Geist Dental Care was a very pleasant place to go to have unpleasant things done. Staff are warm and friendly. You immediately feel as if you've chosen the right dentist. The atmosphere of the office is very relaxing. I will be making this office my regular Dental Clinic.

I have been going here for years and I'm done. Dr Brittany is amazing. She's very kind and very knowledgeable. However, some of her office people have completely ruined it. First of all they can't get their billing department together. They don't bill the proper insurance, even though you gave them your new insurance card. Then, they expect you to pay the bill when they're the ones that made the mistake. And secondly, one of the ladies that greet you when you come in is the rudest, nastiest women I've encountered in a long time. She gives you an attitude and she picks and chooses who she enforces the rules with. If it weren't for the extreme nastiness from this woman I would go back. But it's been one problem after the next after the next. Constantly canceling appointments at the last minute, the rudeness, the billing issues. It's too much. This woman put me over the top. I'm done. I will never return. I give it a two stars because I really love Dr Brittany but if it weren't for her I would give this dentist a negative 10 if I could. I decided to give them another try and it was a mistake. They will decide they no longer want to accept a specific insurance. Obviously that's fine. That's their choice. I don't have a problem with that. The problem is when they don't inform you. You make an appointment, you show up and then they tell you... oh by the way we stopped accepting your insurance 6 months ago. They never sent a letter, they never called they and they never sent an email. The lady I spoke with was actually very nice for once. She was actually the nicest person I think I've encountered since I've been going here. However, The unprofessionalism that comes from this place is astounding. If you are going to choose to no longer accept a certain insurance, then it is your responsibility to send out letters and emails informing your patients that. Perhaps it is a good thing. Avoid this dentist at all costs. Your teeth can wait two more weeks until you find someone that shows professionalism and a caring attitude.

As an older Hoosier, my dental care is becoming more important to my overall health. Geist Dental Care (GDC) staff welcomed me as a new patient and put me at ease right from the moment I walked in the door. All their equipment appears to be of the new type that can be updated with new software as needed. Dr. Sara Alkhatib is a younger dentist (almost everyone is younger!) who has the enthusiasm of the young combined the knowledge to take advantage of the many more recent advances in dentistry. At the end of my visit, there was a review of potential dental work, including costs. In sum, GDC was proficient, personable, and professional. As a trained analyst, I give them 9.5/10.

I just transferred to Giest dental and my experience couldn't have been better. Great staff and the front desk woman was outstanding. Everyone was very personable and caring. They do there best to fit your schedule and went out of there way to accommodate my timeframe. I will be making this my permanent dentist!

If I could give a negative star rating, I certainly would! I am no stranger to having dental work done, nor am I am fan of it. However I have NEVER had such a horrible and barbaric experience as I did a couple weeks ago at Geist Dental "Care" in my life! The dentist was very insensitive and not very caring of the discomfort she caused me at all. As much as I was embarrassed by the display of my reaction, I was not able to suppress the pain she was causing me. And the audacity of her trying to make me feel like I was allowing my "anxiety" to prevent her from doing what she needed to do infuriated me!!! I could swear this woman was all of 23 years old and I wonder if she has ever done any REAL dental work before! She needs her license revoked!

Very friendly office and i really liked my new dentist! UPDATE below... My new dentist left to have her babies and I made a follow up appointment with the new dentist. Waited over an hour and finally left, requesting my records. Way too long to have to wait for a scheduled appointment, especially for a new dentist. Looking for a new dentist...

I've been to other nearby dentists but this one is the best. Some how Geist Dental Care always accurately calculates my insurance benefits and charges me the correct amount. I wish other companies could be this precise.

Best dentist appointment I've been to. I've been to 3 different ones in Indy and this is by far the best. I was treated so well and wasn't anxious whatsoever.

Absolutely love love love this place. Everyone in the office is amazing and make me feel so relaxed while I'm there. They go above and beyond to help you if any problems arise, I.e. we had a problem with my insurance and they got it all sorted out for me. My husband and kids have been going here for two years now. Thank you all for being the BEST!!
