Dr. Kitagawa and her dental team are friendly, caring professional, attentive,, and thorough. Beyond routine cleaning, when I am faced with a more involved procedure, sometimes I feel nervous or unsettled in the dental chair. Dr. Kitagawa and team exercise great patience with me until I feel calm. Then, and only then, will the work continue. The environment is clean and bright. I feel comfortable and that I'm in good hands with Dr. Kitagawa.

I had my teeth cleaned today and a follow up visit with Dr. K. I love this smaller office where they all know you and you get excellent dental care with that personal touch. They are a full service dental office too. I am very happy with them all and I highly recommend them.

Im always satisfied when walking out of Gateway Dental office. The whole staff is friendly and they make you feel comfortable while providing great professional service. Maria has always been prompt in answering my insurance questions, appointments, and surprisingly dental work. Doctor Kitagawa and her experience through the years we have been seeing her gives us a great deal of satisfaction and confidence to smile with her great work. I would recommend Gateway Dental to anyone that's looking for a Dentist in east bay, you won't regret it!

Updated September, 2022 Dr K Is a wonderful dentist. She is nice, thorough, and highly skilled. The entire team at Gateway Dental Care is amazing. I highly recommend. I went in for a check-up and teeth cleaning last week. Everything went great. I appreciate the professional care and the friendly office environment.

I have major anxiety with the dentist from past medical trauma as a child and everyone was super patient and accommodating to me. My dentist kept pausing during my cleaning to check on me and give me tiny breaks and it meant the world to me. I'm relieved I've finally found a dentist that is willing to work with me. Also, a major plus that the rates for their services are reasonably priced! Thank you Gateway Dental!

One of the bestest and most kindest dentist you will ever meet. Her attention to details to my teeth is so appreciated. Thank you and your staff for always being so on top of everything and being just amazing every time. I used to fear going to the dentist but now it's like catching up with an old friend and bonus is that my teeth feels and look wonderful afterward. First time patient with about 3 visits now. Very happy with everything - from front office to Care work itself. I had avoided going to a dentist for years, Dr. Kitagawa made me feel very comfortable, with very clear explanation of the work that needs to get done. The facility itself is super super clean! Highly recommend.

Dr. Kitagawa was super helpful and accommodating. I was trying to use up my annual med-plan and she was able to get me in and fix my crack tooth; all within a couple of days. I explain my situation and she was very flexible and helpful. I was really disappointed with my current dentist - dispute my family history and years of patronage, I got a no call and little support. Go figure! Gateway Dental will be our new family dentist going forward. !!
