Dr. Eagar is passionate about total body health and how the mouth is a key component of health. He believes in treating people as individuals and strives to care for his patients as he would his family. Dr. Eagar cares about staying up to date with the latest education, techniques, and technology. He is a self-proclaimed dental nerd.
Dr. Eagar grew up in Salt Lake City and has lived in Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Maryland, and New Mexico and is thrilled to be living in St. George to raise his three awesome children with his wife. As a family they enjoy hiking and biking around the many trails of St. George.
Dr. Eagar graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He has received additional education in Geriatrics, Implantology, and Oral Sedation. Dr. Eagar is a member of the Utah Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and is the only member of the American Association of Oral Systemic Health in Southern Utah. He is a charter fellow with AAOSH. He is also a member of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine.

Dr: Eagar and his team were amazing! I took my 2 month old in to get his tongue tie released and I was so impressed with the care we received. They were very professional and kind. They did a great job with my son! I highly recommend Gateway Oral Health Center!

I highly recommend Gateway Oral Health! I came to Dr Eager with my 3 month old having both a severe lip and tongue tie and having trouble feeding. It was a quick and easy procedure and the entire staff made me feel so welcome and I just knew my baby was in good hands. We saw immediate results with my baby being able to latch and feed so much better and got her growth back on track! Dr Eager was able to answer all my questions thoroughly and helped educate me about lip and tongue ties. I then brought my 2 year old in and the entire staff exceeded my expectations once again. They are so wonderful with children and really make the whole family feel welcomed and cared for. I now use Dr Eager and Gateway Oral Health for all of my families dental needs, they are the best!

10/10 would recommend!! My son was born with a very harsh lip tie which seriously impeded breastfeeding. I brought him to Dr. Eager and he fixed it that very day. The revision was fast and easy and the staff was very gentle. My baby was fussy for the rest of that day, but nothing serious. Tylenol helped the tenderness of his lip. Since having the revision done, breastfeeding has been a breeze. He eats more and also eats faster. And he rarely spits up. Definitely worth it and I would recommend Dr. Eager to anyone! Great experience!

I travel from Utah County to Gateway Oral Health in St. George for my dental care. I appreciate the attention given to my overall health and how it relates to my oral health. I struggle with severe dry mouth and Dr. Eagar is the first dentist that has taken a serious look at what might be the underlying issues. He and his hygienist, Heidi, have given me great ideas that have really made a difference in my ability to manage the problem. I also really like the extended time Dr. Eagar allows for cleaning appointments. Cleanings at my past dental office had minimal time allotted and were very rushed. Heidi is an excellent hygienist. She is friendly, kind and extremely gentle, yet very thorough. Dr. Eagar's staff are so friendly and helpful. They make a great team! I will continue to travel the distance for my dental care!
