Dr. Nathaniel Kunzman graduated from Temple University School of Dental Medicine with a dual DMD, MBA degree. He then completed a two-year general practice residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where he was named Chief Resident of the Department of Dental Medicine in his second year. During his tenure as a dental resident at the hospital, Dr. Kunzman was honored to receive the prestigious Benjamin Lebby Memorial Award by the department of dental medicine for his outstanding leadership and clinical abilities.
Dr. Kunzman is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow in the International College of Dentists, a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and a Fellow of the American Dental Implant Association. Currently, he is the President of the Colorado Dental Association, and is a past President of the Weld County Dental Association. He has also served on the Colorado Dental Association board of trustees as the representative for Weld County.
Dr. Kunzman strongly believes in the importance of giving back to the community and helping those in need. Dedicated to dental philanthropy, Dr. Kunzman sits on the board of directors for the Colorado Mission of Mercy. This nonprofit organization provides free dental care for thousands of Colorado residents every year. He volunteers for this event yearly and was the site chair when the clinic was held here in Greeley in 2018. The clinic provided over one million dollars in free dental care to patients in need.
Before dental school, Dr. Kunzman was a volunteer in Lima, Peru, where he taught elementary school and worked in an orphanage. Dr. Kunzman also has extended his dental philanthropy overseas, participating in the San Lucas Mission in Guatemala, where he provides the underserved with much-needed dental work and care.
In his free time, Dr. Kunzman enjoys golfing, snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with his wife Wesley, daughter Easton, and dogs Grayson and Emerson. A die-hard Broncos fan, Dr. Kunzman also enjoys attending football games in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Summer Damico and her husband are Colorado natives that enjoy almost every activity in our beautiful state including skiing, hiking, exercising and golfing. She came from a diverse family of teachers, musicians, and ministers that currently live in Nashville, TN. Growing up in southern Colorado, She participated in musicals and performance arts, but her dreams were always directed towards the medical field not only to support her family, but positively impact lives.
She attended undergraduate at Adams State University in Alamosa, CO on an academic scholarship and received a Bachelors in Cellular/Molecular Biology. She then went on to complete dental school at the University of Colorado where she also received an academic presidential scholarship for her academic achievements and dedication as an undergraduate.
In dental school, she treated a wide range of medically compromised patients. She also volunteered her remaining time with multiple dental associations as she held four leadership positions through her time in dental school. Notably, she completed a volunteer service trip to Guatemala to treat severely underserved children and families.
When she is not in the office, her love of animals and family keeps her busy. She has three goldendoodles, six chickens, a cat, and two fish tanks! Her husband is a Commercial Real Estate Agent in Greeley, CO, and one of their favorite date-night activities is trying new breweries which they are glad Colorado has a never-ending selection. She is passionate about being involved in the community, and she is also a member of the Greeley Chorale where she loves singing in her free time. Terry joined our team in 1990 and has been assisting our doctors for more than 20 years. She works alongside Dr. Kunzman to perform restorative treatment on our patients. She enjoys building lasting relationships with our patients and seeing them walk out with a smile.
Maria joined our GB Dental office in August 2021. She has been in the dental field for eight years. Maria has previously taught classes for new dental assistants. She works chairside to assist our Dentists with procedures. She loves interacting with patients and helping them feel more confident with their smiles.
She is a Colorado Native and earned her Associates in Business Accounting in 2011. She is responsible for keeping the office running smoothly and oversees all administrative and financial work, as well as programs and practices within the office. She is very passionate about her work and customer service is her number one priority!
Yvette has been with our GB Dental team since April 2021. She started off as our Patient Coordinator and moved her way up to Treatment Coordinator. She has four years experience as a dental assistant and 2 years in the front office. She enjoys connecting with patients and helping them with their goals and treatment needs.
Evelyn was born in El Paso Texas but has been in Colorado for the majority of her life graduating from Greeley Central High School and earning her Associates of Liberal Arts from Aims Community College. She has been in the dental field for almost 10 years! Working as a dental assistant, EDDA, and surgical assistant. Evelyn is currently running our upcoming dental lab named E-Creations Dental Lab.
Sarah joined our GB Dental team in 2020; however, she started her dental career fifteen years ago as a receptionist at an endodontic office in Fort Collins. She went on to become a dental assistant there for four years. Wanting to advance her career and further her education to get a more hands-on experience in dentistry, she decided to attend dental hygiene college in Cheyenne, WY, where she graduated the second highest in her class in 2013.
Sarah loves her job and her patients. She works diligently alongside her patients, assessing their needs, encouraging and coaching patients for dental hygiene at home. She is also very gentle when providing your treatment and will equip you with easy-to-understand information and advice.
Sarah loves spending time with her husband, Nick, and three Maltese dogs, Maverick, Diesel, and Gypsy, when not at work. She enjoys being a homebody, but the beach or the mountains is where she truly loves to be. Her current favorite place to travel is Grand Cayman. She cannot wait to see you for your next preventive care visit.
Michelle joined our team in 2010. She graduated from Laramie Community College Dental Hygiene program in 1995. With her friendly personality and gentle approach to patient care, she helps patients achieve their dental goals and enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level.
Samantha joined our GB Dental team in 2020. She graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Health Sciences. Following this she achieved an A.A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from Thomas Nelson Community College. Samantha moved to Colorado from Virginia in 2018.Samantha strives to make fearful patients feel comfortable at the office in addition to building lasting relationships with them. In her free time she enjoys hiking, cooking and spending time with her fianc and boxer, Bruce.
