Dr. Chan was born and raised in Sacramento, California.He majored in Architecture atU.C. Berkeleyand receivedhis Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979. He thenattended theUCLA School of Dentistryand graduated in 1983.He spent over 15 years in Modesto before moving to Turlock and has now beenserving Stanislaus County for over30 years.

Dr. Chanis a perfectionist at heart but also enjoys the artisticaspectsof dentistry.His wife Kristine also serves in the practice as a registered dental assistant and hygienist. Theylive in Turlockwith theirthreechildren;Courtnie, Claudia and Joe.

Credentialsand Memberships include being a graduate ofThe Schuster Center for professional developmentand a member of the Kois Center since 1994, a world leader in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Chan also attends training at the state-of-the-art Scottsdale Center for Dentistryto providethelatest in cutting edge technology whichincludes the integration ofCAD/CAM digital dentistry (CEREC- same day tooth colored crowns). Active member of theAmerican Dental Association,California DentalAssociationand theStanislaus Dental Society.

Kristine has over 15 years of experience in dentistry since receiving her RDA degree in 1995 from Western Career College in Hayward, CA. She has assisting experience in Orthodontics, Oral Surgery as well as General Dentistry. While working as a full-time assistant, she attended Modesto Junior College in order to apply for hygiene school. She graduated with a AA degree with honors from MJC. Kristine was accepted to the hygiene program at Sacramento City College and graduated with an RDH degree in 2009.

Kristine is the ultimate multi-tasker in our office. Her responsibilities range from the hygienist, assistant, and bookkeeper and fill in as needed for our team. As our hygienist, she is trained in non-invasive periodontal therapy and will work closely with you in maintaining your periodontal health at its best. She will always provide you with the most gentle yet comprehensive cleanings.

Outside of work, Kristine enjoys spending time with her family whether it is traveling, camping or just going to the movies. She also likes volunteering in school programs and organizations for people in need.
