The worse! i had my cavities removed & my teeth still hurts so badly! very unprofessional! all they do is speak Spanish around you which I find rude & it's busy in there & loud, they running from room to room grabbing utensils in the middle of procedures! the place looks filthy in the rooms! I have a friend of mines who works in dental, she told me I don't have to have my wisdom teeth pulled unless they bother me, I stated to him i thought you don't have to have them removed unless they bother you, he starting going on & on about how i have to have them removed & etc, trynna give me a run for my money, they don't care, when it was time to get the other side of my cavities removed, he called off or something for a week & they had to reschedule it, I never went back to that place! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!! 0 stars!

Went there 6 months ago. Phoned them after visit and explained that we had found another dentist that we felt better with for our dental needs. Received a phone call from here regarding an appointment, which I immediately canceled. Well Received another phone call today regarding same appointment which they never canceled. Poor customer communication.

If I could give 0 stars it would be better. First of all my appointment was scheduled for 10:30 they said be here at 10:15 for paperwork. I was there at 10:05. Filled paperwork and gave it back and was not called in until 12:03. Then go get xrays and the lady was a little sarcastic and rude. Then go in the office for the xray with the handheld and she made me bleed of how rough she was. Then I look down after she left the room and I see a dead roach on the floor. The Doctor comes in sees my teeth explains what needs to be done and leaves. In comes another lady with paper saying you have to pay $1221 because your insurance doesn't cover extractions. My insurance cover everything except the crown which I said I didn't want to do. She said well you have to pay for the fillings which is new to me. I end up leaving and calling my insurance and giving them all the codes and all are covered as my insurances covers 100% of everything teeth related. I am beyond upset of how they try saying the insurance will only pay 87$ out of the $1308. Horrible scamming office.

*** STAY AWAY, Lack of care, will bleed your insurance dry & unprofessional staff *** Against my instinct after reading/gauging the other reviews I still decided to give the place a try and booked an appointment. When I called in to make the initial appointment the receptionist was very short and rushed me off the phone bc I couldn't give my insurance information fast enough & refused to book me until it was given. During the confirmation phone call, the receptionist was extremely snippy and rude. Upon arrival for my 9:30am appointment I was asked for my insurance information & billed immediately which was new to me - then given a stack of forms to fill out that took about 20 - 25 minutes. I ended up being called back around 10:00am and immediately off to X-rays. The X-ray tech or person who performed my X-rays that day was okay, she was efficient; however seemed like she was miserable there, and I could see why! After X-rays, I was put in the first room closest to the desk area. Per the other reviews the staff does congregates at the desk - loudly laughing and carrying on as if they aren't in a place of business. I don't mind conversation/chit chat or small talk - if done in a civil manner, however the volume of the squealing and yelling was very annoying. After experiencing that for about 30 minutes I asked the X-ray lady who still sitting in the room when I would be seen, she replied It shouldn't be too much longer. After I began looking around 10 minutes after questioning she went to get the doctor. The doctor rushed through my X-rays & gave me a treatment plan, without physically looking at my teeth which I found odd. Perhaps a new dental practice. After she bolted out the room - billing was sent in with the plan. According to the treatment plan I was given and the amount of dental work I was told I needed. Something felt off, mainly bc I knew where I left off in my dental care prior to relocating to SoFlo. Furthermore; my insurance would have been maxed out after the first 2 visits, leaving me with an out of pocket cost over $3000. Save yourself your time, your dime and the headache and seek dental care elsewhere.

