Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Was ok until she found out that I had seizures and wouldn't go any further. I hadn't had a seizure in over a year and she still refused! I guess I can't go back! Needless to say I left extremely angry after the anxiety of going to the dentist!

Be careful they will juice your dental insurance, they don't do a proper teeth cleaning and charge over a few hundred dollars to pass a metal like a floss around your teeth and mint paste, like toothpaste. Also, you don't need panoramic x-rays and say it's for your first time visit and it's what's required when they can do regular x-rays just to juice your insurance. Look for another dentist. They act all that! When you have an appointment and have to wait an hour after your appointment schedule, that's wrong.

Been having my Braces done here for over 2 1/2 years. In the last year the service has gone from OK to horrible. I used to deal mostly with Christi who was welcoming kind and a warm receptionist. The other receptionist is by far one of the worst and most sour people I've ever had to deal with in any service industry. Never cheerful or welcoming, always cold and rude. I'm nearing the end of my service there for my braces and have had repeated bad experiences culminating in a canceled appointment today. I scheduled this appointment on the phone with Christie weeks earlier and as usual, as I had for nearly 3 years made my appointment only to end up being told no my appointment was canceled. When I asked why I wasn't notified I was told that "you called in and canceled, is what it shows" to which I replied "No way, you sure that is what it shows?" Which she replied "well yes here it says you canceled" and on and on. Then it was claimed that I might had canceled on a text or by email. Which I know I hadn't done. Then they showed me a form of a patient with the same first name and claimed that this was the paper which showed me canceling my appointment. I replied "hey this isn't me this is a different person same first name but different last name, email and phone number" "wait why are you showing me another person's information?" So on... on ... I am so so so close to finishing my braces finally after ALL this time. I can't wait to get them completed. My payments have been completed long ago. My wife finished her braces a year ago and started at nearly the same time. But my appointments during 2020-2021 keep getting canceled by Gateway Dental for them having a COVID issue in the past. My only day off is the every other Friday which is why I almost always schedule it then. So I again drive an hour one way just to have my appointment canceled by some mysterious means prior to my arrival. I am not sure if this is a leadership enforced action to make me go somewhere else since my contract payments are complete for my braces and now they see this as losing money . . . Or has the service just gone down since I have been there. Which would be another failure of leadership. Either way. This is unacceptable. Do better.

This is terrible I been trying to get an appointment since last week and every time I call they say that there are 2 people before me they left me on hold for 45 minutes and nobody help me and a week later finally I spoke with a lady she was so rude terrible customer service.

This place is super horrible. Staff is super rude and love to waste your time. Super long wait time over the phone. They schedule your appointments so far out just to call you the day of to cancel. Save your money and time. Go somewhere else. They also don't care about your concerns I've complained to them multiple times about this and their response is you can go some where else. They don't care about the patients they just want to get your money with their over priced fees. Save yourself the hassle and don't bother with these people. The staff in the front office are rude and don't care.

Bad experience after bad experience. Never going back. Over priced, faulty scheduling system and bad communication. Made appointment for a procedure, then walks in room after 40 minutes to tell me they cant do it; and was charged $270!!

Came in because I needed to get my wisdom teeth removed. Everything from scheduling an appointment to post op was phenomenal. Jacky and Dr Michael Koury were very informative and guided me every step of the way. The other girls in the office were attentive and friendly as well. I normally hate getting xrays done but the technician made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I had a cleaning done as well by the hygienist Mayra Nunez and she was amazing. I live in Santa Clarita but the drive is definitely worth the service. The surgeon even called me directly the following day to make sure I was doing okay. Love this office!!

Don't have people waiting for over 20 min on the phone holding just to say "We don't have any appointments available for emergency, then why offer same day, then say I can accomidate you?" three days in pain and want me to wait another three days to be seen!! NO THANK YOU!!!

It was amazing I highly recommend best experience of my life everyone is friendly and it looked very well built and nice such good energy I would give it a 10/10 but google only allows 5/5 so I'll rate it that the manager is so great she has a great smile and good energy she manages her staff very well

Horrible experience they made me pay upfront even before they did any work. The dentist Youngil Jeon was horribley rude. Came in for a filling and he gave me a shot of anesthesia and he started drilling after 1 minute! I was in so much pain! I asked for more anesthesia and he audibly sighed. Then there were 2 dental assistants in the room. One began to laugh so much she had to leave the room. Then when she walked out the other one started to laugh. Then the doctor stepped out of the room. And I overheard them all talking and laughing at me. This place is a joke very unprofessional. I will be requesting a refund.

I have been coming to this dental office for over 10 years and have always had a good experience! I been seen for both my routine dental visits and am now on the last stretch of orthodontic treatment. Appointments are always quick and painless.

Very unprofessional, My husband made His appointment 3 months ago to get a deep cleaning when he was told by Dentist he can't get his Deep Cleaning because is teeth are a little poor , Sense when does and Dentist have the right to deny service on there Patient Also my husband missed a day of Pay Do to poor judgment on the Dentist

Lost a tooth due to their recommendations! And lost a crown 2 weeks after the work was done! Don't want to speak bad about the "dental" clinic however, YOU are going to find out yourselves how bad this place is..... in short, save your money and go elsewhere

Ok. So far my experience has been excellent. I am not guilty, to say that I have enjoyed my experience at this dentist. Let me first start by saying that Gateway Dental Group here in Palmdale takes the utmost precautions to ensure their patients are kept safe during this pandemic. Face covering and masks are 100%mandatory. And you have to wait in your car if you have an appointment before coming in. That's great cause do to this pandemic it is necessary. Now, I wanna say that Vanessa was great!!!! She knows how to take care of the patients. Very polite and Reapectful. Now, Dr Mina is an excellent dentist... He took the time to explain everthing that needs to be done and how the procedure should take place .. Mayra also did a GREAT job. Very patient and understanding to my needs. Overall I have to say that I'm very satisfied with the service rendered to me here today. And especially the professional manner in which it was handled. I'm excited to see my brand new smile.
