I would've left 0 stars. Dentist generates big $$$ for expensive world trips selling tooth caps costing thousands to people who cannot afford them. I just wanted a filling. When you walk in the office every patient conversation is about expensive cosmetic dentistry even if you don't want it. I even asked for an extraction & explained I was in pain. She refused to take care of me. I'm filing a complaint with the State &-still hurting!

I was looking for a new dentist since my husband and I moved to Florida from up north and my teeth were becoming temperature sensitive. BJ, the scheduling coordinator, made my first contact with Gator Dental professional, pleasant, and very easy. I called their office after sending an online inquiry and luckily, got an appointment the next day. I arrived with my husband a few minutes early and had my temperature taken at the front desk window with a forehead scanner by BJ. It was a short wait and very little new patient paperwork. I was the only patient there since I had a 9am appointment. The waiting room was clean and well-lit. Then, I was led into a patient room that was neat and well-lit for x-rays and an exam. [Their bathroom was clean, too:) ] The technician wiped the area before and after I had a panoramic x-ray, and the staff members were all wearing face masks (I removed mine for my exam). I had bitewing x-rays taken in addition to the panoramic ones, which took much longer and were slightly uncomfortable but the technician and Grace were very kind to me, making sure my jaw or teeth weren't getting too beat up. After the x-rays, I asked my husband to accompany me in the exam room since going to the dentist is not something I enjoy (who does?!) and the ladies were very accommodating, even getting him a chair. The first-time patient exam, cleaning, and any additional work are usually booked in separate appointments so be prepared to come back another day if there isn't enough time in the schedule for both on the same day (I was fortunate enough to book all 3 appointments in 1 day!). Dr. Gina is now my new dentist and I'm very pleased and grateful that she's knowledgeable, professional, AND friendly, but also informative about the dental rehabilitation of my teeth. We got the x-rays, dental exam, 2 fillings, and the cleaning done in one afternoon (3 appointments) and I couldn't be happier, while my husband patiently observed the exam, fillings, and cleaning from across the room. Dr. Gina and Grace, her assistant, itemized my Plan of Care and offered me financial options with the help of Melissa, their medical billing manager, to help pay for it all. Rena did my dental cleaning later that afternoon and was gentle, but thorough. My teeth felt very clean afterwards! The ladies took such great care of me that I scheduled an appointment for my husband to become Dr. Gina's new patient the following week. I'm glad I chose Gator Dental as my new dental office - call them today to get your dental exam and/or dental work done. The only thing to be afraid of is tooth decay!

Safety first. Here are the excellent observations. Patients are checked at the door with temp gage. Dentists use multiple gloves during visit. They will answer any questions you can curiously think of about your mouth health as your mind focuses in on different things during your visit. They are upfront about the work and even offer alternatives if you do not carry insurance or proper funding. Honest service. Just know, dental work isn't like shopping at a dollar store. It's costly. Figure out a dental insurance plan to help outweigh the expenses then get your teeth fixed. ~Rei