Every time I go to this place they over charge me... I have insurance but they charge me for things that insurance would normally pay for. They start adding extra fees I really need to find a new dentist. Last time I went they told me I had a cavity, but it was too small for them to take out. I made it very clear that if my insurance didn't cover it I would pay for them to get rid of it out of pocket. They said no so they didn't take out( By the way this would have only been a few $100s). Now the cavities much bigger and they want to charge me way more money than initially the small cavity plus the filling of A root canal Excedrin... if they had cleaned it in the 1st place I wouldn't be having this problem but it seems to me that there just after money not the well being of their customer.. I have insurance But they want me to pay for all of this out of pocket And let me tell you this is in the thousands of dollars... SMH

The Doctor was very polite and explained everything to me fully. I was told by to pay before my emergency service which caught me by surprised and kinda embarrassed me. I felt like the staff were Security Guards hovering around waiting for my payment. The cost was unexpected. Its sad that money comes before service but hey its the American Way!

They charged me $35.00 for COVID-19 at the time of the appointment. They never told me the first visit is only for X-Rays and evaluation. So they expected me to come back again to pay $35.00 more and other services I do not need them. They told me also I need a crown ($800.00) for which I was surprised since I have excellent dental health, and I did not needed it. Their only concern is how to make money.

They don't try to help me. And thats discrimination. Why don't make a solution call my doctor, take the number . but nothing the only said is call when i was in front ofthe place. That's rude is hard to make and appointment when you workand have an schedule. Thank you for your bad service.

I've been to plenty of dentists through out my life and my experience here has BY FAR been the most positive I've ever had! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Salazar! I've certainly had nice dentists in the past who I'd be happy to see again, but Dr. Salazar surpasses them all! Such a friendly environment and I really liked all of the staff. It is rare to come across dentists who genuinely care about the health and well-being of their patients, and I can assure you without a doubt that Dr. Salazar is one of them! She's so very cheerful and friendly, while also smart and skilled in the profession! I'd recommend this location to everyone, but especially for individuals who are perhaps more nervous or afraid to receive dental treatments because Dr. Salazar is extremely considerate and certainly more gentle than most dentists (great for younger patients)! Dr. Salazar really is PHENOMENAL! And it certainly helps that her assistants and staff members work so efficiently!

First off let me start by saying that I love the Gate Way dental located across from Jackson Hospital located at 1050 NW 14th St 2nd floor, Miami, FL 33136 its clean and they treat you with care. However, I moved closer to the Pembroke Pines location and not only is it FILTHY, its located in a plaza that shouldn't have a dental office for sanitary reasons! I took my son to his appointment for a cleaning at 1PM and we waited over 1 hour and 30 minutes. The staff is rude, they asked us to wait in the car because they were behind and over booked! Sitting in the car and its nearly 100 degrees outside! Whats the point of making an appointment? The only thing thing that they were concerned about is getting authorization to pull his wisdom teeth... They didn't even ask for my consent!!! I will not go back there I rather take the drive for future appointments! Did I mention that the parking lot is filthy with soiled diapers?? Never again!

The doctor is good and that's about all I can say. I have very good group coverage from my Employer which is a Healthcare organization. This place basically "works" the dental plans and add procedures that are not standard because the covered items do not pay them enough. I checked with another dentist friend of mine to confirm if D4265 is needed for pulling wisdom teeth and he had a nice laugh. This is because the covered item for extraction is $35.00 but if you "work" the plan you can add on an additional $250 D4265--Bone graft and tissue restoration fee that you say is required..LOL. Needless to say I contacted our Hospital group administrator contact at Delta Dental to advise him of this. I want to be clear that this is not the only dentist that does this, they all seem to have learned how to "work" the plans but this was by far the biggest upsell and they say you can't decline the extra procedure as it must be done.... it is the icing on the top! Its like when you go for the 20 oil change but of course that oil is not real oil and it becomes $50.00.

I have recently been looking for a new dentist and came across Gateway Dental. I noticed all of the reviews and how recent they were so I decided to give it a shot. Going in, I had certain expectations... Coming out, Gateway Dental exceeded those expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly. As for the Doctor, she was very professional and so polite. She explained everything in great detail, and answered all my questions before I even had the chance to ask. Nonetheless, she was spectacular and has won me over as a future patient. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist.
