so nice and friendly! They don't try to upcharge on procedures or extra cleanings that aren't necessary like other dentists I've gone to. Highly recommend!!

I want to start off by saying that Jessica, the receptionist here is so sweet and the Dr's here do not deserve her. My experience here was the most negative experience I have ever been through in a Dentist office. The only reason I did not go to my local Dentist was because this office offered a same-day procedure that my general Dentist did not. The Dr. who performed my procedure was Dr. Mic. Don't get me wrong, he was nice at first, but as soon as I addressed to him about pain and discomfort following my procedure he turned into a total nightmare. I received multiple unprofessional and rude comments from him following my concerns of pain that I begin to feel extremely uncomfortable under his care. After I told Dr. Mic how uncomfortable I was and that I went to an emergency Dentist over the weekend to re-evaluate my tooth to get a second opinion, I received a very rude phone call from him, which actually put me in tears on the phone. I truly should have ended my care with him right then and there. When I came in the following week, he even apologized to me about it. I decided to move forward with purchasing a very expensive night guard from their office because I have been struggling with painful TMJ on top of it. Upon waiting patiently for almost 3 weeks for this device, Julie finally called me and said it was ready. I unfortunately couldn't get it right then & there as I wasn't paid yet and scheduled an appointment for the following week. My family was kind enough to lend me the money so I called her back a few days before my appointment and asked if I could please come in to get it sooner. She told me they were very busy, but that she would do her best to fit me in that day and I'd have to wait some. After patiently waiting for over an hour 1/2, I begin to feel as if they were purposely making me wait longer than normal due to the previous conflict with Dr. Mic. I asked Julie about it and she became very rude and condescending. I totally understand I didn't have an appt, but it felt purposely intended the amount of time I was waiting just to pick up my night guard (after I already paid). We ended up getting into an argument at the front desk about it. Lori then came out of the office and told me it was "policy" they fit me for it before leaving with it. I told her that Julie told me a week prior on the phone that I could come in and pay for it, and if it doesn't fit I could come back and have Dr. Mic adjust it. Not once did she mention anything about any policy, therefore it all seemed very fishy. Lori completely ignored this statement and put her finger in my face and told me I needed to "ZIP IT or I could leave". This woman was a nutcase towards me. I wasn't going to sit there and let someone speak nor belittle me the way this woman did. I asked to please give me my night guard I just paid for to take to my regular Dentist for fitting or a refund as I just wanted to leave at that point. They finally took me back to be fitted for it by Dr. Randall, which was just as nasty as his wife. Instead of trying to ask me why I was so upset, he got in my face as well and told me he was going to call the police. I told him, please do. I would've explained to the cop that they were refusing to give me my device I paid for, lied about policies, nor would provide a refund. Please be cautious before choosing this place for your care. If you read their lowest reviews, you'll see clients negative experiences. Their same response each time is "We do not have you on record as a patient here". Not only is this a huge red flag, but you cannot have the same sad response to every negative review you receive as all of those clients are making their experiences up. To top it off, I just went and saw my Dentist and she told me instantly my Crown was messed up. Mind, I have been in pain for weeks now from this procedure, as Dr. Mic kept insisting nothing was wrong. She said my Crown was sitting WAY too high, my bite was VERY off, and that this should have been caught as that will contribute to a lot of pain. Really embarrassing.

I was looking for a new dentist after covid and a friend referred me to Dr. Mick at General Cosmetic Dentistry. I can't say enough about this office (Gunn Hwy). It's refreshing these days to actually have great customer service and a friendly polite voice answer the phones. You don't feel like you are burdening anyone for making an appointment. Dr. Mick explained everything so thoroughly and wasn't trying to sell me on procedures I really didn't need. When I went over my financial plan they worked every angle to find the right financing and answered all my insurance questions. The hygienists are great and personable. My only complaint is I didn't find them sooner.

Always a positive experience. Routine cleanings and check ups are a breeze. Had a dental emergency and they were able to fit me in quickly and took great care of me. The staff are all friendly and do a wonderful job.
