I've been a patient of Gateway Dental since 2009 and have been referring all of my friends and family ever since. The doctors are amazing, and the staff feels like family. Nowhere else compares!

The worst experience I have had a dentist they pulled a wisdom tooth I had nothing wrong with it was not hurting absolutely nothing wrong with it. When I called to speak to the dentist to know why he pulled out so that was good he never picked up the phone he never called me back I was unable to get a hold of the office manager had to report it to my insurance and had to file a formal complaint

Called around 10:45 on December 29th, 2021. Receptionist was purely rude. As a new patient, I called to make an appointment for April of 2022, she said I must have a consultation appointment to check up everything and get the x-rays, I told her I just had it (panoramic x-ray) done 3 weeks ago at another dentist's office, which was not in my network, therefore I came to Gateway Dental, which is in my network. I said I can send it to your office. She said I have to do the check up and have to pay still and then asked for my insurance, I gave it (UnitedHealth) to her, she then changed her excuse to "we are no longer accepting new patients at this Coral Way location."

It has always been difficult to get an appointment here but recently it's been ridiculous. I just wanted a simple dental cleaning and my appointment was cancelled and had to be changed the past 3 times with the office only calling me the day before to notify me. They have a lot of patients and only a few dental hygienists so it's about a month to reschedule. I am changing my location due to this horrible service. I do not recommend this location.

I tried out this clinic after getting a new insurance policy with my new job and was completely disappointed. The dentist who saw me had terrible dentist/patient rapport and kept making me feel bad about the condition of my teeth. On top of that, he kept pushing unnecessary dental procedures like a deep cleaning even though I didn't have periodontitis and he acknowledged that, but still pushed for it. I got 2 more expert opinions and both dentists said all those procedures except one was unnecessary and they were just trying to charge me for extra procedures. Needless to say, I'm not coming back.

Been coming here for over two years and seem like service has been going down! Not sure who they have managing the schedule now but they're always messing it up and even after they confirm my appointment when I show up they can't find me and I have to do an appointment on a different day. I highly recommend NOT to use them. Will be moving to a new one.

The best Dental clinic in all of Miami. I've been a patient of Dr. Miranda since 2011 and I want to state that he is truly the best in the business. He is extremely knowledgeable and caring. Expect for him not to settle for anything less than what the patient needs and deserves. His staff, dental assistants', hygienists' and the doctors he works hand-in-hand with are ALWAYS so welcoming, helpful and informative. I 10/10 recommend his office to all my friends and family.

Very professional and a clean office, but after my experience and reading others' reviews, I think this office is in the practice of upselling and attempting to charge customers directly for services that can be covered by their insurance. In my case, I came in for a regular cleaning. They did x-rays and identified a wisdom tooth growing in. They informed me that it could be taken out easily and suggested it should be done that same day with an oral surgeon there even though he WAS NOT on my insurance, but they failed to inform me that another oral surgeon within their same office WAS covered by insurance. Not telling me of my options meant I paid $450+ out of pocket that would have been covered by insurance. Furthermore, they found two cavities. Their treatment should, according to the insurance company, be covered. However, I was charged for the complete procedure with nothing being charged to my insurance. I have another appointment to complete my recommended care -- cleanings and fillings -- and in good faith, I will ask to see why they are charging me for treatments that should be covered. However, up to now, it seems that they are more concerned with overcharging than taking care of their patients.

You text me "happy birthday" but refused my dental insurance. I think this is something your company should correct. I will not be coming in for a cleaning or check up seeing as how you denied my dental insurance after sitting in your lobby for an hour waiting on an appointment I made.
