In 1998, I graduated with Honors (President Recognition) at the University of Florida from a 2-year residency in General Dentistry for foreign-trained dentists. I have been at Gemini Dental for over 20years. My strength focuses on implants and cosmetic dentistry but I have the advanced training, experience, and technology to be able to personally handle every step of a patients cosmetic and reconstructive dental goals. I continue to take continuing education courses to keep me on the cutting edge.
I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. I graduated as a Dentist in 1994. After completing all National Dental Boards successfully, I attended the special two years residency in General Dentistry for Foreign-Trained Dentists at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry in Gainesville. I graduated and obtained my Florida Dental License in 1998.
When patients become a part of our dental family our goal is to treat them as if they were friends and family, offering the same treatment options that we would want for ourselves. We want our patients to be able to get the best treatment available to them, and we want to do what is right for them. We want to help them get their life smile.

This place is amazing!! I have been to the office a few times for treatment and Dr. Luis Velis is super nice, caring and explains everything in detail and in an understandable way. Front Desk Sofia is very sweet and attentive and Paula no words to describe her. She is the best when it comes to cleanings. I highly recommend this office. Very friendly staff and amazing Doctor. The Customer Service is exceptional.

Wish I could say the same. I had a filling done twice and it broke again. Another one cost me 520.00 and is still bothering me.... The Dr. always find something else to fix.... Not going back .

The staff eased my worries and took great detailed time with me. After all this pandemic stress and delayed cleanings over the last couple years, I'm so happy I saw them. Paula was detailed, efficient and caring. Couldn't of had a better experience.

Had a great experience at Gemini Dental from my first phone call right down to the appointment. Called to schedule an appointment for an exam due to tooth pain and even though they were pretty booked up they went out of their way to squeeze me in and see me the same day I called. All of the staff were very friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable. Wasn't too long of a wait time and the team all worked really well together! Affordable pricing as well! Definitely recommend this location! 10 stars if I could!!
