Dr. Gene Cohen graduated from U of KC Dental school in 1975 and practiced on 456 Ballas Road until 1996 and has been at 15510 Olive Blvd Suite #120 Chesterfield, MO since 1997. He has been practicing for over 40 years. Dr. Cohen has 3 children and 1 grandchild. Dr. Cohen enjoys playing golf and traveling.

I've actually known Dr. Cohen for a long time. We went to high school together and were fraternity brothers at UMSL. I didn't realize he was sharing space with my former dentist until my first appointment. I had different dental coverage at the time or I would have switched to Dr. Cohen a lot sooner. My wife and I have been his patients now for several years, and we're both very happy with Dr. Cohen, as well as his staff. The dental hygienists are thorough and skilled enough that I don't leave the office all bloody from being poked and scraped. Dr. Cohen has a laid back easy going manner. He doesn't do any work that isn't necessary. I can safely say he's one of the best dentists I've seen in my life.

My Experience here was Traumatic. On 7-31-17 I went to Dr. Cohen because a Crown was fractured. He filled the area with something that didn't work and charged me $238.00. Two months later the filling crumbled out during that period and I would have a lot of pain at times, Finally I went back to him on 10-31-17 to get something done. He Charged me $127.00, and put some filling in that lasted six weeks. On 12-19-17 he filled it again and it only lasted about three weeks and charged me $175.00. I was having a lot of pain on a Friday, his day off (one of his three days) and I called him at home.He didn't offer anything for pain and told me I needed a Root Canal and gave me the name of an Endodonic to see. I read the Reviews on him and they were mostly very bad. I found another Endodontic and went to him and payed him $440.00 to tell me I didn't need a Root Canal. After a lot of quick research I found a really good dentist at "DesPeres Smiles" which she definitely knows what she is doing. She also examined me and determined that I didn't need a Root Canal. Instead she put a crown on that tooth and the whole procedure was painless. The difference is State of the Art equipment and a Real Professional. It can make the procedure a lot more comfortable, efficient, accurate, and a lot less painful. The difference is pleasantly astounding. I asked for my money back from Dr. Cohen, but he REFUSED.. He caused me so much pain, wasted time, and aggravation, not to mention the Mis-Diagnosing of that tooth, and the use of inferior products . All those were enough to pay for a Crown. He should be ashamed treating an 80 year old patient this way and acting like its normal, or any patient for that matter. I feel that I have been abused . Diana M. Hart

Nicest office I've ever been in! People are caring and friendly and the doctor doesn't try to upsell you on the most expensive procedures. He was really looking out for my well being dentally and financially. Julie is the best! She was so helpful in getting me in quickly .
