'Dr. Shahinyan is an excellent dentist. I 've had two root canals in the past, and I had an abscess that required a third. She did an outstanding job of first relieving the pain then in performing the root canal. I don 't think that root canals are exactly anyone 's idea of fun, but if you need one, she 'll take care of you better than any dentist I 've ever had. The staff is very professional and welcoming. Dr. G is by far the best Dentist I've ever had, she knows how to work, she is always looking out for the clients best interest. All of my experience have always been good, I am yet to have a bad experience.

I've been coming to this dentist office since it was Dr. Treger, and it is such a great place. Often I've had insurance that covers my dental visits elsewhere, but I am loyal to Dr. Shahinyan and her staff. For instance I have a (probably irrational) fear of root canals, and have never needed one. On two occasions, knowing my fear, she successfully did fillings on the affected teeth that did the trick. I don't mind paying out of pocket because you can't put a price on good dental care that you can consistently trust. Thank you!

Upon entering the office for my first dental appointment with Dr. Shahinyan, I found the office to be clean and welcoming. I was assisted by the Office Coordinator Jessie, Jessie was extremely patient and professional and made me feel at ease, something I very much appreciated due to the fact that I get very anxious when I go to the dentist. Dr. Shahinyan was pleasant, patient and explained things throughly when describing the best course of action for my dental care. Overall my experience was a positive one and I will definitely return. This was my first visit, and I was so pleased with the services. The staff is very professional, the office is clean, and I was seen at my appointed time. The ladies at the front desk are sweethearts, they were so pleasant and helpful. They were very clear with my out-of-pocket cost, no hidden fees or unexpected costs. I had a couple of temporary crowns done, no pain before or after. Dr G. was gentle and thorough! I also had my teeth cleaned, and again the hygienist gentle and thorough. They are located in a very accessible location. I would absolutely recommend this dental office!

I had a poor experience at this dental office. I was given a deep cleaning because it had been over a year since I'd had my last cleaning. This was not covered by my insurance because of "insufficient pocket depth." I didn't feel as though I was given the option to have a regular cleaning, which is covered by insurance. The office told me I had 12 cavities that needed to be filled, then they set up and started a treatment plan. I had some work done on my teeth before I went for a second opinion. My dentist in California told me that in their professional opinion, after looking at my xrays, none of my teeth needed immediate attention if I wasn't experiencing any sensitivity, though they would keep an eye on things just in-case. I was also told that what I experienced didn't sound like a deep cleaning, but that the fillings that had already been done on my teeth were very well done. I do not have an issue with the technical abilities of the staff, but rather the approach to patient care. I have always been sensitive about my teeth, and it was a big step for me to go to a new dentist. I understand that different dentists have different approaches to treatment plans, but this specific treatment plan seemed very aggressive. I now know that getting a second opinion is normal, and that different dentists will take different approaches when presented with the same information. I only wish I had been met with a more holistic approach, and that it didn't take me leaving a bad online review to receive a call back from the office.
