I have been in practice for more than 40 years, and continue to be energized by the opportunity to create great smiles, healthy and comfortable bites, and to provide encouragement to both young and older patients as they face many different kinds of lifes challenges. My ultimate goal is to deliver excellence beyond patients expectations and educate patients in the value of oral healthcare and the importance of a comprehensive treatment approach that goes beyond just delivering straight teeth.
I am very fortunate that my life led me to dentistry and ultimately orthodontics. Each patient is unique and I enjoy hearing their stories, finding out about their wants and desires, and helping them achieve their goals in a fun and caring environment.
I am gratified when I uncover a concern the patient was not even aware of and, when addressed, they appreciate how much more comfortable and better they feel. Every day Im challenged, and every day I am learning and striving to perform at a higher level. I continue to be energized and motivated and look forward to each new day.
I attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. I completed my dental and orthodontic training at Baylor College of Dentistry, earning my Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Master of Science in Dentistry in Orthodontics.
The exciting aspect of providing orthodontic treatment is delivering care that hopefully exceeds the expectations of my patients. Continuing education exposes me to the latest innovations and procedures that can further aid the attainment of excellence. My team and I subscribe to the adage that we attempt each day to achieve even better care for our patients than the day before.
I participate in numerous courses and seminars and have attended the Roth/Williams Center for Functional Occlusion. In addition to being an active member of many professional associations, I am also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and was an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry for 25 years.
My wife Madeleine and I have three wonderful, successful daughters who have provided us with nine super grandchildren. We are a very close family and we all communicate almost daily. We love to take trips together, though it is more difficult these days as the grandchildren are involved in so many activities. We all love the beach and the mountains, and everyone is athletic so we all make exercise a routine part of our lives. I have been a tennis player and runner for most of my life, but somewhat recently have allowed golf to take over.
The Rotary Club of Plano and Rotary International has been one of the many organizations I've worked with that is most impressive. Rotary is the oldest of the service organizations and impacts local, national, and international causes well beyond what most people appreciate. Rotary has taken a major role in eliminating Polio worldwide. They help with water projects in third world countries, provide shelter supplies when disasters strike, and provide youth and business exchanges to enhance understanding and peace throughout the world. One of my local clubs most significant projects was building a children's medical care clinic for underprivileged families. I consider it an honor to be a part of such important work.
'I have been blessed to have a team made up of wonderful associates who have been part of our practice for many years, beyond what most professional offices experience. Each member of our team does their best to provide personal attention to each patient, meeting their individual needs, while making their experience in our office hopefully the best part of their day.' Dr. Geller
Ive been part of Geller Orthodontics since 2006, having started in the field in 2000. Dr. Geller is the greatest boss and orthodontist around: he cares about his patients and staff as family! I wear several hats in the office, including reviewing financials and developing contracts with patients and parents and filing claims and following up with insurance. I also pay our bills, handle the bookkeeping, and make sure the office runs smoothly, so our patients have the best experience!
Outside the office, I love to hang out with family and friends. I love baseball, too, and all things Disney. I spend as much time as I can with my husband Andy and our daughter, Emmy, as well as our beloved Maltese, Louie!
I am a people person and enjoy meeting new people everyday and then following their progress during treatment. Seeing the final results those amazing smiles and how pleased patients are, is really rewarding!
I began working in dentistry in 1995, after completing dental assisting school, and joined Geller Orthodontics in 2001. Im happy to be part of such a giving, skilled team, and appreciate all Dr. Geller does for each patient and our staff! My goal as Clinical Coordinator is to keep the clinic running smoothly by coordinating with the other team members in the office and helping patients progress through treatment.
I was welcomed to Geller Orthodontics in 2012 and couldnt be happier. Dr. Geller is the best of the best and my coworkers are family. I spend my days in the clinic, assisting Dr. Geller as he helps each patient achieve their best smile.
My career in the dental field started in 2005 and I joined Geller Orthodontics in 2018. This is a wonderful, patient-centered practice, with a doctor and team who really care about our patients! That makes it easy for me to feel good about promoting our services. I enjoy the artistic aspect of marketing and social media, and having a finger on the pulse of current trends.
In addition to my Registered Dental Assistant License, I have a Bachelors degree in General Education K-12 and Special Education K-12. Outside of work, I treasure time with William, my husband who was my childhood sweetheart. I also enjoy creating visual art, crocheting, and hiking and camping with William and our three dogs.
I started working in the dental field in 1985 and was invited to join Geller Orthodontics in 2021. I love how the team works together and how everyone is always so helpful and positive! My job entails coordinating with patients to provide a smooth schedule that is convenient for patients, their families, and our office.
We are known as a practice offering leading-edge treatments and personalized care, all in a welcoming and friendly environment. We are experienced and dedicated professionals, who also thrive on the relationships that grow as we transform smiles and lives.
For most people, achieving a healthy, beautiful smile is the reason for receiving orthodontic care. If you're self-conscious about your smile, correcting your concerns with braces will greatly improve the way you look and feel.
When your treatment is complete, you will have the smile you've always dreamed of and the confidence to show it off! We also want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your entire orthodontic experience, and our practice is dedicated to making sure that you receive the quality care you deserve.
Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.
