Dr. Paul Genasci grew up in Susanville, California, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from U.C. Davis then completed dental school at U.C.L.A School of Dentistry, earning a D.D.S degree as a general dentist in 1988. He was accepted into and completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, completing advanced training in dentistry. He has practiced all areas of General Dentistry in private practice since 1989.Dr. Lee Anne Stigers grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Centre College of Kentucky. She then completed dental school at the University Of Kentucky College Of Dentistry in 1988, earning a D.M.D. degree. She was accepted in to the General Practice Residency program at the University of Kentucky where further dental and medical education was completed.
Drs. Genasci and Stigers have been practicing dentistry together as a husband-wife team since 1990. Genasci and Stigers Cosmetic and Family Dentistry have been located in South Lake Tahoe, California since 1997. Continuing to attend dental education courses regularly in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, periodontal therapy, pediatric dentistry and all other areas of dental education is a priority for the office of Drs, Genasci and Stigers. Their practice philosophy focuses on excellent dental care using the most modern skill, equipment and technology while striving to provide an office environment comfortable for each patient. The new dental office at 2867 Lake Tahoe Blvd. was built with the comfort of each patient in mind.
Ourhygienists are experts in the field of dentistry by keeping up to date with continuing education courses. Their goal is to be an advocate in education for our patients oral and overall health. SARAH HOWARD, RDH has worked at Genasci and Stigers Dental Office for 3 years as a dental hygienist. Sarah is a true Tahoe girl born and raised in South Lake Tahoe, loving hiking, skiing and spending time with her family enjoying her beautiful Tahoe home. Sarah is focused on providing the best dental care for our patients. We are proud to have her share her sincere conscientious skill as a dental hygienist with patients in the office.
Tahnie grew up in South Lake Tahoe and became interested in dentistry at a young age. Initially she completed the dental assisting program at South Tahoe High School then went on to get her degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been a Dental Hygienist for 20 years.
Katie graduated from San Joaquin Valley College with degree in Dental Hygiene in 2005. Katie has a very thorough technique with a gentle touch. She enjoys connecting with patients on a personal level. In Katies free time she enjoys spending time with her family, staying active paddle boarding, hiking and lifting weights and participating in womens Bible studies.
Our Dental Assistants are efficient and knowledgeable. Devoted to our patients comfort, they work side by side with the doctors to anticipating and providing excellent dental care for our patients in a comfortable setting.
MARISA CASAREZ, RDA became a dental assistant in 1995 and has worked in our office since 2006. She is a Tahoe native but now lives in Carson Valley with her husband and 3 children. In her spare time Marisa enjoys crafting, cooking, and party planning. She is a fun, caring, efficient team player.
LAURA AGRIAM, DA began her career in dentistry in 2001. She automatically found fulfillment in helping patients understand and meet their dental needs. She is cross-trained as a Front Desk Patient Coordinator and a Dental Assistant. She is a Tahoe native and enjoys spending time with her nephew and her husband enjoying laughing while watching comedy shows. Laura brings experience, knowledge and laughs to our office.
Debbie has over 30 years experience as a Registered Dental Assistant. With attention to detail, she has a passionate commitment to providing top quality dental care with a gentle touch. She enjoys skiing, golfing, mountain biking and hiking with her dog, Bella and feels blessed to call Tahoe her home.
Claribel works as a Dental Assistant at Genasci and Stigers Dental Office. She completed her certification as a Dental Assistant from Lake Tahoe Community College. Claribel has lived in South Lake Tahoe since 2003. She takes pride in providing quality care for members of her community. Claribel loves having adventures with her family and spreading smiles.
Our Front Office Coordinators are friendly, helpful professionals, always greeting you with a smile. Their goal as the first introduction to our office is to let you know that you are special to us and we appreciate you coming in our front door.
ANGEL CHARPENTIER is a long time resident of South Lake Tahoe where she raised her two children. She has worked as a patient coordinator/ office manager for 9 years at Genasci and Stigers Dental Office. Angel loves to travel to foreign countries to do missionary work. She brings a very gentle, caring efficiency to our office. She is a true angel to work with.
Roxanne began her dental career in 2008. She has experience assisting with dental procedures as well as managing the front office. Roxanne is a very kind and personable person adding to our team focus: caring for our patients as we would want to be cared for. Roxanne enjoys spending time with her family. You will find her on a trail hiking or at the beach with her children.

Halfway to Lake Tahoe (of a 473 mile drive), I realized that I was having dental pain and thought I might have to turn back. Instead, I called Genasci & Stigers and shared my plight with Elsa. She spoke with Dr. Genasci and said if I could get there by 2:15 PM I could be seen. What is EXTRAORDINARY about this is the fact that I am not a patient in their office (and never have been). After a thorough preliminary exam and x-ray by Debbie, Dr. Genasci diagnosed and fixed my problem in minutes. It has been over 24 hours and I'm still pain free and incredibly happy with my care. I can't highly recommend this efficient, professional, and caring team more. Thank you all!

Dr. Genasci and Dr. Stigers are THE most amazingly skilled and compassionate dentists, always delivering top notch care. Everyone working in their office is professional, friendly and delivers a great service. THEY ACTUALLY MAKE GOING TO THE DENTIST A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE!

This dentist lied about how many cavities I had to try to charge my insurance. Here is the story saw the dentist 3 years ago and he told me I had 6+ cavities that needed work ASAP. I had insurance but could not afford even the copay to get this done... I avoided the dentist for 3 years scared of the price and the entire time had not one tooth ache. Finally flash forward three years, I go see a different local dentist that my friend referred and guess what I HAVE TWO TINY CAVITIES that's it, believe me, I asked him to check better.. I told my new dentist this story and he has had multiple patients mostly, young women and men, tell him that they also had incorrect diagnosis from mr genesi that kept them from coming back to any dentist! Do not trust this dentist

I can not thank this practise enough. I was on extended vacation in South Lake Tahoe when I experience a very unexpected and pretty awful problem with a tooth. I had phoned a number of practises before speaking with Janice on reception. She immediately made me feel a million times better, she made me an appointment and assured me there and then I was in safe hands and she was 100% correct. As soon as I arrived I was well looked after and every member of staff was supportive and kind. I was vacationing by myself so this really meant so much to me. I had to have the offending tooth removed, but Dr Stigers did an incredible job and made sure I had all the information afterwards as well. Even when I needed a silly amount of paperwork for my insurance they were so helpful. Janice even took the time out afterwards to come and talk to me and make sure I was OK. Just those little moments of kindness are sometimes just what a person needs! Thank you so much!

Once again simply the best dentist office I have ever visited. Paul Genasci and the hygentists have such a quality of care that pain is minimal and relaxation is a top priority. The office staff are very nice and friendly and always remember my name. I have referred half a dozen friends and coworkers, and they all agree Genasci and Stigers are the best.
